One of the best ayurvedic colleges in UP which provides all sorts of facilities as well as CCRAS.
Placements: This college does not provide placements. However, during your internship period, you get to work in the college hospital itself, which trains and guides you for your future work and dealing with patients, as well as treating different types of diseases and having one-on-one conversations with patients. Dealing with all the surgeries which are allowed under the government ACT of allowed ayurvedic surgeries such as the surgery for appendix and other ENT surgeries.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is not very nice despite its auditorium, which is newly built and is really beautiful. It reminds us of a movie theatre where functions of the college, as well as seminars, are conducted at regular intervals. The girls' hostel is another new building in the college, which is also nicely built with 30 rooms, out of which 28 are double-seater and 2 are triple-seater rooms with attached washrooms in every room and cupboards are also there, plus a common room and a mess too. Labs are quite big, and the pharmacy has all the ancient equipment which was used to prepare medicine in the older times. New machines are also there for pharmacy uses. The library is also very well managed with a lot of course books available for students.
Faculty: The teaching staff of our college is really good and highly qualified professors with MD or MS degrees from very reputed colleges such as NIA and BHU. Their teaching style is very unique with theoretical as well as practical approaches towards the subjects. Exams are conducted on a regular basis such as periodic assessments held every 2 months, term exams conducted every six months, and a final exam after one and a half years which makes a student thoroughly ready for a remarkable performance in exams. Students have to attain 50% in each and every subject to be promoted. Yes, the course tremendously brings ancient medicine and modern medicine together and is really effective too. Ayurveda promotes a healthy lifestyle and disease-free living.
Other: I chose this course because of my desire to be a doctor. If you are a NEET aspirant and not getting marks above 600, then you must opt for B.A.M.S. because this too is a course which provides you the same learning as that of MBBS. The value of this course in people's eyes should be increased because this course too deserves equal respect. The college holds a freshers party, a farewell party, a sports week, and numerous activities every year, and yes, there are scholarships too for the students by the government.
