BONGAIGAON Polytechnic a life of engineer.

Placements: Out of 30 students, 23 get placed. The highest package is 3.6 LPA, and the lowest is about 2 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Hitachi, Tata Motors, Anand Group, MRF Tyres, etc. Many students also get apprenticeships at Railways, NEEPCO, APDCL, etc.

Infrastructure: The hostel is there. Nearby, there are many PGs for boys and girls. The canteen facility is also present. The college library contains many books. There are many clubs, i.e., cultural club, sports club, etc. Our college also has a dispensary for medical facilities. Food in the hostel is really good.

Faculty: The qualification of faculty members is very high, and we also receive scholarships. The infrastructure is really good. They provide an AR/VR lab for students with a computer background, along with laser printing, 3D printing, and CNC outer machines. They have a volleyball ground, a basketball ground, and separate buildings for each department. The college offers an honours facility that boosts your career in emerging technologies. Academic sessions include feedback from all students so that they can describe their problems to teachers and even higher authorities. Placements are average. I got my placement after the examination of my final semester. Overall, it is average, and they guarantee to place every interested student in companies. It is particularly good for those who want to get a sales job.

Other: The annual fest is also celebrated here. With a 1 week long activities.

Bongaigaon Polytechnic has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:

After 10th Diploma

Candidates must have passed H.S.L.C./10th or its equivalent examination in a single sitting with Mathematics and Science as compulsory subjects (Without grace marks in Maths and Science and also have to pass indivisually in both Theory and Practical/ Internal assessment) with average 40% marks in Mathematics and Science for General/ OBC/ MOBC category (35% marks for SC and 33% marks for ST category) from a recognised board/institute. The maximum age limit is 20 years 6 months for UR/OBC/MOBC as on 31-12-2023 and for 23 years 6 months for SC/ST as on 31-12-2023. Candidates must be a Permanent resident of Assam.
