B.Sc. (Hons.) in Statistics - Batch of 2023

Average teaching and infrastructure.
Placements: Almost 60 percent of students have got placement. Don't have idea about the packages of courses offered. Don't have knowledge about the students who've got internship. Many seniors are working as data analytics and many have got jobs of good amount.
Infrastructure: We've got Wi-Fi, labs, classroom, library in our college. Wi-Fi is only used for college's official work, we don't have access to it. I'm not a resident of hostel, so I've no idea about the facilities of there, NSS is there in college, no canteen is there.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, knowledgeable and qualified well. Teaching quality varies from teacher to teacher, overall average. Course curriculum is not so relevant, it's mainly theory based, it doesn't make students industry ready. Sem exams are quite difficult, 70 percent is the pass percentage.
Other: I've chosen the course as per market's high demand for statistician. There is a lot to learn from the course. The course should be more practical oriented and programming oriented.

I am dissatisfied because of the infrastructure.
Placements: There were about 19 students in our batch. Our batch was comprised of quite intelligent students from good schools, but we never got a chance to attend for any company as there was no placement cell at our time. I have never seen any of our seniors got placed through the college.
Infrastructure: The library is quite good. Facilities like classrooms, common rooms, games room, canteen, labs and others were in extremely bad condition. During our time, the college was undergoing some major infrastructural changes.
Faculty: Teachers in our course were very friendly, highly qualified and experienced with good teaching skills. Statics and maths teachers were not good. The course curriculum was average if students choose to opt for masters or a post-doctorate degree. The course curriculum is not at all relevant if students opt for private-sector jobs.

In a word, BDC is a good college for disciplined and attentive students.
Placements: The college does not provide any placement opportunities. Previously, TCS visited the college, but for the last two years, it didn't visit the college to hire the students. Department-wise, many seminars are organised, so it is helpful for the students in the future. Some NSC classes are going on in the college, and the students may join as a librarian in the college itself.
Infrastructure: Physics lab is good enough, especially electronics lab. Overall, all the instruments are fair enough. There is a dark room for optics. The classrooms are very big, and still, there is a blackboard system. In the labs, there are a projector and a whiteboard. The security is good. Washrooms are fine enough.
Faculty: The faculty members in the college are good, but they are not very open with the students. There is no interpersonal relationship between teachers and students, but still, the faculty members are helpful. The practical session depends on the faculty. Faculty members try hard to finish the whole syllabus. Parent-teacher meeting is also held in the college.
Other: Every year, an annual programme is organised, especially arts group introduced it. They take us for a picnic annually. Some experienced faculty members visit the college to teach and deliver lectures, and also some two to three seminars.

It's very good because they have their personality .
Placements: So many students are un the course, 78%, many types of counseling like treatment of children, so good, teachers are American, but they have to do something like that for the most important thing is that you can I have no idea how to do it but you have to make sure? The right? For your business and you will need a .
Infrastructure: Very good, they have cleaned washrooms, they librey in AC, good class room, clean college, hhh the best for the most used in Bengal version of your programme and you will need a very good one to? They have a lot to say to you about how to do this and that I can I can get you to do that and I will be there on the 15th and will be able for a .
Faculty: Teacher are very helpful, they are clam, they are gentle with every student has to be a child and they have a lot to learn and be a part in the sun in the world of our first day and I hope that we will need to get a hold on 22nd and I would love you so?
Other: Campus is good .

The management of this college should try to improve the language barrier as all teachers teach in B
Placements: Nearly 90% of students have been placed, with the highest package being $1,000 and the lowest being $700. There is no internship being provided over here.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this institution is very nice, but the hostel needs a little renovation. The canteen is nice and well organized.
Faculty: The teachers are very qualified. The course curriculum is relevant and it helps the students achieve their goals. The semester exams are not that difficult in college. The pass percentage is 40%.
Other: The things that should be improved are awareness of the subject among the people and its relevance.

This college building is very beautiful.
Placements: This college provides good placement for all students. It is good for a student's future. Around 56% of students are placed in this course. This college offered Rs 5,000 in our course. Banking jobs and any other jobs are offered for this course. It is a very good choice for me.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are clean in this college. All sports and games are available, and library is also very good. There are various types of math books, and also other subjects books are available. Canteen is good, and the food served is healthy and yummy.
Faculty: Faculty members are good for mathematics honors. The teachers are very helpful and humble with students. Teachers have high qualified degrees. The semester exams are difficult to complete the syllabus within 6 months otherwise, it is good. The passing marks are 25 out of 100.
Other: I opted for mathematics, because of my interest in it. It is my favorite subject.
