University of Calcutta - The oldest college in India.
Placements: Our college provides internship programs where students take part; basically, final semester students get offers from some genuine multinational companies. Around 70% of the students are selected every year.
Infrastructure: M.A. in English Language and Literature - 2400/- M.A. in French - 2400/- M.A. in Human Rights - 42000/- total There are many more information of course details on the university website. Facilities and infrastructure are very highly supportive for the students.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful to students with proper materials. Course curriculum is very relevant in this college, and internships make a student industry-ready. If students go through properly, then semesters would not bother them; the CGPA is aggregated over all 10.
Other: The campus and the student unit are quite beautiful in nature and behavior. Students should try this ragging-free college after higher secondary.

They didn't make us ready for the real world. They just taught us what was written in books.
Placements: Rarely do we get placement offers. Our college rarely offered us placements. Not even did we get any internship offers, and we haven't heard anything from our seniors about any worthy internships or placements. We haven't heard of any big companies coming to offer anything.
Infrastructure: I would say the infrastructure of our college is fairly good after the construction of the new building. The new classrooms are very big with digital boards. The computer classrooms have been upgraded with internet. The library is okay. They have mostly old books. There are no Wi-Fi services for students. There is no canteen in our college as of now. Sports and games are one of the most exciting things that happen. Every quarter, a sports/game event is organized for us students.
Faculty: 9 out of 10 teachers are knowledgeable and well-qualified in their subjects. They share their knowledge and experience with us. But they don't prepare us for the industry. They just make us study. The difficulty of exams is above fair; anyone who studies a little will surely pass the exam, but to get good marks, we have to study hard.
Other: I wanted to do something in CS, but there wasn't anything in the course. We just learned the basics and fairly gained knowledge of most languages. They don't teach us what the industry requires. They just teach theory, not real-life practical skills. Events, activities, and sports are the things in which the college (and the students who organize them) are good. Everyone enjoys that. Yes, we get a scholarship for our course.

The college is quite good, but there is always a scope for improvement, which can benefit all of us.
Placements: Heritage Law College does not offer direct placements, but they help us to connect with various law firms through internships and visits. It is actually quite helpful because through this we can actually get to know the fact that in every place the situation will be different and we should learn to handle that.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is quite good. We also get access to Wi-Fi and internet, tha classrooms are also mostly clean. The good thing is that we also get proper access to the library, which is very important for the law students. The hostels can be made much better same goes for the food, but we get much access to sport and games.
Faculty: The faculty of this college is not that appreciable. The teachers don't seem very much active in their teaching, it can be improvise, though we get 5-6 lectures in a week regarding our course. But the exams are quite good, the questions asked are quite relevant and practical based, which is a good thing.

Very much satisfied with my college, and placements are also good here.
Placements: 80% of students are placed in good companies, and many have got internships in good companies. Top recruiters from banks and some companies have come for recruiting, and most of the students got internships. Top roles like back office executive, etc. The highest package offered is 7 Lacs p.a., and the lowest was 4 Lacs p.a.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, classrooms, and library facilities are also available in the college, but no mess facility is there in this college. The canteen is there in the college, and everybody can afford the food provided in the college. There is also a sports academy in the college.
Faculty: Faculty members are helpful and very qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is very good, and every teacher interacts with the students very much. Semester exams are not difficult, but they are not so easy; you have to study hard to get good marks. Students also visit industries here. The passing percentage here is 33%.

Absolutely satisfied with the faculty, excellent library, nice infrastructure for sports, and a nice
Placements: Placement in this college is low because most of the students are preparing for professional courses. But a few students get placed in job roles like financial consultants, accountants in companies like TCS, and others. The average package was 8 LPA to 10 LPA.
Infrastructure: This college does not provide hostel facilities. Apart from this, the overall infrastructure is good. We have a common room for indoor games and a ground for football and cricket. The classroom size is enough for 50 students. They also provide a library and a computer lab.
Faculty: The faculty of the college is super supportive and helpful. They provide excellent education along with encouraging us to participate in extracurricular activities. The teaching style is so gentle that everyone wants to attend the class, even in the early morning.

Good faculty but very bad placement procedure.
Placements: Our college lacks a proper placement cell and procedure. Sometimes, a few job fairs are organized by our college, but only a few of our students are able to get any placement offer from there. The highest salary you can expect is 2 to 2.5 LPA. It is better to apply for off-campus jobs.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is not so great. The building is old and dusty. The classrooms are small and clumsy. Labs are there, but they lack a few important chemicals. We don't have a library on our campus. There is no hostel in our college, but we have a decent canteen behind our college.
Faculty: The curriculum of our course is really good as it follows the latest syllabus of Calcutta University. The faculty members are also good, but sometimes they are rude to the students. The semester exams in our college are not too hard, but you need to study thoroughly.
