Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) - Batch of 2019

Quite satisfied with the surrounding of the college and few faculty members.
Placements: In Architecture there's very less number of chances to get college placement. Because no such placement formalities done in any architecture college. You simply can't ask for campus placement in architecture field. So from the college you learn about how to get job or do self practice in future which is better than placement I think.
Infrastructure: Very basic infrastructure of college building as its not designed as architecture campus so it is just fine. But still the building is in lap of aravali hills and the nearby atmosphere is completely stunning in monsoon time due to the valley and mountains.
Faculty: Environment studies, interior design and product design can be introduced in the upcoming years. Well regarding curriculum, the teaching quality was good enough but if the students are not going to take part and will involve in classes and workshops, this will never make the level of the teaching high.
Other: Rich in cultural activities.

Review of Buddha Group of Institutions, Udaipur.
Placements: The college does not provide placements in an architecture course. All the pass out students I know either working or having their own firm. The college does not provide an internship, and it is on us where we want to work and that happens in our 8th semester. It is compulsory to do an internship, so every student does an internship.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Since it was not designed to be an architecture college, so it doesn't have all the facilities. The college gave us a lot of memories and it what's good to be there.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful and knowledgeable. Teaching methods are more of lectures and practical work. There are around 80 to 90 students and 30 faculty members, so teacher to student ratio is around 1:3. Students will get exposure to outside real-world from time to time as we need to keep updates through workshops and case studies.
Other: The college organises an event named Archifest. The campus is surrounded by beautiful mountains as it is located in a rural area. So the connectivity is very difficult for the city.

BGI college Udaipur is the best college of architecture in Rajasthan .
Placements: Presently, there is no placement cell in the architecture department. The college is planning to start a cell this year. About the internship, students who are not able to search for an internship on their own are helped by the college to get a good internship. The stipend ranges from 2 thousand to 12 thousand. Students working in Delhi got the highest stipend.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure: The campus is Wi-Fi enabled. There are medium-level facilities available as compared to the importance of the college. Good library facilities and classrooms are huge enough for lectures. Canteen facilities are unhygienic with a less variety of food available. There is a good all-time working sports complex.
Faculty: Some of the teachers in our college are very helpful. They give their best to support and help students. All the teachers are qualified from well-known institutes of India as well as around the globe. But comparatively many of them can't teach properly. They even use one of the best books and slides to teach us.
Other: I opted in this course because I like this field. I love to imagine, to build and to create. The best thing about this course is no matter how many years you are into it, you can learn a new thing every day and ultimately save this world from deteriorating.

Overall the college and the management is a disappointment for the students but we manage very well.
Placements: First of all, there are no placements in architecture college's. All the pass out batch are now either working or having there own firm. Same with the internship, it's on us where we want to work and that happens in our 8 semester. And yes it is compulsory to go for internship so, yes everyone has done or will be doing.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very poor in quality, as our college is not particularly designed for architecture basis. No canteen facilities, no proper washrooms, neither the college has its own hostel. In sports, we have only table tennis that is very much in a working condition. The classrooms are not designed according to a space that is required for an architecture student.
Faculty: Yes, the teacher's are helpful and have a better sense of knowledge. The teaching methods are more of lectures and practical work. The no. of students are around 80-90 having faculty members of 30 so around 1:3 is the teacher-students ratio. Yes we get exposure to the outside real world from time to time as we need to keep the updates through workshops and case studies.
Other: No such events we host other that one, which is for the architects, hosted by us (architecture students). It might be an exhibition, workshop, or a fest. Campus is surrounded by beautiful mountains as it located at very rural area. So the connectivity is very difficult to the city.
