Placements: On a scale of 5, I will give this college 1 out of 5. The placement is very poor. Only 15 to 20 students are placed in a batch with an average package of 3 LPA. The highest package offered in this year was 4.8 LPA. So, if you are planning to get placed through UG courses, this college is not for you.
Placements: Ther are no placements provided as we were the first batch of this college. Still, struggling with the career as my father is not that rich who can provide me more money after spending Rs. 7 Lakhs in this college for no reason. I don't know the conditions nowadays in this institution, but I regret doing engineering here.
Placements: The placements for my senior batch are not that good, but they can get average packages like Rs. 4 lakhs to Rs. 5 lakhs. The highest package offered is Rs. 8 lakhs per annum. 80% to 90% of the students got the internship from this college. It is very useful for us because it helps in our future jobs. Lastly, I want to say that Bhilai Institute of Technology, Durg is the best college in central India.
Placements: During my time, the placements were pathetic. The core companies were few, we had to apply for IT companies. In my batch, almost 80% of the students were not placed. It seems like now they have improved a lot. They didn't focus on the internships. You need to take it by yourself which becomes difficult for some at that time. Now internship and similar portals would have made the life easier.
Placements: The placement and job opportunity are at a high level in our college as compared to another engineering in Chhattisgarh. The maximum average package in our college goes to 5 lakhs per annum. The companies like TCS, Sail, Infosys, and many companies have been visited in our college so far.
Placements: Only TCS company visit with limited offer seats, there is no guarantee of placements, even the maximum students with good marks don't get the jobs in this college. It fails to provide the placements. There is no scope for the placement in this college, and it keeps showing old history where once upon a time a company came kind of thing.
Placements: Generally, the companies visiting here are of computer science/IT domain. So the students other than these branches find it hard to get themselves placed. Some of the companies visiting here for placements are TCS, Infosys, Webdunia, etc. The highest package offered is around 6 lakhs pa.while the average package goes around 3-4 lakhs pa with TCS being the mass recruiter.
Placements: The placements were nice. Companies like TCS and Tech Mahindra have taken many students. Students from this college are getting jobs easily. Many students easily get placed in the companies. The companies also offer a good salary to the students. The companies allow the students to get business awareness too.
Placements: Placements are okay here. Students get placed in companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, etc. Around 3-4 LPA is the average salary offered. There are a few open placement opportunities also provided by the college. The placement opportunities are for every branch and like mechanical branch had the highest package of 6 LPA.
Placements: The placements are pretty good, most of the seniors have been placed in different companies. Even off-campus interviews are available. The campus is visited by Indian Navy and Indian Army for placement. Every student is allotted a mentor so that they can overcome any issue.
Placements: The first and the foremost thing about the placement in the college is that they are not going to bring any big companies for recruitment. The companies which are going to come, are only for back-end support. You won't get any placement assistance, which the management clearly lags. TCS and Capgemini are the only significant ones, that will visit here and also they have their own criteria. These companies conduct recruitment which is open to all colleges, so you are going to face a lot of competi...
Placements: The placements opportunities in our college are good but not the best. The companies for the students in management department are good, but for the engineering department, the maximum package offered is 4 to 7 LPA which is quite good for someone who wants a job of normal salary. And if you want more, then go for the higher studies. The companies that visit the college are only around 10 to 18, not much. Last year, the number of students got selected for the companies is also moderate, only 157 ...
Placements: The placements were at par for the course I opted. 80% of the students from my course got the placements, but overall, the placements at the college level did not perform well. Out of the 600 students in my batch, nearly 350 students got placed, but given the market downturn and locality, this was the best performance for all the institutes in Chattishgarh, but of course, after NIT Raipur. The highest salary offered was around 6 lakhs per annum and the lowest offer was 2 lakhs per annum. ...
Placements: TCS, Infosys and Accenture are the frequent companies to take up students. Average package was 3-5 lacs. It has a closed campus i.e. no other college can participate in campus selections. Mechanical, civil, etc. (non-core) have very less placement chances, although TCS takes almost every student with an average package of 3 LPA (2016). It dropped to 2.5 LPA in 2017. The highest package was scored by a girl (off-campus) at 9 LPA.
Placements: BIT Durg is second only to NIT Raipur in placements for engineering in Chhattisgarh. With a long-standing relationship with TCS, SAP and other companies, placements are comparatively healthy in an otherwise competitive market especially taking into account that IT companies are a scarcity in central India. There is a dedicated faculty-run placement cell for the college and majority of placements are concentrated in the IT sector. Although few companies for civil, electronics, electrical and mech...
Placements: Placement, especially in the civil branch, is not good. Out of 65 students, some 6-7 students got placed in companies like L&T or any other private sector company with an average package of Rs. 3-4 lakhs per annum. As for internship, our college gives a one-month holiday for internship after the 4th and 6th semester and the companies have to be chosen by us only.
Placements: As compared to other colleges in Raipur, BIT invites more companies to visit the college. Generally, the placement starts from the month of September. i.e. from the 7th semester only. Placements are good. Last year, particularly for the CSE branch, 90% students got selected. Companies like TCS, AQ, Persistent, etc visited. The TPO department is great they do everything possible to get good companies in our college.
Placements: The placement opportunity was good. Earlier, civil companies use to come but since 2-3 years, there are no companies for civil. The average package is 2 lakhs and the maximum would be 5 lakhs. Good opportunities are there for pre-final students to join Indian Army and final year students to join Indian Navy.
Placements: The placements are not that good. Only a few companies visit the campus and recruit a very less number of students. The campus placement is a very tough job. You have to depend on GATE. Highest salary - around 5 to 6 lakhs per annum. Average salary - around 2 to 4 lakhs per annum.
