It is the Best College of Chhattisgarh. Faculty members are well qualified. Teaching technique is also too good. College provides a good living facility in college campus itself. It was a very good experience of mine being in this college. All the necessary places are very nearby to the college. Durg railway station is just 2 kms from the campus.

BIT, Durgapur has an impressive academic building but a small campus with no outdoor playground. Classrooms are comfortable. Professors are strict about academics. Canteen offers variety in veg and rates are economical. Campus placements see not more than 10 companies visiting. Fee structure is also ok. First year environment is like that of a school.

It is a very good college in terms of placement and infrastructure. It offers many courses like MBA, MCA, and M.tech. It is near not far away from main city. It also provides gym and hostel facility for boys and girls. Wi-Fi for all students and faculty. Food was delicious in the mess.

The college is average. Campus is good with playgrounds for outdoor games. Attendance norms are strict. All the labs required are there with good lab attendants. But don't expect much from the college. You have to work hard on your own. Number 1 college in Chhattisgarh state after NIT Raipur. Can't rely on the college for placements with good salary.

Best in the state but lacks some management facilities. Faculties are good crowd is quite nice priority after iit and nit is given to this college. Campus misses a good cafeteria which can be a good place to hang out. It has the best auditorium in the state (in Colleges). Inter Branch sports are one of the best thing happens here. These include football, cricket, basketball, volleyball and kabaddi for girls. Good facility for sports as it has a big nice playing ground not many college have. Coll...

Not good enough to be called an engineering institution. Teachers there speaks to students as they are labors and not students. University sucks. I recommend that no one should join this institution or any institute under CSVTU. They threat students because they have sessional in their hands. Students here come to study but with foul tone used by faculties becomes a big time trouble for students. It’s only a money making factory for the trusties like IP Mishra. They don't even check the educatio...

Well it’s a state level college. So you can’t expect much from it. I can say that BIT is not worth its name. Faculty - Only few faculties are average (not good). Other faculties lack the basic knowledge of the subjects they teach. Infrastructure - The College has good infrastructure but it lacks in basic facilities like very poor quality food in canteen etc. Management - The management of BIT is good. Placements - The most important thing. Placements in BIT are slow these days. Only a handful st...

BIT-Durg is one of the top ranked colleges in central India. It has a very good infrastructure and environment. Top faculty members are working in this institute who take care of the students, not only in their academics but also personally. It has very good nurturing skills which developed me as a person and overall, I can say what I am today, is because of my college.

Established in the Year 1986, Bhilai Institute of Technology is the best college for engineering aspirants in central India. Students get a very healthy atmosphere to learn and interact here. The best thing about the college is its experienced team of faculty members. BIT is equipped with a fully computerized library, functioning on the basis of an 'open access' system. Almost all big companies come for campus placements. I am an ex-BIT student and working with Hewlett-Packard, Bangalore.

Bhilai Institute of Technology-Durg popularly known as BIT-Durg and frequently confused with BITS (Birla Institute of Technology) is considered one of the best college in the state of Chhattisgarh, India. Let me start with the place and its nearby areas. The city of Durg is a small place 40Km from the capital city of Raipur, with absolutely bad roads and costumer preference services. Do not expect a shop to open up before 11AM and after 10PM. If you find one, its because either its one of its ki...

It’s nice to be in Bhilai Institute of Technology. Some faculty members are very supportive but some are very rude and try to demotivate. They say you will get placement from college but it’s untrue. In this year there is no campus drive in the college. Teaching quality is good but they aren’t able to complete the course in time.

College Campus was very nice with all the modern facilities available and worth studying. The library of the college is pretty awesome and you would find a green campus. The faculties are very nice and gives the right direction to the students. The college is located in a very good area within 1 km from railway station and within 3 kms from Durg Bus stand.

The faculty members of the college are well qualified. The laboratories of the college are well equipped but the lab classes are not so interactive and are not given much importance. The campus is so green and it has a good environment. I do not suggest to choose this college for doing engineering you can try in other state but if you want to study in Chhattisgarh then this is best option for you as this is the best college of Chhattisgarh.

Whatever I have learnt in 4 years is from my peers. I would not recommend this college to anyone who seeks an extra ordinary placement and campus life. The city is dull and to excel, one has to go out his way. The place is advantageous when it comes to study as there are no distractions of that of a metro city.

A good college if you care for studies. Teachers of my department are very talented, some teachers are below average. If you want to study in C.G. and have a very tight economic condition at home, then this is the best available option for you. Companies from the core sector do come but take a very few number of students with them. Connectivity is very well, be it by road, railways or by air. C.G. offers you 24 hours of electricity supply. Talking about safety concerns, I can assure you that C.G...
