Satisfied with the college. Recommended.
Placements: In recent years, very few placements have taken place. Few were from sales and insurance backgrounds. It is recommended to look for jobs outside and not be dependent on college campuses. The college has M.Sc. facilities as well in a few subjects. Interested people can opt for it.
Infrastructure: The library and labs are well-equipped. Canteen food is fine. The basketball court is the main attraction in the common room. No hostel is there. It is a day in college. No Wi-Fi is there. Big, airy classrooms are there. B.Sc. in math had C programming in the curriculum, due to which we needed desktops. Good facilities provide programming knowledge in this course.
Faculty: Good faculty with knowledge regarding the latest courses in demand and guiding through them. Regular practice works; a logical approach to problems enhances thinking skills. Semester exams were conducted as per university guidelines. Teachers are well qualified.
Other: The college has its own garden and pond. It's a scenic view from the classrooms. Organizing cultural events in Holi, Saraswathi puja, etc. The college has its own stationary shop with affordable rates.

It's worth it. Faculty is supportive.
Placements: The placement rate here is nearly 80 to 85 percent. Students are eligible for placements after 4th semester companies like Wipro, Fizer, Reliance, etc. This year, around 20 students got their internships, and this year the highest package went to 20 lacs per annum, followed by the lowest package of 4 lacs.
Infrastructure: The college campus is decent there's a pond inside the campus, a basketball court, and a separate ground for other outdoor sports canteens. Drinking water is available. There's an AC library and quite a small seminar hall. Air-conditioned classrooms and separate common rooms for girls and boys are there.
Faculty: Most teachers are over 50 years old, which shows their experience. The teachers are highly qualified and friendly, and the way they perceive the students creates a confident student. In my opinion, the structure is good, the fundamentals are strong, and it creates a knowledgeable student, which turns into an asset for society. The semester exams aren't difficult, as if you have attended classes regularly and the concept is clear, then there's no need to worry .

infrastructure and facilities are good.
Placements: I’m currently pursuing Zoology Honours at Behala College, which is under Calcutta University. To be honest, work in this college is slow. However, based on earlier studies and meetings with alumni, a significant number of students have gone out of the city to continue their studies in M.Sc. I’m in my second year now, and since last year, I’ve learned that to secure a placement, you need to work on improving your skills alongside your studies. This is first time the NEP (New Education Policy) has been introduced to our batch, which focuses more on developing market-ready skills than on bookish, theory-based candidates applying for jobs.
Infrastructure: We have separate common rooms for boys and girls. A good thing about this college is that we have many buildings with different departments for studying, as well as a huge garden with a pond used for botanical studies and relaxation during breaks. I don’t live in the hostel as it is near my house, but unfortunately, our college doesn’t provide any hostels. However, I have seen many PGs around our campus. Food in mess is good quality, and classrooms are well-organised with Wi-Fi connections.
Faculty: Faculty members are sometimes very helpful, but most of the time, they don't spend much time assisting us. However, they do help when we approach them. Semester exams are a major focus here. Students concentrate on clearing each semester, making them industry-ready. Semesters can be tough for those who don’t take notes, as teachers share many notes and PDFs in the WhatsApp group. Our college also has its website where PDFs for specific classes of respective departments are uploaded. It is the only college in Kolkata with an A+ NAAC grade.
Other: I would like to add that we have a huge library with air conditioning installed, as well as teachers for football and basketball. Basketball players are mostly recognized, as we have a basketball court for playing. Freshers' is also a big event for welcoming juniors, and many famous singers are invited every year.

Some students have gained good ranks in Calcutta University.
Placements: Average package is about 15,000 INR. This course can help to improve the knowledge in foods and diet plans in different fields. Passing out students can apply in food industry, hospitals, etc. Teachers are very humble, kind and supportive. In the last semester, we learnt about hospitals, diet plans, etc. via internships.
Infrastructure: The college provides biochemistry lab, nutrition lab, library, canteen, grade, medical facilities and all the necessary things to us. They help us to arrange many course related programs and webinars. The college arranges educational tours too.
Faculty: All the teachers are very much educated, supportive, kind and helpful to the students. They give proper practical and theoretical classes to the students and clear all the doubtful questions. After finishing any chapter, they take exams or during classes, they ask simple questions to improve our knowledge. They provide questions and notes related with the chapter.
Other: The college arranges nutrition week, webinars, career counseling programs, annual day sports, saraswati puja, etc. It provides government scholarships too.

There was a good infrastructure and good education system at Behala College.
Placements: Almost 70% of students were placed in this course. The highest salary offered was Rs.90,000 and the lowest salary offered was 25,000. Recruiting companies were Bandhan Bank, ICICI Bank, Lambert, TCS, and Muthoot Finance. Almost 80% of students get internships every year. M.Sc in Chemistry course was also available in this college.
Infrastructure: Labs in our college were well mentioned and well-equipped. Wi-Fi was available (24/7), and classrooms were well-equipped and clean. The library was in a very good condition and the library also provided digital support to every student. There was no hostel for students on campus. The canteen food was good and hygienic. A basketball ground was available on the college premises.
Faculty: Teachers in our college were very helpful, highly qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality was excellent. Students were partially industry-ready. Lots of curriculum activities were performed every year. Semester exams were moderately tough and were suitable for the university syllabus. The pass percentage was 98%.
Other: Chemistry is a subject which can give you the assurance of any job after your course. Lab experience was most important for a future job. Nothing to improve. The facilities were too much enough for this course. Fest, annual sports, annual kite festivals, etc., were organised every year. Students can get every eligible scholarship with the help of college authorities.

Our college is good. All facilities are available; you can take admission here.
Placements: There are 6 students in my course. Placements are available but not very good, approximately 3 LPA. Some companies visit our college for internships or placements. On our college website, there is a placement cell where you can register for more information about our college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our department is good. Wi-Fi and AC are also available. The library is good, and you can find any books related to your course. However, there is no hostel or mess, but there is a canteen available, and sports and games are offered, allowing you to play and compete with others.
Faculty: In our department, teachers are very helpful, and you can discuss anything with them without any hesitation. The teachers always try to give their best to the students and focus on the concepts of mathematics. The semester examinations are a little difficult, so you must study to pass.
Other: I chose this college because of my course. All events occur during our college fest and extracurricular activities. Scholarships are also available in our college, but only for West Bengal students, not for those from other states.
