Review of Beant College of Engineering and Technology.

Placements: Almost 30-40% of the students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered is 5 LPA, the average salary package offered is 3 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA. Infosys is a top recruiting company for our course. Almost 50% of the students got an internship from our course in many companies like Infosys, SachTech Solution and other local companies. Programming is the top role in our course.

One of the best college for pursuing mechanical engineering in Punjab.

Placements: My seniors are placed in Metro Tyres, International Tractors Limited, Infosys, PepsiCo. Almost 45% of the students from every branch are placed, and the remaining are settled after their graduation. The lowest salary package offered is 1.12 lacs, and I'm not aware of the highest package.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of placements.

Placements: The college doesn't provide placements. None of the companies visited the college for placement for our batch. So, some students tried for themselves, and some of them went for higher studies. Same is the case for internships, as no company visited the college for internships. We did internships by ourselves.

Everything about BCET, Gurdaspur.

Placements: In Beant College of Engineering and Technology, the placement cell is average. The only bad thing it has is its placements. Only a few people in the staff care about the student's placement. The placement is the most important thing in every college, but the BCET do not provide a proper fund. The only thing I hate is the placements in BCET.

The placement rate of mechanical is higher than the other branches

Placements: In the case of civil engineering, the batch is recently started. I am in the first batch of the civil branch of Beant College of Engineering and Technology started in 2016. We really hope that highly reputed companies will be called up for the placement.

Good infrastructure, good college life. Absolutely dissatisfied because of poor placements.

Placements: Student placement is almost nill because no ECE company visited the college this year. Last year, our 25% seniors were placed because many companies visited the college. They got an average package of Rs. 2,40,000. The highest package was Rs. 3,60,000 and the lowest package was Rs. 1,80,000.

Good college located in a backward area.

Placements: Very bad placement record. No MNC or Indian companies visit for the drive. Students have to manage at their own level. Some of the small institutes visit for the campus placements but they hire for very less money and thus placement record is very poor.

Dissatisfied from the placement cell.

Placements: The placements are nothing here. Some companies visited, but they all are low-level companies. They only recruit 3-4 students and pay 10-16 thousand per months as salary, and no one got the internship from college and hence, no stipend offered during training. The placement cell was not doing any effort to place the students.

Disappointing placements in 2015.

Placements: From the placement point of view, my college is not so good because this is a government college and the companies prefer private colleges instead of the government ones. However, few companies visit the college like Videocon, Trigent, Eclarx, etc. Few students got placed in Trigent at the package of 4 lakhs per anum. On the other hand, in join campus placement many students got placed in top MNCs like Tech Mahindra, TCS, Infosys etc. Overall, the placement of our college is disappointing. ...

This is an average college. All the faculty members are good as well. College fees is very nominal. Campus infrastructure is pretty decent and it provides separate boys and girls hostel. It is a good college as comparison to other private and government colleges in Punjab.

Pros: *It has NBA accreditation, is AICTE approved running successfully for more than 15 years. * It is a govt. college funded by govt. of Punjab. A college where one can surely pursue a classical chemical engineering, with good facilities only if you know how to grab things. A simple atmosphere to live in, wonderful campus, good labs. One can excel from this place but only if one actually wants to do it. If you are willing there will be a lot of brilliant minds to help you.

It is not so good college to complete B.Tech.

Placements: Placements for our batch were not good as 3 to 4 students got placed with low salary packages and the same was for our senior batch also. Above 65% was required to be eligible for placements. Companies that visited our campus were Zap Build and Sumicro System. Roles offered to students were like an analyst, data handling, etc. Students who qualified for the exam conducted by companies will get internships. But you can't get internship easily as companies that visited were below average. Stipend ...
