Review of Bhai Gurdas College of Law (BGCL Sangrur).
Placements: There are no placements on-campus. Students are assigned to an advocate practicing in the district courts for internships. There are two types of courses, like 5 years course for high school, and 3-years course for graduates. Many students have cracked judicial exams from this college.
Infrastructure: This college is not huge. Our college does not provide hostels. The building is well maintained with 3-storey. Stationery is also available. The food served in the canteen is good. Classrooms are spacious. There is a huge moot court where students practice. The library is well-stocked with books, journals, magazines, newspapers, and encyclopedias.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and well-experienced in their respective fields. All of them are Ph.D. scholars. This college is affiliated with Punjabi University, Patiala. Our course curriculum is relevant. Semester exams are average, and the pass percentage is 80%.
Other: I chose this course because I want to pursue a career as an advocate. This course is based on practice. Our campus is small. Extra curricular activities are not conducted.

It is not a good college to join.
Placements: The placement statistics are not very good in the college. After graduating from here, some students start practising as apprentice lawyers in the courts, and some go for other competitive examinations like bank exams or judiciary exams. While others do B.Ed., and go to the teaching line. Overall, the college does not provide many opportunities and placements. Only 10-15 students from the entire batch are successful in their lives after studying from here.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is not much developed. The classrooms are very old and not so well designed. There is no Wi-Fi facility in the college, and no labs are available as it is an arts college. The library is quite okay, and there are a variety of books on all subjects. There is no hostel in the college.
Faculty: The teachers in our college are not so good. They just want to complete the syllabus and rush away. The teachers are not so qualified. The course curriculum is relevant, and we study Indian law, but I really can't say it's industry-relevant because there are not many opportunities in the law field. The semester exams are not difficult, and the questions are directly from the textbook. The pass percentage is about 70%.

I am satisfied because of the faculty members and internships provided in the last two years.
Placements: Some students get placed from our college. About 80% of students got advocate position, while some students or only 1% of students become judge also. B.A LL.B is a 5-year course, and rather if we do B.A LL.B separately, then it takes about 6 years. So, choosing B.A LL.B is the right decision.
Infrastructure: There is a library from where we get books for study. There is a canteen also where we can sit in our free time, and there is a photocopy shop, so there is no hassle to get a photocopy urgently. Good food is available in the canteen. There is a hostel also for students who come from far away places like from other districts or other states.
Faculty: Teachers here are well educated, hardworking and very helpful. Notes are provided from time to time. Semester exams are a little bit difficult, but with the help of teachers, it becomes easy with their regular guidance and motivation. In the last two years of B.A LL.B course, you get an internship in district court under best advocate.
Other: Youth fest is organised in Bhai Gurdas Engineering College where we can get the permission to go out of the college. Overall, this college is good for study but not good for entertainment like other colleges.

It is the place to bring out your talents.
Placements: The course is not related to any type of placements because it's a legal course. So I can't say anything about placements. In this field, one has to practice for some time in courts before getting placed. After practising the students have a lot of options to decide from.
Infrastructure: I would rate 80 out of 100 for the infrastructure of the college. Classrooms are air-conditioned, which is a plus point. There are separate chairs for each student are very comfortable, and the vision to the blackboard from every angle of the classroom is very good. Overall the infrastructure is good.
Faculty: This is the plus point of the college. Every teacher of the college is highly qualified, and they know everything about their job. Many teachers use unique and helpful methods while teaching so that the students can understand everything. The curriculum is up to the mark, and it makes the students ready for practising after completing their course.
Other: I came to know about this college from one of my friend who studied from this college. The campus is very good. The college has a basketball court. There is a huge parking space, so parking was never an issue. The library is equipped with Wi-Fi and computers, so one can use that if they require. Staff members are very cooperative and helpful. The connectivity to the nearest cities is very good.

The best law college and a good atmosphere.
Placements: It does not provide any placement, but the way they provide knowledge, and the atmosphere you will be studying in will make you ready to be picked by any company or to work at any job. Another great thing is that teachers are always there for you, you will never listen a "no" from them.
Infrastructure: There is good infrastructure according to the line you have adopted. A fully packed library with all case records and a good canteen are available. The most amazing thing is that the college is a good knowledge provider and a good studying atmosphere. The simplicity of infrastructure will make you a study-friendly person.
Faculty: The faculty are the best, and you cannot imagine it better than what it is. It is very wisely arranged course. You will be fully packed with knowledge after completing it, and will also be easy for your profession. You will get to listen to life experiences relating to course or profession.
Other: A good atmosphere, helping teachers, motivates the students to take part in other activities too.

Studywise, the college is good. The faculty members are helpful and had good nature.
Placements: The placement depends upon the efficiency of the student. If a student is hardworking and sincere in his/her work, then he/she can get clients and cases easily. Lawyers, who study the cases in detail along with the knowledge of books and recent cases, get the clients with their efficiency.
Infrastructure: The classrooms of the college are spacious and air-conditioned. Proper ventilation is provided to the children. The library of the college remains up-to-date with magazines, newspapers, recent judgements, case laws, AIR, etc. The food in the canteen is of good quality. It is spacious, and photostat facility is also available in the canteen.
Faculty: The teachers of the college are well-qualified and keep themselves as well as student up to date and give complete knowledge of recent case laws and judgements. They are helpful. The teachers provide all the notes in the canteen. In case of any difficulty in any matter, they always help the children.
Other: In extracurricular activities, the students take part in seminar and conferences held at the college and university also. Overall, the campus surroundings are good.
