Loved the campus life, library collection, and the professors.
Placements: There were no such offers as job placements for B.A. students. However, there were seminars conducted on career counseling, and many companies like Physics Wallah, Unacademy, came to our college campus to inform students about further opportunities they would like to partake in.
Infrastructure: The library is fully air-conditioned, and taking books is so easy and accessible. You can browse through the shelves for as long as you want, study for as long as you want. There is central Wi-Fi, and there are 3 canteens on the campus. The entire area is filled with trees, which creates an amazing atmosphere that’s cool and calming.
Faculty: The teachers are knowledgeable and extremely qualified. They will provide students with any and all forms of guidance they require, whether personal, academic, or extracurricular. The course I enrolled for is relevant in multiple fields: media and communications, journalism, further studies into becoming a professor, or academic scholarships, and opportunities abroad.
Other: There is a fest that happens every year during the winter break, celebrity singers are brought in, and last year Iman and Shilajit were the highlight of our fest. The huge collection of books really helped me enjoy and relish the course of literature, and the very quiet and peaceful ambiance in the library was also an added perk that helped me study better.

I am satisfied with the education system of this college.
Placements: More than 40% of students are placed in our college. The top companies like Linkedin, ABP Ananda, and many more recruit our students in their companies. I have been offered the role of researcher and role of editor in ABP Ananda. The highest salary offered is Rs 18,000 per month, and the lowest salary offered is Rs 13,000 per month. Almost 30% of students get internships.
Infrastructure: This college has a Wi-Fi connection, many RO water purifiers, and even cold water RO are also available in our college. It provides a very developed laboratory, a huge library, and three canteens in our college. The quality of mess food is not satisfying. It has a basketball court in our college.
Faculty: Our teachers are very helpful to students. They guide students very well. The teaching quality is also very good. Professors took classes regularly, and they not only teach them but also help students with projects and tutorials. This is very important to go to college every day because students get a number in the percentage of attendance. This course is not curriculum relevant. Semester exams are not very tough, it is standard. The passing percentage is 40%.
Other: I opted for this course, because this will help me to pursue a job. The best thing about this course is that it is very interesting. The novels' poems are very heart-touching. Exam structure can be improved. Events and fests are very enjoyable. The campus crowd is enormous during these fests. The campus surroundings are fine, and there is a pond in our college. I have scholarships one time. Extracurricular activities are equally important as the main courses.

Absolutely dissatisfied with the teachers because they don't come and never tell us about anything.
Placements: Around 900 students were placed in my course. The highest package in my course is around INR 20,000. We only get certificate from the college and then we have to struggle for jobs and our career. My course will be completed in 2025, then I can tell you about internships.
Infrastructure: Our college classroom is same as our school classroom. There is no difference between college and school. Wi-Fi is only available in the teacher's office and we can't use it. The library is good but there are lots of books that are missing that we want. I don't live in hostel so I can't tell you about hostels.
Faculty: Some teachers are helpful. But some teachers aren't. When teachers will not come, they have to tell us that we can't come to college and can't take your classes but some of them never tell us that they can't come and when we reach college, they tell us that we haven't come to college and can't take your class. For these reasons, we have to struggle for time and money.

I am satisfied with the facilities, and the best department of psychology.
Placements: In this college, students had to find their jobs. The degree students get from this college, and the skills they learn was an asset for a lifetime. Students can't expect a general college for good placements, and neither do they claim to give placements. But the place was good for bachelor degree.
Infrastructure: The food quality served was very good. S. C. Maam, the hostel head and former HOD of the psychology department were very caring that always ask students about their comfort and provide everything they need. The campus was good, students can live. The library had a lot of rare books to study.
Faculty: The curriculum was according to Calcutta University. It was relevant for the student's career. The skills students learn from here were best among the related colleges. The facilities were good for most of the departments. The pass percentage for honors subjects was 40%. Teachers were very cooperative, they will make students feel at home.
Other: This was the best department of this college. The college union was really helpful and friendly. The campus was not a bit disturbed with unwanted politics, the best place to study peacefully.

It is a good college for every student.
Placements: There isn't any placement system in our college because the college is for graduation and it is under CU, so it can help for post graduation. This college guarantees us a very good post-graduation college so that our placement should be confirmed further.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, and we have huge classrooms with good rows and benches. The corridor is also big, and there is a garden outside. We got a library for our leisure time and also Wi-Fi in our college. The drinking water is good. Overall everything on the campus is good.
Faculty: Teachers of our college are highly professional and are highly intellectual. They take every class punctually and maximum teachers have completed Ph.D. in their subjects. Each class looks more interesting because their way of making us understand the topic is perfect.
Other: I would highly recommend this college if you are living in Howrah.

The faculty was very supportive but the attendance rules were strict.
Placements: There are various courses like internship in George telegraph, Mock tests for post-graduation B.Ed. training, mock test for various government exams, the National Cadet Corps, the National Red Cross Cell, etc. We have a good sports team and girls who are interested in sports and outdoor activities are also greatly compatible with our college programmes.
Infrastructure: The facilities at my college were very neat and organized during my graduation years. The library was fabulous and the canteen served healthy and hot food. The location is perfect, too. There is also an indoor common room, an outdoor activity area, and a sports ground for extracurricular and sports activities.
Faculty: The professors were very passionate and qualified. But the infrastructure is quite old, as it is a much more old and prestigious college than its other counterparts under CU. So generally, the college tries to maintain the reputation that it has with strict discipline and a higher standard than others.
Other: The best thing about my course was that it was very flexible and there was much less pressure in my course compared to other subjects. The teachers were like good friends, guiding us through all the problems. Our college frequently holds seminars, cultural programs and freshmen programs.
