BSET's mechanical diploma offers excellent placement, a strong curriculum, and supportive faculty.
Placements: Approximately 50% of the students in my course secured placements. In my course, the group achieved an average score that was 1.3 points below the minimum threshold and 3.6 points below the highest standard at the beginning of Bajaj Company and Tata Motors Company. Most of the students in my course secured internships with Tata Motors. My course role is to assemble engine parts.
Infrastructure: Since I did not stay in the hostel during my course, I am unable to provide any personal insights or feedback regarding the facilities or experiences associated with hostel life. However, I understand that hostel environments can significantly impact student experiences, fostering community and providing essential support for academic pursuits. Many students often share that living in hostels helps them build lifelong friendships, develop independence, and manage their time more effectively. If you have specific questions or need general information about hostel life, I’d be happy to help with that!
Faculty: Our instructor was highly experienced and presented the material in a clear and accessible manner. His teaching style emphasized simplicity, making complex concepts easier to understand. This approach fostered an engaging learning environment, encouraging students to ask questions and actively participate. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant as it covers current industry trends and skills. It effectively prepares students for real-world challenges through practical experiences and projects.
Other: I chose the mechanical diploma because of my passion for engineering and problem-solving. The best aspects are hands-on experience and the strong foundation it provides for a career in diverse industries. I wish there were more industry collaboration and internship opportunities to enhance practical learning.
