Review of Bhai Parmanand Institute of Business Studies.
Placements: Around 50% of students in our college got placed. The highest package offered is around 8 LPA, and the average package is around 3-4 LPA. All the companies are moderate. There are no top recruiting companies. They provide some courses that you have to complete to get an internship.
Infrastructure: Moderate facilities are available on this campus. Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms and library are available in our college. There is no hostel in our college. They are not providing any hostel facility. You can go for PG rooms. There is no canteen in the college.
Faculty: All the faculty members are helpful. If you have any doubt or are stuck anywhere, you can go and ask for their help. All are qualified and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is good enough. Semester exams are not much difficult, and you can easily clear all the semester exams if you study well.
Other: After completing your Bachelor's, you have to go for a master's to get good knowledge or learn more about tech fields. The fests are organised by our university (GGSIPU).

I am satisfied because of fees and infrastructure, no on-campus placements but very good faculty.
Placements: About 70% of students are placed. However not on-campus placements, students had to depend on off-campus. The highest salary package has gone from 8 LPA, whereas the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. TCS, Capgemini, Infosys, and Accenture have been the top recruiting companies. Around 50% of students got internships in different companies or training organisations. DevOps engineer and software developer are top roles offered in this course.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is very good. The classrooms are neat and clean. There are air-conditioned rooms with Wi-Fi facility available. Computer labs are very big. Library is also very huge with lots of material. Although the campus is small, the overall infrastructure is up to the mark. There is a sports room also where you can play carrom, table tennis, and arm wrestling.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are very qualified. Teachers are quite helpful. They will help you regarding projects and other works. All the teachers are kind towards students. This course is a professional course which is very relevant in IT industry. MCA is equivalent to B.Tech (CS/IT). Exams are not so difficult if you study and understand the concept properly. The passing percentage of the college is almost 95%.
Other: I chose MCA as I wanted to pursue a professional degree that would open my door to the IT industry. This course contains basic to professional study regarding computer science subjects which can make you a good software engineer. More practical seminars should be conducted in this course. This college often organises fests and events, but since the corona outbreak, all the events have been shifted to virtual platform. Crowd campus is not much and a very peaceful environment is there in the college. Scholarship is also available for EWS students in PG and merit-cum-scholarship is available for UG candidates.

It is the best place to learn and earn, and the right place to lead students' future.
Placements: As this is a government college, and there were no specific training and placements in charge who dedicated to this work. Placements were low. It would be nearly 15-20% of the total headcount. The average salary package offered ranges from 2.05 LPA to 2.80 LPA. The internships were being given in a few companies like Vodafone, Aon-Noida, etc.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi was not working on the campus. Even there was a Jio-Fi network available but no use. The classroom was well maintained and fully furnished with good technology. The best part of this college was the library. There were plenty of books available which can be used at any time. The library management was very well and it was fully automated. There was no hostel for this college and no mess as well. There was a private vendor who used to run the cafeteria. Limited items were being served here.
Faculty: Teachers were very helpful and supportive. But the major drawback was that there were only 7 teachers who used to teach all the subjects. Even they were specified not in all the subjects, even though they use to teach all subjects. The course curriculum was relevant. As the syllabus was being provided by IP University, and they use to finish 60% of the syllabus. The remaining syllabus was being completed by the student on their own. Semesters exams were not very difficult as students all know the pattern of examination that IP university takes. So it was good to clear the semester. Faculty members try their best to conduct the interviews by the local companies of Noida.
Other: As students know this was a government college, so its fee structure was low in comparison to other IPU colleges. The annual fee was Rs 60,000, and the overall fee of MCA was 1,80,000 which was very much low than the private colleges. I opted for this course as I wanted to continue my career in the IT sector, as information technology was boom these days. I did BCA in graduation so I continued to this course. The thing I want to improve in this college was faculty members. Faculty members and training and placements cells should be improved and function well. There was a festival or fest named amogh which was being celebrated in March every year, which was joyful and cheerful. There was a scholarship for EWS i.e economic weaker section students, which used to give relaxation in tuition fee by some percentage. It was well connected by metro. The nearest metro station is Nirman Vihar metro station. The nearest place to shop was Laxmi Nagar and V3S mall. In extra activities, there used to be a fest for sports day, some seminars, competitions, etc.

Overall, it is a good college for masters.
Placements: There is no focus on the campus placements. This college is good for only those students who want to study, without any tension of on-campus placements. Almost 65 students enroll every year in the MCA department. All the teachers are well qualified and experienced.
Infrastructure: There are no hostel facilities on the campus. A library is available with limited books. One plus point is that the college comes under the government of NCT and is affiliated with GGSIPU. They conduct many events like digital marketing, yoga day celebration etc.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful in terms of studies and other formalities. The teaching quality is good. The management is good. They only follow the university syllabus. No other industry knowledge is provided to the students. All other things totally depend upon you.
