Review of Bhai Gurdas College of Law (BGCL Sangrur).

Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and well-experienced in their respective fields. All of them are Ph.D. scholars. This college is affiliated with Punjabi University, Patiala. Our course curriculum is relevant. Semester exams are average, and the pass percentage is 80%.

It is not a good college to join.

Faculty: The teachers in our college are not so good. They just want to complete the syllabus and rush away. The teachers are not so qualified. The course curriculum is relevant, and we study Indian law, but I really can't say it's industry-relevant because there are not many opportunities in the law field. The semester exams are not difficult, and the questions are directly from the textbook. The pass percentage is about 70%.

I am satisfied because of the faculty members and internships provided in the last two years.

Faculty: Teachers here are well educated, hardworking and very helpful. Notes are provided from time to time. Semester exams are a little bit difficult, but with the help of teachers, it becomes easy with their regular guidance and motivation. In the last two years of B.A LL.B course, you get an internship in district court under best advocate.

It is the place to bring out your talents.

Faculty: This is the plus point of the college. Every teacher of the college is highly qualified, and they know everything about their job. Many teachers use unique and helpful methods while teaching so that the students can understand everything. The curriculum is up to the mark, and it makes the students ready for practising after completing their course.

The college provides no sports, no cultural activities, no annual parties, no competitions, no tours or trips. It treats us like we are studying in school. The faculty is top class, but the administration is bad, as students are not allowed to take part in any games or other activities or inter-college sports, or other festivals at the university.
