An average college with good infrastructure but very low placements.

Placements: Seniors as well as this batch (2016) placements were very low. In fact less than 5%. Mainly companies come for CS and IT branch. TCS came in and took students in bulk with avg CTC around 2.5 Lacs from different branches. Student were dependent on thereselves only for internship. Placement cell is there but hardly useful.

This is moreover like a school, and I didn't feel like I am in a college.

Placements: Only CSE students get placed on the campus, and the students of other branches like civil or mechanical are not even thinking that they could get placed, and they already started preparing for the various competitive exams. This is the reason that the final year students never go to college as they just prepare on their own.

Try harder for JEE so that you don't get state college.

Placements: There is very less chance that you get placed directly from college. No power plant company hire directly. No other internship programme or tech activities are promoted by college superiors. Most of student go for TCS as there unwillingful option. So don't hurry and one more time for JEE.

Best in the state with amazing faculty and environment.

Placements: You can't expect much from placements here. Average is around 3.8lakh pa but we have recently got NBA and Naac accreditation which is attracting many companies. GATE is something for which many prepare to secure their future. 2017 was down with placements as compared to early positive statistics.

It is the best technical Institute in Central India.

Placements: Every year, many companies visit the college for placements. Last year, companies like Indian Navy, Abuja Cements, C-Core Pvt Ltd., etc., have visited the campus. The highest salary offered is about 6 Lacs this year, and the average salary is from 3 to 3.5 Lacs per annum.

Faculty members are good but placements have disappointed this very year.

Placements: Average placements and that too for CSE/IT stream. Core branches hardly get placed through college placements. Some companies that come gave 2-3 LPA and job profile isn't anything related to engineering rather have profile of a BPO or sales manager.

Overall, it is a good college if you don't get NIT, Raipur.

Placements: Overall, the placements here are better than other colleges. The companies like TCS, Infosys, ICICI, and various other companies come for placements. There was 28% placement in mechanical in 2016. In our senior batch, around 308 students got placed through the campus placements.

Infrastructure, campus, facilities are good but communication with different faculties is a problem.

Placements: Placement in bit is not a cup of tea. You need to work to get that. What I have seen for my seniors is quite good. Before them I. e. their seniors were not placed. Only selected students who performed very well were called for interview. And further there were selections. Out of which only 1 or 2 were selected. But in current batch more students were placed as compared to them. The highest package was 5.5 lacks and the lowest was 2.5 lacks. Students also do internship from different areas in dif...

Small nice and all were good.

Placements: Our batch was nice but unity was less as compared to our seniors. I think our seniors were very less placed than our batch. The highest salary was 3.5 Lacs p. a. , the lowest salary was 1.2 Lacs p. a. Role was of software developer associate and no internship was there.

The placements and salary are good. Infrastructure is developing. The teaching pattern is a must.

Placements: The college is well-renowned in Chhattisgarh which gives good placement chances for their students. Mainly, many students get placement in various companies with good packages. It is mainly assured a chance of getting placement in our college.

Dissatisfied because of bad placement, bad living condition, no industrial exposure.

Placements: For the mechanical engineers, no I should say for the core branches placement is pathetic, only software's will visit the college that too rarely. So do not depend upon the college, instead prepare for the competitive exams like GATE CAT etc. During my last year only one core company called for written test and then interview that too in Bhopal and no one was selected. Then comes TCS company which took 18 students only but the college stats are 90% students are placed. The average salary is 2.5 ...

BIT, Durg is one of the top most private colleges in central India with NAAC accredited A++.

Placements: All major IT companies come to our college for campus placement. Our TPO makes sure that all the students get proper chance to get into campus placement. It is the top-most college of Chhattisgarh, so many companies visit here such as TCS, Wipro, Infosys, etc.

The best in CG. Economical and better college than other expensive and overrated private colleges.

Placements: The placements in BIT these days have gone low. This is the only point where I think my college lags. Most of the people apply for off-campus drives and get well placed. Though now, the standards are improved as we've received various certification from NAAC and other organizations. So, decent companies may visit the college now.

All in all I want to say that if you are in Chhattisgarh choose for BIT DURG only.

Placements: Mainly on campus drive are being organized by software firm. There are total 60 students in my senior batch in which only 16 are placed, this all just because majority of crowd are preparing for GATE. Mainly the company provides a salary ranging 2.5L -4.5L.

Good to be part of the college.

Placements: The placements are from small private companies and generally offer up to 3 LPA. They are good for starting the career. Companies from the local names are generally located in metro cities, and there are different types of roles. Basically, all are from trusted companies and programming fields.

Complete Review of BIT, Raipur.

Placements: Placements are very good in our college as far as the packages are concerned. In previous 5 to 6 months at least 15 companies have arrived for campus drive. Those were ISO certified companies and each of them had very good market cap. Placement in those companies were very good opportunities for students which would help them in their career growth.

Placements: Mostly CSE and IT students of the college get a job on the campus placements. The ratio of placements is a very low as there are no placements for civil students. A few core companies visit the college for all the branches, and there is less guidance about internships programme. There is also no industry visit programme from the college side to students.

Placements are average, but they make you capable of being placed in any organization.

Placements: I was placed in Merchant Navy Company-Alpha 9. They have good placement for CS students. There is a separate placement cell which works consistently as they provide classes for aptitude, reasoning, and personality development. The mechanical students are placed in many PSU after graduating from the college.

Good college but it only supports academics.

Placements: There were many companies which arrived for the placements. In our college, the minimum package offered by the companies was 2 LPA to 2.5 LPA. In the survey of my batch and my seniors batch, around 60 percent students got placed in this campus drives, which is good.
