Placements: The placement is good for our seniors when compared to us. 60% of the students got placed. The highest salary was 13 LPA, and 3 LPA is the lowest, and the average salary is 6 LPA. Many companies visited our college like Dell, Sysco, HP, much more etc. The role sales executive manager and tester, assists engineer etc. 30% of the students got internship and stipend.
Placements: The placements are average at best. There is no training facility and it depends only on your knowledge that how much you can get in terms of the package. The placement cell organisers are the worst, so is the department management. They won't teach you anything extra apart from the syllabus and expect you to clear interviews of Amazon, Google or Walmart. In a recent internship exam, my whole section was not able to give the exam at a proper time due to the shortage of systems in the lab. Very f...
Placements: The placements for my batch was predominantly for the IT branches. There were very few companies for Mechanical and Civil branches. The highest package offered for CSE was 12 lpa and lowest for Mech was 2.2 lpa. However, the trend for my seniors was different as there were more recruitments even for Mech and Civil branches.
Placements: One of the strong points to join BIT is placement since it has recognition and reputation. Being ranked number 1 under VTU helps too. A few core companies do visit the college, but unfortunately, a very tiny percentage of the students are recruited mostly in single digits. But there isn't a shortage of IT companies that recruit students from the mechanical department also.
Placements: Placements from ISE last year: 9 people were eligible and 36 got placed. The maximum package offered was 14 LPA by Google and the average package was around 5-6 LPA. There were around 130 companies for both CS and IS and around 70-80 companies for EC. Cisco, Robert Bosh, etc offered internships to students with the stipend ranging from Rs. 15000/- to Rs. 40000/-.
Placements: Placements here are not too good. The average package one can get here in my department is 4.5 lakh per annum. There is around 70% placement. The highest package goes up to 7-8 lakh per annum while the lowest was 2 lakh per annum. 60% students got internships. The highest stipend was 40k per annum, lowest was 5k per annum while the average was 8k per annum. Companies like L&T, Robert Bosch, Wipro, Google, and Microsoft come here to recruit.
Placements: The average package is 3-4 lakhs PA here. Companies like Microsoft have visited the college for campus selections. Overall, the placement scenario here is fine. I am really looking forward to seeing which companies come in the year of my completion. The college claims 90% placements for the engineering students. I am just hoping to get an above average package.
Placements: Placements for CSE students is good. I would say it is above average from other colleges in Bangalore. Usually, more than 90% students are placed. For CSE, mass recruiters such as Infosys, TCS, Wipro and Accenture majorly give an average package of 3.4 to 4.5 lakhs. The campus is visited by more than 60 companies. There are a bunch of companies which will give packages between 8-12 lakh like Oracle Mysql, LinkedIn (12lakh), Walmart (14lakh offering), Sprinkler (8L) and many more. One thing to n...
Placements: The placements were really good though fewer companies visited this year. Almost all the students are placed and many good companies like Walmart, Google, Oracle etc visited this year. The internship offers were from Cisco and more companies will be visiting in the coming months, so overall, the placements are good.
Placements: The placement is really good if you are a computer science or information science student. Companies like Walmart, adobe, Akamai, etc. visits the campus for recruitment. Mass companies like Infosys, L&T, Wipro, and Accenture also come. The highest package for this year has been 14 LPA .Though, these renowned companies come to our college, the role offered to the students are mainly testing and data analysis .Very few developer roles are offered. Internship opportunities are also provided by comp...
Placements: The placement in the college is more than fine. Usually students who get placed, fly out with the average package of 3.5-5 LPA every year. For the CS department, the percentage of placement varies from 93-96%. Overall, the placement for CS students is very good. If any student doesn't find any hope of getting placed, then the mass recruiter companies like Accenture, Wipro and TCS enlighten their dark hope.
The college has a good faculty but average campus facilities. It’s like a semi-government college. Over the years, the quality has dropped along with the ranking. Few courses such as civil and mechanical are good but poor same-field placement. It has the best location and there is no other college with better connectivity.
Nothing is so special about the college. It has been ranked among the top 10 colleges in Karnataka, although it has ordinary teaching, ordinary facilities and no better placements. CS and IS branches have extraordinary placements almost everyone is placed but when it comes to other branches, almost none are placed in their core branch companies. They have to either join IT mass recruiting companies or be unemployed and look after themselves.
It has the worst campus, good placements and moderate teaching. There is a lack of discipline and worst infrastructure. No one cares what you do. No one supports and encourage. Anyone who is only interested in placements can join this college. If one maintains 60%, he/she may get placed.
The funniest thing about this college is that anyone can walk in, without any ID card. Salesmen, walk in freely and no-one restricts. Cons: The college is situated in South India, and North-Indian students are bound to face language issues and BIT is no different. At times, the faculty members explain in Kannada and it becomes difficult for outsiders to follow. To some extent, there is regional bias against outsiders. At the BIT office, every clerk and peon expect bribe, even to do small t...
Placements: Placements are not up to the mark, maybe due to the recession. You cannot completely rely on the college for placements; off-campus placements are better. If a company is offering a good package, then the number of students selected is less. An 8 CGPA or above is required.
Placements: The placements are quite good and you can expect an average of 30,000 and the highest being 95,000. This is an old college which has a recognition and there are good companies being attended here. The placements aee Quite decent. And there's not to worry about .
Placements: Some of the mechanical students get placed at Mercedes, Boeing, and other companies. Some students get placed in core companies. The average salary package offered ranges from Rs. 4 LPA to Rs. 5 LPA. Recruiting companies are mostly Mercedes, Boeing, Bosch, Infosys, etc.
Placements: Placements are good at BIT. In CS and ISC it is better and also in ECE, it's good. Many top companies visit the college. You should learn some soft skills, coding and all.
Placements: Placements in our college are good for our senior batch. The average salary package offered would be 4-5 LPA. Many companies visited our campus. Only CD students get an internship from our college, but only 4-5% of the students got it. The maximum stipend offered by a particular company is Rs. 15,000 per month. Since I am in the ECE department, internships are not important for us.
