BVDU College of Nursing was established in 2007 in Sangli, Maharashtra. It is one of the constituent units of the Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University). The College aims to impart knowledge in nursing education, clinical practice, and community service. It is recognised by Maharashtra Nursing Council and Indian Nursing Council. The College received ‘A+’ grade accreditation by NAAC.
The College is well-equipped with nursing arts, community health and nutrition laboratories, teaching aids and a departmental library. The faculty members have expertise in Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pathology and Microbiology. Out of 31 teachers, five teachers have completed their doctoral studies.
