The campus and faculty members are good.

Placements: Although the college does not put enough focus on placements, companies like TCS and Wipro visited the campus for placements. The roles are offered in IT sector mostly, like testing, defect fixing and customisation. Some roles were offered in the banking sector as well.

A good engineering college for studies, but one will be disappointed with the placements here.

Placements: Placement opportunities are available only for CSE, IT and ET&T branches. Students of the civil, mechanical and electrical branches need to look for placements on their own. Only one placement drive was conducted for the civil department, and the placements are provided for the students of the civil department through an open exam. There were placement drives organised for the students of the CSE and electronics engineering departments. The average salary package offered was 3-5 LPA. A majority ...

A college that offer excellent knowledge.

Placements: Many companies like Byju's, Tech Mahindra, Panasonic, Ambuja Cement, Jaro Education, Scope Telecom, TCS, and Capgemini, etc., have conducted their drives in this college and a very large number of students were placed from this college. The salary package offered is up to 12.5 LPA.

It is the best and the topmost college in Central India.

Placements: There are 100% placements in IT/CS. Other branches also have placements but not 100%. Many companies like TCS, Capgemini, Wipro, Analytics Quotient, Byju's, Jaro, Infosys, etc., visit the college for recruitment. The TPO team is working hard to bring most of the companies to college and to get students placed. Moreover, there are special faculty members who teach us how to get ready for the upcoming interviews.

A good college for average students, but students have to work hard for good career opportunities.

Placements: Most of the students got placed in IT companies such as TCS. Hardly any core company visits the campus. Most of the students opt to prepare for competitive exams such as GATE and CAT, and a majority of them get a good grade and an opportunity to join IITs and IIMs for postgraduation. They also get placed in PSUs. So overall, it is a good college, but it is above average for mechanical engineering aspirants.

The best college in Chhattisgarh in terms of teaching.

Placements: Placements are good for branches like computer science and information technology but not for electronics, electrical, civil and other branches. The college also organised certain exams like AMCAT which provide jobs to students. Good companies like TCS and many other software companies visit BIT to offer placements. Around 2-3 companies visit for core branches. There is a placement cell in BIT which provides information to the students regarding companies that visit BIT or nearby colleges.

Placements were limited and the faculty members were not good, but the infrastructure was good.

Placements: Placements in our college were limited. Only a few good companies visited the campus, namely TCS. Some other companies also visited, and many students got recruited. Mostly, the placement depends on the capabilities of students. I was a 2014 pass out, and the placements were not up to the mark. But earlier, they were better, and later from the junior batches, many students got placed.

I had a good experience in this college. Teachers and seniors are very helpful.

Placements: Placements in the college are good. Companies like TCS, Jabong, Axis Bank, Justdial, Amazon come to our campus for placements. The maximum salary package offered is 5 LPA and minimum is 1.20 LPA. Placements are maximum for computer science students. The average package offered is 2-3 LPA. It is the best college in Chhattisgarh for placements.

Review of Bhilai Institute of Technology, Durg.

Placements: Around 40% placements are achieved. Companies that visit the college mainly offer IT profiles. The average package offered is 3.5 LPA. The college has a very weak placement record, and it needs to be improved. Other than this, the people also get selected for government jobs as it is one of the premier institutes in Chhattisgarh.

Review of Bhilai Institute of Technology.

Placements: Tata Consultancy Services, Thyrocare, Indian Navy and Cognizant visit the college to offer placements. The placement opportunities are increasing to provide the students with highly payable jobs in the market. Some of the best companies in the market set grounds in BIT. However, not many options are available to explore. The college provides placement training and gives opportunities to the students to explore. I advise exploring the options outside the college to get better job opportunities. T...

Reality of famous old college with no placements and qualified facilities.

Placements: Almost 60 percent placement in IT and CS. AROUND 5 to 10 percent placement in mechanical. No core company visits only it companies visit. Only Adani a core mechanical company visited. They offered 4.5 LPA the highest in batch. There is no internship and placement cell is also ineffective to attract companies. Overall almost no placements for core branches.

There should be an improvement in facilities, faculty members, and placements.

Placements: Placements in the college were not good. A few companies like Analytics Quotient, TCS, etc., visit the campus for placements. The salary package offered was the same as per their standard for any non-IIT/NIT candidate. The placements in the college could have been better. Students should be encouraged and provided the path through which they can opt for the internship in big firms.

BIT, Durg is one of the most underestimated colleges in India.

Placements: TCS is the mass recruiter with hiring around 100 candidates per year. I got selected in Vedanta's Aluminium Business and also in TCS. During our seniors batch, Fluor Daniels came for placements. More or less, every student in mechanical engineering has a job in hand while leaving the college.

Sufficiently good for one's liking.

Placements: Placements were not upto the mark to be honest and mostly the campus visits were from IT Sectors. Wipro, Infosys, TCS and HCL were some of the companies that took majority of students. Vedanta was the only core sector company that took 4 students in the process. The highest salary 7.5 LPA, the lowest 5 LPA, Average : 6.2 LPA.

Satisfied with the campus and infrastructure.

Placements: The placements for our batch were good. TCS and Vedanta hired most of the students. 384 students out of 600 got placed last year. The highest package offered was 5 LPA, and the minimum package was 1.4 LPA. Our senior batch's placements were also good. For placements, the college conducts aptitude classes and various seminars. The placement cell is good. Our junior batch students were hired by TCS and Capgemini.

The college is decent in academics, but it needs improvement.

Placements: The college is known as the best private college in Bhilai, Chhattisgarh. The salary package ranges from 2 LPA-5 LPA. The average package is around 3.5 LPA. Major recruiters are cognizant, TCS, Tech Mahindra and Merchant Navy. The strength of the batch is decent, so there will never be a problem with placements.

It is a good college and is graded A by NAAC. Five UG programmes were accredited by NBA.

Placements: The institute has full-fledged training and placement cell headed by a full-time training and placement officer and backed by a professor in charge. BIT always strives to amalgamate various resources and systems of the institute with a clear focus on 3 E's, namely enrichment, enlightenment and employment. TCS has accredited BIT with C grade for placement activities.

Our college is best private college of Chhattisgarh.

Placements: The placements are nice here when compared to other private colleges of Chhattisgarh. For CSE branch, the highest package is around 6-7 LPA, and the average package is 2.4 LPA. Also, companies like TCS also come here. Those who cleared GATE will surely get a package of above 12 LPA.

Placements: It brings good companies for students placements and even faculty members are very supportive. All type of training is given to students so that they can easily crack all the levels of campus drives. TPO is also very supportive and always there for your help and advice.

The companies like TCS, Cognizant, Wipro, and lots of core companies recruit lots of students for placement. The students having management also got the placements.
