Placements: The placements are not that good. Only a few companies visit the campus and recruit a very less number of students. The campus placement is a very tough job. You have to depend on GATE. Highest salary - around 5 to 6 lakhs per annum. Average salary - around 2 to 4 lakhs per annum.
Placements: Nowadays, placements are not as per expectation but maximum students from computer science, electronics and communication and information technology branch are being placed. The average package of students who are placed is approx 2.5 to 3 lakh per annum. The companies that visited this year are TCS, Indian Army, Cause Code etc.
Placements: The senior batch was pretty good and thus they got what they deserved. Around 60-70% students got placed on the campus, whereas the rest are the ones who go far and study further. Further studies include GATE, GRE and civil services as well. Mainly TCS, Tech Mahindra, Persistent, etc visited for placements.
Placements: From my current senior batch, 60-70 % students got placed in many different companies. The mass recruiting company in BIT is TCS and Tech Mahindra. A higher probability of getting placed is from the IT, CSE and ETC branches. However, civil and mechanical students also get placed if they have a good aggregate. From my senior to senior batch, one student got selected in ONGC with the highest package of that batch i.e., 9 LPA. The average package is 3-4 lacs per annum. ...
Placements: Overall, placements are good. Every year, about 30-35 companies visit our campus out of which, most companies are IT companies including TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, HCL, Global Logic which offer 2.8 to 3 LPA on average. Every year, 300-350 students are offered jobs via placements. TCS HR said that our college is the best institute in central India for placements. Our seniors were offered 3.6 LPA as the highest package. BIT doesn't ensure 100% placements. Here, most students aren't interested in place...
Placements: The placement as compared to other colleges in CG is good, but it is decreased in last 4 years, up to 2013-14 this college has very good placements with good packages but at present, it is decreased, and the package is also normal about 3.2-4.6 LPA. Indian navy, TCS, HCL, IBM, ICICI, L&T, Litmus, and many other companies come every year in this college, but last year the selection ratio is very less.
Placements: Around 80 percent of the students get placed in good companies. The top companies in the recruitment are TCS, L&T etc. The placement average revolves around 2.5 to 4 lakhs per annum. Students mostly go to pursue higher education. That's why placement is 80 percent.
Placements: Placement goes well here. The average package for engineering students is INR 5.5 lakhs and there is 90% placement. There are about 38 companies which come to the college for placements including Tata Motors, HEG, CG etc. Students also get placed for summer and winter internship through college.
Placements: Placements were average when I passed out from this college. Many companies came but package offered by them was very less. Many good companies also came which were offering nice packages but for them, there were very few vacancies so only few people got selected in those companies. But I have heard that now the scenario has changed and very higher numbers of students are getting placed in good companies.
Placements: The average package is 3.5-5 lacs. As we know, public sector companies don't hire from colleges so a huge emphasis is on GATe and CAT preparation by students and faculty members. But a lot get elected in private IT companies too like TCS, Cognizant, Accenture, Wipro, Global Logic, AQ, etc. about 25 IT companies visit every year. Apart from that in core sector companies like Adani, Aashi and Reliance also recruit from this college. Apart from this, major opportunities are there in banking and fin...
Placements: The placement in the college is average. There will be 4-5 companies at maximum which will be coming here. The majority of the students get placed in service based companies like TCS and Accenture irrespective of the branch. Package is almost same for these companies ranging from 3-4 LPA CTC. You can participate in off campus placements and open campuses going around the city and across other colleges.
Placements: Placement in my batch was mostly from TCS, though some other startups also recruited. Among core mechanical companies, Adani Power and Godrej were the recruiters, and they recruited 4 and 2 students respectively. There was no internship assistance from the college and student will have to look out on his own for internships. Overall, placement in mechanical engineering was just average.
Placements: In comparison to other colleges of Chhattisgarh, placement is okay. One thing to note, if you’re good in any particular field, you'll surely get a job in the companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro (project based giants), or even in your core field if you wish to work for small companies, which develop products of their own. The average salary our seniors received is similar to 2.3 LPA. Internships depends on one's own knowledge. It's like apply and get, if your skill set is enough and have worked o...
On the state level, it is the best college after N.I.T. The faculty is better than that of the other state colleges. The library and the hostel facility are good. The campus recruitment happens with an average package from Rs. 3.5 Lakhs to Rs. 5 Lakhs. There is no bus facility available.
This college has a good environment, I must have to say that the faculty is very well qualified and is highly experienced. The campus was also good. The college does not motivates the students towards any cultural activities. No focus is given towards other things except for studies. But overall the experience was fine.
It's a good college as far as studies are concerned. It might lag in the festivities and the crowd, but that shouldn't matter to a person who has studies as his priority. A lot of all-round development activities are conducted in the campus. The infrastructure is good and almost comparable to an NIT. The faculty members are helpful and knowledgeable. So, if you can compromise for placement and exposure, then it's a good deal to study here.
The college could have been much better if the faculty was more focused on molding students according to the needs of current technological era. Rather, sessional marks and assignments become center of learning here. The students are completely cut off from things like interesting projects, summer internship opportunities etc. This makes them unsuitable for innovation, having a technical mindset and for companies. Hence, the placements records are extremely poor. Core companies approaching are a...
The college has a fantastic and a ravishing infrastructure and the college provides transportation facilities. The college faculty is better than the other colleges in that area. Although, the college tries to get a 100% placement, but it actually never happens. The college has a proper canteen that provides a good quality of food. The area is surrounded by greenery and the college provides sports facilities.
College fee is reasonable, but the college canteen needs improvement. This college is one of the best colleges in Chhattisgarh. Senior faculty members are good as well as strict. Syllabus of this course is good. BIT doesn’t need any advertisement. Both Interactive and practical sessions are conducted and are good to learn. Equal weightage to both internal and external exams is given. Exams are mostly theoretical. You have to help yourself for placements.
The college has great infrastructure and good environment, facilities are good. Teachers are friendly and made a comfortable environment for the students to learn. More exposure would definitely help in better placements. Campus life is good and fees is worth it, very affordable. Fabulous arrangements for core branches like mechanical engineering and civil engineering. Electrical and electronics, electronic and instrumentations were fine. IT could've been better in terms of exposure. College Uni...
