September 29, 2023: Dr Pratyush Kumar Das, a renowned assistant professor in the School of Agricultural and Bio Engineering, won third place in the "Ideation Category" of the national ILS Innovation Challenge, securing a stunning victory for Centurion University. Polymer-functionalized Bio Beads Enriched Soil Amendment (PBEA) for Paddy Cultivation in Cr (VI) Contaminated Soils by Dr. Das emerged as one of the competition's top contenders. Centurion University Empowering Odisha’s Agriculture Landscape Sustainably with APICOL

September 28, 2023: Centurion University of Technology and Management has proudly announced its long-term partnership with APICOL (Agricultural Promotion and Investment Corporation of Odisha Limited), a Government of Odisha undertaking under the Department of Agriculture and Farmers Empowerment, in a significant step towards bolstering the state of Odisha's agricultural sector. This partnership intends to help agricultural businesses in the state of Odisha in a significant way while also closely aligning with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), giving hope and success to countless farmers and aspiring agri-business owners.

Individuals from 12 different districts in Odisha will receive training from Centurion University, which would be crucial. The training programmes will cover a variety of key agricultural industry job positions, such as nursery management, fishery management, goat management, and poultry management, while actively promoting sustainable development objectives. This cooperation directly targets several SDGs by putting an emphasis on entrepreneurship, sustainable agriculture practices, and skill development. By empowering individuals with the abilities and information necessary to succeed as agribusiness owners, it aims to eliminate poverty (SDG 1).

August 16, 2023: The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) has given Centurion University of Technology and Management, Odisha, a grade of A+ (with a score of 3.37). Higher education institutions are evaluated and accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) based on a number of quality criteria, including facilities, the teaching-learning process, research, governance, and more. This testament is evidence of the University's commitment to high quality in its planning, creation, and delivery. Since it is the only private university with 3 of its 6 campuses located in tribal territories, the ranking is very notable. Known for fostering an environment that enables school dropouts to develop a skill and have a career track, Centurion Institution is a multi-sector and multi-campus state private skill institution that focuses on skill-integrated higher education that produces industry-ready professionals. Centurion University’s SoVET becomes Centre of Excellence

November 25, 2019: Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India has declared School of Vocational Education and Training (SoVET)- CUTM - Centurion University of Technology and Management, Bhubaneswar as the Centre of Excellence. The skill integrated higher education model of the university has not only produced ready-made industry graduates and consistently achieved 100 per cent placements, but has also incubated numerous student-led enterprises. The CoE is a centralized shared service provider that helps other schools "Vocationalise the Delivery of Education" and help them adopt Applied and Action learning pedagogies.

CM Confers centurion doctorate on Hassan

November 20, 2019: At the CUTM - Centurion University of Technology and Management, Bhubaneswar in Jatni, Chief Minister Naveen Patanaik conferred an honorary doctorate on film personality and humanitarian Kamal Hassan. Addressing the students, Patnaik said that it’s a proud moment as participants from Odisha have showcased their talent in a manner that it has added National and International laurels to the state as well as country. He also pointed out that the government is actively working to ensure the best eco-system for our young people in the field of skills development.

Placements: 80% of students are placed. The lowest package is 3.5 LPA and the highest is 15 LPA. Yes, I learned, enjoyed, and improved throughout my journey.

Placements: Around 60% of students got placement. The highest package that was offered was around 5.5 Lacs per annum, and the lowest one was 3 Lacs per annum. Many placement companies came this year, but not more as compared to last year. This time, good roles were offered, and many students got placed.

This university is average good. As per course fees, it does not provide placements.

Placements: Around 70% of the students were placed both on-campus and off-campus, but the majority of the students opted to pursue a master's degree. Pharma industries like Cipla, Dr. Reddy's, and Mankind Pharma are hiring many students. The average package is 10k–18k per month, with a maximum of 40k per month.

CUTM BBSR review in a nutshell.

Placements: In the ECE department, the placement percentage of the previous year's students was more than 90%. The highest salary package offered is 6 LPA. The average salary package offered is 2.5 LPA. Companies like Infosys, IBM, Mahindra, etc., visit the college. Most of the students from the third year get internships. The top role offered in this course is an assistant engineer.

I'm satisfied with this university, and I'll recommend my juniors to check for it.

Placements: The placements are good. Most of our seniors are already working in reputed companies. The highest package offered here is 6 lac, and the lowest package is 2 lac. The recruiting companies are Cipla, Lupin, Dr. Reddy, and many more. 90 percent of students get internships in the 6th semester in the industry.

Not good placement and infrastructure is good.

Placements: The highest salary package offered was 6 lakhs per annum, the lowest was 1.5 lakhs per annum, and the average salary package was 2-3 lakhs per annum. The major recruiters were ICICI Bank, Wipro, and Federal Bank. About 60% of the students did their internships on campus. Some of the job roles offered were sales manager, supervisor, and HR roles.
