My feedback and review about my college.
Placements: The percent of students placed is above 90 percent. The average package was INR 6 LPA. The highest package was INR 12 LPA. The lowest package was INR 4 LPA. The top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, Accenture, Capgemini, etc. The percent of students placed in internships at our companies is above 90 percent. The top roles in the companies are those of software engineers.
Infrastructure: The classroom and library are well-equipped with Wi-Fi facilities, and the library contains all kinds of books and other materials for students. The quality of food in the hostel is mostly average, and there are a variety of kinds of food available. There are various kinds of medical facilities available.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable. They make us understand the topics in a very easy way. Yes, the curriculum is relevant to our course, which provides all-round development. Yes, it makes them industry-ready. The semester is easy to pass.
Other: I chose this course because I was interested in engineering. They can make improvements to the syllabus and make it a little more updated.

Knowledgeable faculty members and good placements.
Placements: Almost 80% of the students from the final year's batch were placed in companies like Mahindra or TCS. The highest package offered was 4 Lacs per annum from TCS, lowest was 2 Lacs and average is 3 Lacs. Top roles offered are Software developer and AI developer.
Infrastructure: The labs are well managed, especially the Physics and Computer labs. The chemistry lab is not up to the mark. It needs maintenance. Overall, the hostel facility is good and the canteen’s food is also delicious. Sports facilities are not that good.
Faculty: Teachers were extremely helpful in clearing our doubts in every subject. The teaching quality is fair enough. The course curriculum for first years is not very relevant to make students industry ready. There's hardly any programming subject.
Other: I chose the course of Computer Science and Engineering because I'm passionate about programming and developing my skills to be ready for IT sector. They should focus more on the programming languages and concepts that are currently in use in industries. In terms of events, our college is extremely active and up going. The extracurricular activities including sports can improve.

Is Bangalore College of Engineering and Technology good for you?
Placements: Placement is decent, don't have your hopes too high since it's a private college. Placement cell is decent and is able to bring renowned companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, etc. Internship opportunities are available, but mostly you might have to look for off-campus internships. Around 50 percent of our batch got placed during the campus placement.
Infrastructure: Hostel infrastructure is very weak and unreliable. It's old and in dire need of maintenance. There is frequent water shortage and an unreliable internet connection, so mostly students prefer to live in private PGs or rent out a flat as a group in the Chandapura locality. Food and snacks are like any other hostel, good enough to survive till your next meal.
Faculty: Faculty members are a mix. While some are really good and supportive, there are others who have personal grudges with students and bully them for their marks. Teachers have good knowledge about the subjects they are teaching, and they keep the class engaged and interesting. College exams are easy to crack and are good enough to make you industry-ready and up-to-date with the skills required.
Other: I chose this college due to its affordable fees and its location in the IT hub of India (Bangalore). I hope to have more frequent industrial visits and workshops. Connectivity to the college is amazing with BMTC buses and will soon be connected to the Electronic City metro.

I am satisfied with this college.
Placements: All students are brilliant, and the average marks of all students for selection are 70%. The highest salary package offered is 18 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. The college is the best. Almost 75% of the students got an internship from our branch and went for well-established companies.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very good, and all facilities are available in our college. Wi-Fi is also available in our college. The hostel is very good, and the food provided in the hostel is also very good. All requirements like a library and playground are also well-maintained.
Faculty: The teaching quality of this college is very good. All the teachers are highly educated, and their teaching process is also very good. All teachers are very knowledgeable. All the teachers are clearing doubts of all students, and all students can easily understand what they are teaching.
Other: I have chosen this course because there is a demand for this course in the market.

College charges less fee and provides the same degree. Faculty are good but management is the worst.
Placements: Placements in the college are average, but since there is so much scope in Bangalore, it can be said that placements are excellent in Bangalore, i.e. in off-campus drives. The principal is supportive in academics as well as in placements. If you fulfil the proper criteria of placements, you will not leave the college without a job in the IT city Bangalore. At last, I would say that placements don't depend on college but rather on your knowledge and skills. If you are a knowledgeful engineer, then your demand will be at the peak in the market.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is average. The college has one building with 3 floors, and another new building is being constructed. The college provides all the facilities required for an engineering college. The college has good computer labs with about 200 systems provided. EGDL lab is well-equipped, and the chemistry, physics, and electrical labs are good. There was a playground available, but it was the worst. The campus is located in front of the railway station. There are no travel-related problems here. The college is good for study purposes, but rest of the facilities are average.
Faculty: Faculty members in the college are good. Each and every faculty member gives attention to every student. They clear the doubts in class and encourage students to meet them in their cabin if the latter faces any problem in solving questions. When I came here, I thought I was still in school because someone said that faculty members in college don't give heed on whether you have studied or not, but that is not the case here. Faculty members here give proper attention to students. I'm pursuing the bachelor of engineering (B.E.) course here, and the curriculum is prescribed by VTU. The main advantage of joining this college is that the fee here is very low as compared to other colleges in Bangalore. Bangalore is an IT city, and there is an environment of focus towards technology. Hence I suggest if you want to do engineering, then Bangalore is the best. Faculty members are good, but management is the worst.
Other: Bangalore is a name which explains itself in technology. The college fee structure is very less compared to other colleges in Bangalore. Another advantage is that you get a degree of VTU by studying in any college in Bangalore. So, there is no reason to spend more money on the same degree. If you are rich and have no financial problem, then choose RV, MS Ravaiya, BMS, etc. colleges. But if you are from a middle-class family, then you should take admission here.

A good college for the future generation.
Placements: I am a first-year student in this college. Faculty members are good, and the fee is very low when compared to other colleges. But placements totally depend on the students. If you are a good student and have different skills, you will definitely get placed in top companies in Bangalore through off-campus drives, and Bangalore is an IT hub. Faculty members here are very friendly with students, and they fulfil every need of students.
Infrastructure: The main thing about the infrastructure of our college is that it is full of greenery and there is plenty of water. The hostel is very big, and the hostel fee is Rs. 45,000 to Rs. 50,000 on an average with all the facilities. This college is behind the electronic city and far from the city, so there is no pollution. We have all the laboratories, and another new building is under construction.
Faculty: Every subject has good professors and lecturers. The overall faculty members are good, and all courses in BE like CSE, ECE, MEC, civil, ISE, and EEE are available. All of them have done masters in their subjects, and some have done PhDs in their subjects. Students don't have to worry about faculty members. There are four computer labs and a big spacious library.
Other: Karnataka students will get scholarships, and the fee structure of this college is very low compared to all the colleges in Bangalore.
