Roller coaster ride of the student life in the BVM.

Placements: In the current year, the placement is nearly 65-75%. The highest package is 9 lakhs, the lowest is 3.5 lakhs, and the average is 4.5 lakhs. The top companies are Rapidops, Motadata, Odoo, Social Pilot, etc. Nearly 80-90% of students get internships in companies like Tatva Soft, Surekha, Simform, etc. The roles offered are junior developer, AI-ML developer, or in the DevOps field.

Average review, placements, college, and poor management.

Placements: 5–6 students from each department every year get placed. Not more than that. The highest package is around 40 lpa, and the lowest is 3 lpa. R&D is the top recruiting company. We choose internship companies ourselves. If we don't get any industry ourselves, then they will provide us with an industry for our internship.

I am satisfied because of good infrastructure.

Placements: Placements are average. The highest package offered is 6-8 LPA, but the training and placement cell is fantastic in terms of curriculum and placement training. They also arrange different programs for students to learn different skills required for placements.

It provides average placements and poor facilities.

Placements: About 70% of the students from our course got placed. The college follows the one-student-one-company rule very strictly. If a student is placed with a salary package of 3.5 LPA, then they can never appear in the campus placement even if a company comes with a salary package of 10 LPA. There is no scope for improvement. Students have suffered a lot due to such rules. Top recruiting companies like TCS, L&T, Crest, Motadata, etc., visit our college for placements.

Overall, our college is quite good in Gujarat.

Placements: Placements in our college are quite average because it comes in tier-2 college. If you are in CS, IT and electronics courses, then placements are about 50%. If you are in mechanical, civil and production courses, then you could face many difficulties to find core jobs.

Very satisfied with placement, infrastructure needs improvement.

Placements: Almost 30% of students are recruited, mostly for junior engineer post. Some student placed in giant industries like reliance and L&T with annual packages of 6 to 7.5 Lacs, while others placed in industries like TCS, M. G. MOTORS, Line etc. With packege of 2.5 Lacs to 6 Lacs .

The placements are quite low, hostels are average and the course curriculum is outdated.

Placements: The placements are quite low around 30% for the department and the average package is around 2 LPA. Since fees is more than 1 LPA, ROI is not that great for the department. Companies like Matrix, TCS are top recruiters with the highest package being 6 LPA and the lowest 1.5 LPA. No internships in the curriculum.

I am somewhat satisfied with this college because of the faculty. The college is value for money.

Placements: About 2% of the students got placement in the year 2019. Only 3 students out of about 120 students got campus placements. The average salary package offered was 2 LPA, and the highest salary package offered was 4 LPA. The minimum salary package offered was 2 LPA. Companies like L&T, Shapoorji Pallonji, and L&T Infrastructure visited our college for core civil engineering branch placements. A top role offered to the students is training engineer.

I am dissatisfied with mechanical engineering staff members.

Placements: Placements for mechanical engineering students have been steadily decreasing. When I joined in 2016, the number of students placed were over 75. However, in 2020, it has declined to less than 20, i.e., 15% of the students were enrolled in mechanical engineering. The highest salary package offered is 14 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA and the average salary package offered is around 3 LPA to 6 LPA. Many companies visited BVM during the placement season. Some of the big names are R...

The review of Birla Vishvakarma Mahavidyalaya.

Placements: Placements in our college are good. Many well-reputed companies like TCS, Reliance, L&T, Evosys, and E-Infochip, etc., visit the campus for on-campus placements procedures. The lowest package offered was 3.5 LPA while the highest package offered was 12 LPA. Training on how to crack placements is also given to students.

It is one of the reputed and oldest colleges.

Placements: Placements in the college are good. The major recruiters are Reliance, L&T, TCS, LINE, Shapoorji Pallonji, etc. The average salary package offered was around 3 lacs per annum. There is a good opportunity for students to work in the core technical field. There are also new recruiters added every year. A majority of students get placed in TCS.

Overall, the college was satisfactory.

Placements: 15-20 companies visited the campus, but the placement figures were not good. From a batch of 120 people, only 35 students were placed, that too with the package being between 1.2-3 Lacs per annum. The first three months of the internship is unpaid. The same is the scenario for our senior batch.

The facilities and infrastructure are onto a point but dissatisfied with the faculty behaviour.

Placements: The placements are somewhat good but can't rely on campus placements. The companies like L&T, TCS, Alpine, and Byju's visited the college for placements. Moreover, some other local companies also visited the college during the period. Training and placement cell has worked hard for the placement process.

It is an average college nowadays only name is big but facilities are pathetic.

Placements: The placements are good when compared to other colleges of GTU in the production department. 28 students out of 70 were placed this year. It is a college record, but about 10 of them are in the merchant navy, so it is not fruitful placements. The college is well-known, so drives are available. The chances of placements are good.
