Satisfied with everything except the infrastructure.

Placements: The sole reason to join BIT is placement. Around 60-70 companies turn up in a year. The top companies being Amazon, Microsoft, Google, Adobe, etc. A lot of companies namely GE, HPE, Sapient, LinkedIn, Practo hire students for internship and then convert it to PPO if the students are eligible. Equal opportunities are given to tier 1, tier 2 and tier 3 companies. If a student maintains an aggregate of 60% from the beginning, he/she is likely to get into any of the companies. Getting involved in pr...

Bangalore Institute of Technology - a honest review.

Placements: The placements are pretty good for a college under VTU. The highest package offered for the 2017's batch was of Rs. 14 L by the Walmart Labs. Approximately, 85% of the eligible students got placed. There are around 8-10 companies that offered the packages above Rs. 10 L. The placement training provided by the institute is bad. The students need to prepare themselves.

It has good placement records, but be self dependent.

Placements: The placements are likely very good in this college where the majority of the companies come here like Oracle, Dell, Wipro, Infosys, etc. The placement training is also given to the students. The highest salary offered, I heard was 18 lacks per annum. About 95% of the students got placed.

If you are looking absolutely for the placements this is the right choice for you.

Placements: The placements in BIT are quite good for IT branches, but not so good for mechanical or civil branches. Around 90% of the eligible students got placed in IT mass recruiting firms like Accenture, TCS, Infosys. The highest package offered by Cisco was 17 lakhs per annum for computer science students. The students manage to get average salary package around 4 lakhs per annum. The college is now focusing on the internships as well.

My engineering experience at BIT.

Placements: The placements are good. 90% of the eligible candidates get placed in companies ranging from tier 1 to tier 3. The average package being around 6 LPA, the lowest being 4 LPA, and the highest going about 12 LPA. During our batch, we had a mix of roles offered right from software developer, QA, testing engineer, and management trainees. The companies like Google, Akamai, Samsung, fidelity, Adobe, mu-sigma, ACT, TCS, Wipro had visited the campus.

BIT- a top-notch placements and faculty members with a satisfactory infrastructure.

Placements: Well, being one of the first few engineering colleges in Bangalore BIT certainly has a good recognition and reputation among the top companies in Bangalore as well as India. Over 65 world-class companies approach BIT for their campus drives. The campus placements usually start in the 7th semester of the engineering. I can confidently say that at least a 20 students out of the 25 eligible ones will have an offer from the campus. Ther average annual package offered by the IT companies would be Rs....

Good placements in 2017, improved syllabus and infrastructure.

Placements: The decent placements are offered with package ranging from 3.5 LPA to 12.5 LPA for the final year students. Akamai paid the highest package for the SDET profile. The internship will be offered for both 3rd and 4th-year students by some companies with a stipend range of 15k to 20k. The placement record is 95%+ considering all the eligible students with 60%+ aggregate. This year, 50% of the companies are offering the internship with PPO, which was not there in the last year. The companies that vi...

Good in academics. placements are good. Poor infrastructure. Nice canteen. Good faculty.

Placements: The placements in the college are good. One needs to maintain above 7 CGPA to achieve a good package. The average package for EEE department is 4L per annum. All from my senior batch are placed in IT companies (out of those who were eligible). Core companies rarely come to the college. So it's an advice that if one wants to get place from the electrical department, maintain a 7+ CGPA.

An average college for the average students.

Placements: There are average placements every year. If you are not going to get placed in the current year placement drive, you can attend next year placement drives for next year and until any company hires you. There are some companies like Accenture, TCS, and others, who do the most of the recruitment. Google India has visited recently. The average package which is about 3 lakhs to 3.5 lakhs. Some of the best companies in India also visit regularly and offer an excellent package. The placement officer h...

