Placements: Almost 30 to 40% of students got placed by the time they reached their final semester. Law is all about practicing more, and one cannot rely on theory alone, so there are ample opportunities available here to get an internship or placement. Students who maintain 60% marks throughout the course will get placed very easily in the corporate sector. Company law and other options help you to go for the corporate sector.
Placements: We have an active placement and internship committee in our college. Although, we don't have major placement drives happening in our college, very few students manage to get placed through the placement drives. They won't be helping you to secure a job after LL.B. Internship opportunities are plenty. Recently, we got some wonderful opportunities in various companies including DSLSA, Live Law, Vanta Legal, Competition Commission etc.
Placements: The placements through campus is average with packages generally ranging between 5-6 LPA. But the internship placements are good with top supreme court and high court lawyers in Delhi. The industry interaction is also very good. The recruiters most of the time are local law firms and NGOs.
Placements: Placements are average, with the highest salary package of 6 LPA. Various firms, advocates and NGOs recruit the students during placement drives. There is a dedicated placement and internship cell to help students in bagging the opportunities. Offering stipend during an internship is rare. However, some of them got it.
Placements: We have a very active placement cell at Law Centre 1. In my final year, KPMG visited our college and also offered good packages. About 50 students were placed from my batch. Students were offered the role of a legal advisor. They even recruited newcomers.
Placements: Placements of the college are pretty good, and almost half of the students were placed last year. The packages they offer usually differ from year to year but the average salary package offered was 5-7 LPA which is good for a fresher. It is better to have a backup.
Placements: The placement of law centre-1 is average, and students will get lots of opportunities to get jobs and internship during their course period in the college. As many students want to do practice, they also get opportunities to interact with most senior advocates of the supreme court and high courts.
Placements: The placements are good, but as LL.B, there is a professional course many people go for litigation. Those who want corporate sector, they get good internships and good name value of Delhi University. And CCA activities has also been the important part of Delhi University.
Placements: The campus placements to be very honest, it is bad, but don't be disheartened if you have studied law rigorously all the three years, and have done good internships, you will have better connections with seniors and the law officers which can help you with finding jobs.
Placements: There are no placements here. Only your jugad will work for you and only if you have any relationship with an advocate, then only you can work with them. No placements are provided by the college. Only you have to go here and there to get job or internship as they will not even provide the internships.
Placements: The placements are superb. Many big names like Amarchand Mangaldas and Associates and other big names are having alumina of Law Centre 1 as their members, employees and associates. I have learned from many seniors and teachers also that placements are good, but not as good as in CLC and other private law colleges.
Placements: Placements are not that good as compared to the campus law center. In fact, this year, only 2 opportunities came up for the 3rd years, that too were not so famous companies. But there are other things which give us an opportunity to work with companies. When events happen in college, plus when Delhi state legal service authorities give us small projects, we get to work with advocates and gain the experience. Last year in 2016 companies such as Airtel and Wipro came, but this year, no one appeare...
Placements: Placements were really good this time. About 90% of the students got placed. The highest, lowest and the average salary offered was 16 lakhs, 4 lakhs, and 7.5 lakhs annually respectively. More than 90% of the students got an internship from college. The highest, lowest and average stipend offered was 7k, 1k, and 2k respectively.
Placements: Well, there are placements, but I'm not aware of them as I was not interested in placements. But I've heard from my seniors and some teachers that the placements are good. Many students are getting good salary packages every year in placements. The students get enough opportunities here.
Placements: Placement is not good so mostly, the students take the off-campus placement. But there is a campus placement cell which offers placement, but very few students take up jobs from the campus. There is no clear information about the packages offered by any law firm. The students themselves manage jobs or internships.
The case-study based method of teaching is carried out here. Lectures are held in a very interactive way. However, more focus is on classroom teaching with students being given very little assignments. The college has good societies like legal aid societies, mooting societies which ensure exposure to the practical aspect of legal learning. College also organizes frequent trips to courts. Lectures and seminars by legal luminaries are also quite frequent. Libraries are well equipped with academic ...
The college has a good and popular brand name which attracted me. The best thing is that the teaching is through case mate, which gives the student a broad knowledge about any case. The fee is very low. The faculty members are not that much experienced except a few. The timetable is not as per the convenience of the students. Students can also get attracted towards elections held in the college.
Campus Law Centre (CLC) is the primary college under Faculty of Law, DU for teaching graduate degree in law (LLB). You need to be a graduate to enroll in this course. The selection of prospective students is done through an entrance test, details of which can be found on DU's site. There is no parallel to the CLC in terms of the teaching faculty. Various NLUs have DU professors as their VCs. Alumni of CLC is very vast. Many well-known practitioners of law, judges, bureaucrats etc. are alumni of ...
The college is best for a 3-year law course. The fee is very affordable and is less than rupees 5,000 per semester. Even case material is provided by the university itself. The faculty is experienced and there are only 4 lectures per day. Time is convenient. You can choose morning, afternoon, evening batch according to your preference. The library is very good.
