The best college in Surat for Engineering.

Placements: The college has no more companies to come for the placement. The local companies, nearby Surat generally comes for the placement. The average salary offered was 3.5 LPA. There is an eligibility criterion for sitting in the placement. The criteria based on CGPA, but if you have the extra skill then you will be preferred first for the interview as well as selection.

The best college for pursuing mechanical engineering in Surat city.

Placements: From over 180 students of a batch, 12 to 15 people got placed. The maximum salary offered was 2.5 lacs, and the lowest was 1.2 lacs. The college is not supporting for internships. The placement cell of the college is active. They support us in finding out the best company.

The teaching level of this college is the best.

Placements: In my college, there is a placement. But in my civil field, there is not. In another branch, there are many placements like in computer branch, electrical branch. Around 10% of the students will be placed. 2-3 lacs per annum are offered to the freshers in IT companies. They first take the internship for 5-6 months, then continue with the jobs.

Dissatisfied with the poor infrastructure and placements.

Placements: I mentioned that I passed out in the year 2017, but in this year, there are no placements happened in my college. According to the previous record, rarely 2 to 3 students were placed. The salary offered ranges from 10 to 15K per month. The companies like L&T, Essar, Reliance have visited the campus last time. Well, more than half of the students opt for the internship by itself, not from the college. I cant say about the stipend because it varies from the industries. I don't think that there is ...

C.K Pithawalla College of Engineering is a good college with the good placements.

Placements: In CKPCET college, the placements are good. In 2017, my senior obtained the package of 9 LPA, and his percentage is above 7.1 CGPA. The companies like L&T and SR visited the campus. The companies first take the attitude test than take the interview. If the student qualified this test, then they were taken by the companies. The students, who have above 6.5 CGPA are allowed to sit for the aptitude test.

Dissappointment due to the lack of practical knowledge, not really helpful for pursuing a job.

Placements: There were no placements in this year. Even it was considered as one of the best engineering colleges for the mechanical branch in Gujarat. I don't know about the salary offered during placement, but I heard from my senior that in the past few years, there were so many reputed companies visited like L&T, TCS, etc. with a job role of junior engineer/ GET. Out of 100, at least 90 students opt for the internship in summer vacation at the end of 6th semester.

Fails to meet the expectations in almost every domain.

Placements: For an on-campus interview, not even a single company visited. Many of the deserving candidates are now in trouble hunting jobs in an off-campus environment due to heavy competition. A few friends of mine are currently working with small-scale companies to earn few bucks even though it seems to have no future benefits and a proper moulding.

You'll definitely get good education. Best for electrical branch.

Placements: There were no placements in 2016. In 2015, placements did occur. If you are from Surat then will definitely, you'll get a good job in Torrent Power, Essar or Reliance.

Absolutely dissatisfied with the facilities, good labs, bad placements.

Placements: There are placements of a maximum of 2-3 students and a minimum of no placements in the computer branch. For other branches, there is no placement in the college. Last year, only 2 students were placed and their salary was 9 thousand and that was for training only. The students were offered a minimum stipend of 4000 and the maximum was 7000.

Review for C.K Pithawalla College of Engineering and Technology.

Placements: As far as placements are concerned, there is not much scope for civil engineering but due to industry visits, you will be in contact with different people who might help you in future for your job. So apart from placements, this college is thumbs up from me. But if you are looking for campus placements, it will be tough.

Dissatisfied with infrastructure, facilities and placements but faculty are good.

Placements: The placement is not very good. The college had made a Google mail group for all students and inform them whenever various company arrive. Only three or four students have got the placement and average salary offered was 3.6 lacs per year. The placement department is very lazy and they are not giving efforts for placement.

Good infrastructure but the placement record is poor for electronics and communication branch.

Placements: For the electronics and communication department, the placement opportunity is very low as the company which is coming for placement gives very less package. For MNCs, the students required good marks in their 10th, 12th and also during graduation, which is above 60% during their career. The placement record for other branch is quite better than the electronics and communication branch. Last time, the placement record is 15%. The stipend offered is 1.7 lacs per annum, which is the maximum stipen...

Review on CK Pithawalla Institute Of Management, Surat.

Placements: To be frank, the placement is not that good but you may find same conditions in most of the colleges in Gujarat. For better placement, opt for IIT or NITs. Other than that, it is hardly possible to get a job of 2-4 LPA just after BTech. There are some students who have jobs outside the campus but as far as placements are concerned, the college lacks behind.

Dissatisfied because of placement but good faculty and really great infrastructure facility.

Placements: The placement of our college is good in other stream but in civil department, there are less placements offered to the students. The students were relying on themselves for placement as there were no companies that can offer the placement to the students. So hardly you can find any placement in CKPCET.

Good and qualified faculties but students have to be more enthusiast

Placements: Placement data is below average for 2015 Mechanical batch. For summer internship except giving NOC, no proper effort is made by the placement cell. Merchant Navy Institute Alpha 9 marine had visited and asked money for getting training for 12 to 18 months. One patent referring company was there with 1 or 2 years of bond and giving salary of 10 to 12 thousands. After completion of education, Bridgestone tire was there who was there to hire for service engineer. Job was to check whether tire is el...

Our college has good faculty and they talk with us like a friend. Teaching and behaviour of faculty members are good. Some faculty members are not teaching well but average is good. Equipment and machine for experiment are available in good conditions. The campus doesn't look nice and didn't have good facilities. There is no hostel and good canteen in the campus. The area at which the college is situated feels like we are living in jungle. The college is situated far away from the city side. So, i...

My college is very good for engineering studies. The college staff members are good and helpful to the students. The practical labs and workshops here are in a good condition and the area of the college is large and clean. There are also facilities of grounds, library, computer lab etc available here.

You are not going to get a placement opportunity here but you can get quality education. It will give a degree certificate after 4 years which is of no use to get a nice placement and, for that matter, this is applied to every college that comes under GTU. If you wish to get a better placement in future I advise you to ignore GTU and try somewhere else. Do a detailed study of any college before taking admission in it.

Pros: The College includes supportive and talented-Head of the mechanical department, well trained staff, lab equipment working (95%), Internet facility, huge area, sports facilities, no extra fees or deposit, activity-Clubs and helping non-technical staff. Cons: The only drawback is random electricity cuts, water shortage and not so good infrastructure.