Bangalore Institute of Technology: A good option under the list of private colleges

Placements: Quite good placements are there for CSE, IS and ECE branches with average placements for mechanical, civil and other branches. Lots of companies visit like Robert Bosch, Mu Sigma, Bookmyshow and a lot of other big firms. Annual packages go from 3.5 lacs to 15 lacs. Almost 70% eligible students of CSE, IS and ECE students get placed every year.

Hopefully, in the placement section, my college provide good support. The infrastructure is poor.

Placements: The placement is quite good. There is 90 to 95 percent placement for CS and ISA students in every college in Bangalore but it is not so for mechanical and civil branch students. Previous year, Cisco offered Rs. 14 lacs for 8 students. The average package was Rs. 4.6 lacs for CS and ISA branches.

A good college with lots of opportunities, lots of placements though lacking a campus.

Placements: Placement is the key point of this college. Under VTU, it is ranked number 1. This year, around 80 companies came to our campus with the package varying from 3 LPA to 14 LPA. Almost everyone got placed in CSE, ISE and ECE department, irrespective of the people having many backs. The average salary is around 7 LPA with the lowest being from mass recruiters. Walmart offered the highest at 14 LPA. Google too joined the campus recruitment. From data analyst to software developer then to technical su...

Satisfied in terms of faculty, as the teachers are very helpful, and placement is good.

Placements: All the good companies come to our college like Adobe, Microsoft, TCS, etc. Placement centre in our college heads the children to do some training sessions of Wipro, TCS, Cisco, etc. Overall, it's good. All the companies give a minimum package of 6 lakhs.

BIT- good placement and bad infrastructure.

Placements: Placement is the only plus point of BIT. We have seen companies like Cisco, SansungNetapp, Google, ASamsung R&D, Walmart Labs etc. If you are a computer science student, you need not worry about placement. Although the above-mentioned companies come but around 20-30% students get these offers. The majority of students get into mass recruiters. The highest package is around 14 lakhs but the average package is around 4 lakhs. Many students have more than one offer. In our batch, around 50 studen...

The college is worth spending your four valuable years if you are not getting into an NIT or IIT.

Placements: Placements are really good in comparison to other colleges in Bengaluru. If you have good knowledge of your subject, you can easily get a 12 LPA package. All the major software companies visit the college as it is one of the best colleges you can avail through COMEDK.

Placements: Placements are good as compared to other colleges of Bangalore with as many as 30 companies coming for placements. Highest salary offered is around 14 LPA. Top companies visiting campus are Adobe, Linkedin, Google, Cisco, JP Morgan, Oracle, Robert Bosch, Bookmyshow, etc.

Excellent for CS/IT, okay-okay for other branches.

Placements: For CS and IT, placement is almost 100%. Companies come every 2-3 days for them. For ECE, EEE, mech and civil, the placement is okay-okay. However, getting placed in core companies is very very difficult as these companies take only a handful of students. Others get placed in Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, which are the prime mass recruiters.

Never prefer VTU colleges, if you have other options. BIT is good but lacks a good faculty. It has one of the best in placements, which is a strong point. You can enjoy a lot. Placement in companies depends on your competency. Students of BIT have excellent academic records and are placed in esteemed industries and corporate sectors. The graduates and postgraduate students of BIT are continuously trained on aptitude, technical and soft skills. Seminars, workshops, and faculty development pro...

It is one of the top VTU affiliated engineering colleges. I study in ME. It has a host of clubs and activities to choose from all around developments. The college hosts entertaining fests every year. This college is up to the mark in the quality of teaching as the classes are conducted as per schedule. Placements are good. However, something which the students often crib about is that the campus is small and there is no ground for outdoor activities such as cricket and football. This forces t...

The environment and education are pretty good and faculty members are focused on teaching. The main factor about my college is that lab education is one of the best parts here. If I talk about sports, there are so many Students’ Association and they all are too supportive. This is situated in the center of Bangalore city, so transportation services are easily available until 11 pm. As Bangalore is an IT city, hence, placement criteria for ECE, CS and IS Department are very good. Out of 100 s...
