All about Bankura Sammilani Medical College.

Faculty: Faculty are renowned doctors; they also teach very well, and examinations are conducted in a very well-mannered and regular basis, best for students to grow in study. And also hands-on knowledge is given by the professors at our own hospital and direct interaction with patients.

In terms of infrastructure and study scope, my college is such a nice college.

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and also pay attention to the students. The teaching quality is truly good. There are 9 semester exams in total in the MBBS course, and students must get 50% marks to pass year-wise. University exams or MB exams are the final exams for each year.

BSMCH excels in academics, faculty, and hospital facilities, making it an excellent choice for MBBS.

Faculty: The medical college is run by the government, which means you will face intense competition from your fellow students. You can expect numerous exams throughout your academic journey, including partial completion exams, semester exams, and ultimately, professional exams conducted by universities. The seniors are known for their supportive nature, and the postgraduate trainees (PGTs) will also assist you in clinical subjects.

A college which needs serious improvement but some seriously knowledgeable faculty.

Faculty: Teachers teach well but only in Bangla language. There is a huge language barrier, even if you tell them to speak in English or Hindi, they will come back to Bangla after a few lies. The course is curriculum relevant, it is making us ready for the future to be a good doctor. The semester exams are quite tough with strict invigilation. The passing percentage is 50%.

An old but gold college (with a lot of things to improve) .

Faculty: Teachers are well qualified, generous and always ready to help the students. Mostly teachers teach in Bengali. But if someone does not understand Bengali they also try in either English or Hindi. Exams are conducted in 3 patterns: 1 MB occurs which is the final passing exam conducted from WBUHS, a total of 9 semester exams are conducted in every 4-5 months, and finally after completing one unit regular PCTs are conducted in every 10-15 days. Syllabus is easily completed well within time and revi...

Really good infrastructure.

Faculty: Teachers are excellent in their way of making us understand the course material. They take enough efforts to make us understand the practical applications of this field as well. Semesters are moderate to difficult, as is the case with every other medical college. The pass percentage is good.

Absolutely amazing because you will make lots of friends, faculty and teachers are amazing, .

Faculty: Teachers are really good, qualified and knowledgeable. Of course MBBS doctors are really need in our society. Final exams are really tough and passing rate is about 90. In medical college teachers always helps about any problem in understanding. Teaching quality is good but we have to do online classes.

One of the best and oldest medical colleges in the periphery of kolkata, efficient clinical exposure.

Faculty: Teachers/ professors are highly qualified doctors with so much of experience and knowledge in their field. They are helpful and approachable. Well in MBBS most of the times we have to study on our own but of course with the professors guidance. Our college comes as number one in peripheral colleges near Kolkata with excellent results every year. Course curriculum us total of 4.5 years with 1 year of internship, that's quite a good amount of time to complete the huge MBBS syllabus. There are in t...

It is a kind of average medical college.

Faculty: All faculty members are well qualified in their subjects. They help you understand the topics. If you are an all-India quota student and don't know Bengali, you may face a little bit of trouble in learning as professors are Bengali natives and sometimes use Bengali for teaching. If you have done MBBS here, vast career opportunities for students are available in the medical field. Semester exams are very tough. The passing percentage is lower than the main university exam. The passing percentage ...

Review of Bankura Sammilani Medical College.

Faculty: Faculty members are highly qualified. Each department has specialized demonstrators and professors. Practicals are very good and dissection classes are repeated three times till students have all their doubts cleared. Most of the faculty members passed from this college and after completing their specialty degrees they came here to flourish in their college. So they teach like teaching their kids. It is a great experience studying here.

Faculty: All teachers are qualified with good teaching ability. Yes, the internship period is very important here and it's prepared us for the future work field. Semester examinations are not so tough not so easy 3-semester examinations are done every year 50% of marks must is required for passing.
