In short, the college is average. Food is good, vibe is good, and mainly autonomous, so you can join
Placements: Placements here are average, with the highest package of 27 LPA per annum and an average of 4.5 LPA per annum. Internships will be provided, and certificates will also be given for completing them, which you can add to your resume. TCS, Infosys, and two of the most famous companies come for campus placements.
Infrastructure: Good classes, best labs, and decent working Wi-Fi are available here. The mess food is average, but the cafeteria food is really great. Medical facilities are available, and sports are given more priority here. The best grounds and cool people with a good vibe are present on campus.
Faculty: Exams are really easy. You have 3 internals per semester, worth 30 marks each, and one end-semester exam. Internals are easy, with all the questions coming from assignment questions. The end-semester exam is also very easy, as BITM is an autonomous college, and the paper is prepared and evaluated here itself.
Other: Only one big event per year, and branch day will happen here. It is really good, worth it to come and enjoy.

A good college for completing a degree.
Placements: Basically, my college placements for my ECE branch are good, and here they mostly get placed in core companies. Companies like Wipro, Siemens, Kirloskar, and Harita Motors do come. The highest package that got placed was around 12 Lacs. The lowest was around 3 Lacs.
Infrastructure: Here, our college provides good facilities for hostel students. We have 2 blocks for girls and 2 blocks for boys as hostels. The food in the mess is also like home-cooked food. We also have a gym area. We also have NCC, which is held for a few days.
Faculty: All the teachers here are helpful. We have three internal exams and one semester-end exam. For each test, they provide a question bank for students, which is very useful in exams. We also have labs that help us to perform and know some instruments. In need, they do keep extra hours for solving before exams.
Other: I opted for this course because we have one benefit we can go into either the software or core side. As we all know, semiconductors are going to be a big thing in the future, so being in this branch is going to be beneficial a lot. It's a trending course to choose.

Good placements before COVID-19, but the numbers have been decreasing since then.
Placements: There are fewer placements in my college for core branches like Mechanical Engineering (ME) and Civil Engineering. The focus is primarily on IT (software jobs). The highest package is 27 lakhs per annum, the lowest is 1.15 lakhs per annum, and the average salary package is 2.5 lakhs per annum. Companies like Accenture, IBM, JSW, Kirloskar Ferrous, and Tech Mahindra recruit from our campus. About 20 to 25% of students get internships every year across all branches.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are generally good, but some have water leakage problems. Wi-Fi connectivity is available for students but is limited to 12 MB, which often gets exhausted quickly. The library is decent, though some handbooks are in limited supply. Hostel food is acceptable at the beginning of the academic year, but its quality declines over time, sometimes with stones in the food and poor quality vegetables. Although they claim to have gym facilities, there is no equipment in the gym.
Faculty: Our teachers are very good and well-qualified, mostly holding Ph.D. or M.Tech degrees. They are supportive and approachable, often treating students like friends. However, some lack organizational skills, class management, professionalism, and ethics.
Other: I chose Mechanical Engineering because of my passion for becoming a mechanical engineer. However, the syllabus we are studying is outdated, covering content that is 25 to 30 years old. With advancements in machines and mechanisms, the syllabus should be updated.

Vision to Mission. Education is the key to knowledge.
Placements: Our college has an average percentage of placements. About 80% of students are placed in every branch. The CSE branch has more placements compared to other branches. The average package is about 3.5 to 4.5 LPA, and the highest package is about 27 LPA.
Infrastructure: Our college has the best and very large infrastructure. Every branch has different buildings and blocks. Every branch has very neat and well-maintained labs. The college campus is very cleanly maintained. Hostels are also very big and have separate hostels for each year's students.
Faculty: Our college faculty members are very supportive and helpful. All the lecturers are very supportive in teaching students who want to learn extra activities like events or any courses, etc. Exams are conducted with monthly internals and a semester exam every 6 months.
Other: I have chosen this course because I wanted to do a job in the IT field and was interested in computers. The college does very nice events like Explorika, branch events, and all.

Good Faculty and Curriculum, with Potential for Enhanced Placements and Infrastructure.
Placements: The placement opportunities for students in our course have been quite positive. Students landing roles in renowned companies. These companies offer exciting internship opportunities in software and app development, often leading to full-time positions for high-performing interns. While securing full-time roles can be competitive, the internship experience provides students with valuable skills and a strong foundation for future employment, making the overall placement environment very encouraging.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the department is functional with Wi-Fi available in most areas, though some rooms have more reliable connectivity than others. The holder buildings can seem congested, but the classrooms are generally adequate for the number of students. The hostel facilities are satisfactory, and the food in the mess and canteen is good, although the large student population sometimes makes accommodation difficult. While sports and games facilities are available, support for extracurricular activities could be improved for better student engagement.
Faculty: The faculty is highly qualified, and the teaching quality is generally effective, with professors demonstrating a strong understanding of the subjects. However, there is a bit of room for improvement when it comes to interacting real-world applications into the curriculum. The course curriculum is well-structured and relevant, though it could benefit from more focus on industry-specific skills to make students fully industry-ready. The semester exams are conducted with strict adherence to guidelines, ensuring a well-structured and disciplined evaluation process.

BITM (Ballari Institute of Technology and Management).
Placements: More than 60% of students have been placed, with the highest package being 2,700,000 and the average ranging from 300,000 to 400,000. Companies like Microsoft, Cognizant, and others are recruiting, with 50% of the placements happening at Infosys. Internships from our course focus on data analysis and artificial intelligence.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are equipped with projectors and CCTV, and Wi-Fi is provided when necessary. The library has a comprehensive collection of books needed for student studies. The hostel accommodations are decent, housing three students per room. Sports facilities are excellent, but the food could be better, and 24/7 medical services are provided.
Faculty: The teaching quality is top-notch, with most teachers holding Ph.D. degrees. They are helpful in clearing doubts, and this course prepares students to be industry-ready. The exams are relatively easy but are conducted very strictly, with a pass percentage of 90.
Other: I chose this college because it offers a top course that allows us to pursue various paths. Events are held once a year, and the college does not provide any scholarships.
