Canara Engineering College experience.
Placements: This is a new course, and I'm one of the founding batch students who joined in 2021. Placement is heavily dependent on our skills and exposure to real-world projects. We are automatically eligible for all placement drives that are available for the CS batch. The average package is around 3 LPA.
Infrastructure: The college is poorly structured, but they are improving the infrastructure at an exponential rate. The college bus facility is good, and the buses are brand new. The college hostel is pretty decent, and the gym is also good. They support us in sports and games.
Faculty: The faculty members are the best part of this college. They are very friendly and helpful, and if we want to learn from them, they will give their best to bring out the fullest in us. The average age gap is also low, so there is less generation gap between lecturers and students.
Other: I chose this course because I liked business and also love coding. Computer science and business systems seemed like a perfect blend of the two. The college fest, called "Aakriti," is held every March, and other festivals are celebrated throughout the year. The college also conducts extracurricular activities and encourages students to participate in sports. The campus is beautiful, and the surroundings are very good.

Really good infrastructure campus and quality education.
Placements: The placement training was very good, and they did a great job preparing us to meet the needs of the companies that interviewed us. In addition, every week we had a skill enhancement training session that helped us develop our skill sets. As a result, many of our seniors got placed in good companies with good packages.
Infrastructure: Our college provides a hostel for students. The hostel infrastructure is very good, and the surrounding nature is also very good, providing a good ambience. However, food is not available in the hostel. Two canteens are located nearby that provide quality food. A mess is also available for hostel students.
Faculty: We have the best lecturers at our college. They are friendly and supportive, and they provide quality education. They prepare us for both an academic career and a career in industry. This has been very helpful for me in pursuing my career goals.

Good college infrastructure and located in a very peaceful place.
Placements: Until my batch came, there was some other placement officer, and for my bad luck, when I came into this college, everything changed, and placements are not good compared to earlier. The placement department has not given any statistics related to previously placed students.
Infrastructure: The hostel doesn’t have Wi-Fi facility. The college now has very good infrastructure as all the buildings are new, and there is good lighting and ventilation in the classes. Coming to hostel facilities:
No Wi-Fi,
No good food available,
Rooms are not worth the cost.
Faculty: Faculty are very good at teaching and very student-friendly. They will always be ready to help us with each and every one of our doubts. The teachers are highly qualified and hold degrees like M.Tech and Ph.D. Semester exams are sometimes difficult as it is under VTU.
Other: Aakrati is the best thing that happens here.

Review of Canara Engineering College.
Placements: In my college, around 80% of placement is generally there and also college has tied up with good companies this year and might increase a bit this year. The lowest package is around 2 LPA and the highest is around 12 LPA. Companies that usually come are TCS, Infosys, other IT companies and many more.
Infrastructure: Course fees: 104265, college fees: 14000, skill enhance training: 10000, bus fees: 26500, examination fees: 1700 and bus fees here depends as we have to select the pickup point first, then we will be provided with the bus fees. Structure facilities are not up to the mark here but we can manage and have a great time. Department classrooms are great.
Faculty: Faculties are great and are very friendly with us, providing great support and in our required fields. Most of them have done their masters in many subjects, providing us great knowledge about our syllabus as well as the outside world. We have a great time with the faculties.

Absolutely good overall but some kind of discrimination among konkanis but wd good infrastructure .
Placements: 30 percent students got placed that's it. For placements, we need skills and communication but it's lagging nowadays. Computer Science students got top roles and it is a good lecture too. The highest package was about 17 LPA. All types of companies come and overall it is a good college.
Infrastructure: Good classrooms with desks and benches are available. Hostel is not that good. Rooms, foods and medical facilities are good. Sports and games are not held at all, just a sports day is conducted. Overall, facilities are fine.
Faculty: The lectures are good, but the teaching quality is just fine. Some courses feel irrelevant, even for the faculty. Overall, the teaching staff is friendly and they give their best in both teaching and grading.
Other: I chose Computer Science for job, lectures and courses. Events are good .

Canara Engineering college is one of the top ranked engineering colleges in Bangalore.
Placements: In Canara Engineering College, The highest package offered is 17 Lacs and the average package is about 4-5 Lacs. The top recruiting companies are infosys and SAP. Top roles offered in our course are internships, workshops and seminars are been conducted.
Infrastructure: In Canara Engineering College, The library is available from morning 9 to evening 8! Classrooms are fine and labs are good. Wi-Fi is not available in most of the places in canara Engineering college. The quality of facilities provided in our hostel is fine. There are 2 canteens in our college.
Faculty: Teachers are quite knowledgeable and helpful. Many faculty members have Masters degree. The semester exams are in the range of moderate to difficult. The passing in our college is 85-89 percentage. The teaching quality is fine and teachers are well at teaching.
Other: It is a decent college with decent placements. This college has NAAC A certification.
