Most of our faculty members are very cooperative and helpful.
Placements: Almost 75% of students are in a course. The highest salary package offered is 45 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 32 LPA. The top recruiter at CGC Jhanjeri is The Math Company. Around 50% of students got internships from our course in Amazon, Nokia, Airtel, and Infosys.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi availability is 24/7 in the entire campus including the hostel. Hostel food is amazing and the mess staff is highly professional and also they take care of hygiene. Vegetables and lentils are cooked properly. The hostel also has a dispensary which is open for students 24/7 in any case.
Faculty: Teachers of B. Tech ECE are highly professional and always ready to help. They treat students like their friends. Almost every teacher is a Ph.D. holder. Course curriculum is updated regularly which is according to the latest industry trends. Semester exams are moderate.

Unfiltered reality of CGC.
Placements: Very low placement rate. The quality of their placements is not very satisfactory. The packages provided are not on par with what is advertised about the college. The average package is 4 Lacs, which is very disappointing. Companies are usually the ones with not very high potential.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are okay, but they lack AC, which is a great issue in summer, and not all the classrooms have projectors; one in three classes has a projector. Hostels are good, but the food is a different issue. Sometimes the food quality is really bad, but sometimes it tastes really good.
Faculty: The faculty is good, both experienced in educational aspects and practical field knowledge. The curriculum of the course is also good, not too hard, focusing on the basics to the advancement. The exams are moderately difficult. Questions are usually focused on the syllabus provided by the university.
Other: Events and fests are organized frequently, but the social life here is not very good. Due to the lack of clubs and social infrastructure, connections are not very easy to make.

Infrastructure is good. Faculty is supportive.
Placements: If you work hard on your skills, 70% of the students get placed. The highest package is 45.5 LPA. Companies like Amazon and Byju's, among others, visit the campus, and 80% of students in CSE, BCA, etc., get on-boarded. Companies like Flipkart are very good.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. Labs are well developed. There are smart classrooms with all the necessary facilities for students. Each block has an auditorium where events and activities are conducted. Hostel facilities are very good. The faculty members are experts in teaching.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and supportive. They have many years of experience and are always available to help students with any doubts or queries related to their subjects. They are very friendly and use a practical-based approach for education.
Other: College is good.

4Placements3Infrastructure3Faculty3Crowd & Campus Life3Value for Money
Average faculty, good placement, average infrastructure and facilities are also average.
Placements: I am a fourth-year student. As much as I know, placements were good. Mostly students get placed. Secondly, they also tell that the highest package was of 44 LPA, the average was 8 LPA, and the lowest was 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies were TCS, Infosys, and some more famous companies. Internships were also good. Like I know a friend of mine who got an internship of 8 LPA. Yes, getting internships is a little hard in this college but if you have good skills you can get it easily. The top role was a head of the management team
Infrastructure: Like you get everything here on campus, the infrastructure is quite good. Like 24*7 Wi-Fi, good labs, good classrooms with smart boards, and 1 library in each block. The only drawback is the campus is very small. Hostel facilities are also good like normal hostels. Like you have Wi-Fi, barber, laundry, AC, and most of the facilities but again, the hostel is little small.
Faculty: Teachers are average. Like some are really good but some are not that good. Like most of the teachers also feel like they are also freshers. Like they don't know much about college activities and their teaching quality is also average so you have to study on your own. And to be honest, the course curriculum is not that relevant. Like it's more of a school curriculum, not much focused on industry-ready, but if a student wants to do something by himself, then teachers also help him to proceed. Semester exams are quite easy. If you study a little, you can pass easily. And the passing percentage is like other colleges, above
Other: I was a B.Tech (CSE) student. The best thing was that it was quite good and demanding and I got trained overall to get a job easily. The things that could be improved are focusing more on coding skills. Events and fests are awesome. The only good thing about the college is the fests and events. Like you get 2-3 events every month and 1 fest in 1 to 2 months. The crowd is less as I said the campus is small so the crowd is less but they are expanding the college so the crowd will be more in the future and the scholarship is also moderate like any other college and I didn't know much about that.

Good faculty members at CGC Mohali.
Placements: There is a dedicated placement department that conducts various placement drives from the top companies that offer good salary packages to the students. The highest placement package is 53 LPA. Many students got placements in the well-known companies such as IBM, TCS, Amazon, and many more.
Infrastructure: All facilities are good. Wi-Fi-enabled campus. There is a neat and large canteen. There is an auditorium in each block where various events are organized. Hostel facilities are good. Separate hostel blocks for girls and boys. Attached food mess that serves good food.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and well experienced. They follow a practical-based approach for educating the students. They prepare the students for facing industrial challenges. They make them able to get a good job in the market. They are good mentors.

Okay college, the faculty is good, but other than that, it’s just okay.
Placements: Before entering the college, what I thought was extreme placements of 30-40 Lacs, but after spending 1 year here, I see that max to max the placement goes till 9 or 10 Lacs, and this is for MBA. For the majority, it is between 5 to 7 or 8 Lacs for B.Teach, but for BCA, it's around 3 LPA. They have banners for placements like 6 Lacs or 7 Lacs.
Infrastructure: There is Wi-Fi availability only if you opted for the hostel. Earlier labs are fine, the library is okay, and overall the campus is average. The hostel was average, the food was okay, and the Wi-Fi was good, but the strictness around everything is annoying.
Faculty: The teaching staff is very good here, which is the best thing in the college, very helpful. The relevance point depends more on the student rather than the college. Until the 2nd year, you don’t feel industry-ready. The semester exams are good, not very tough. If you cover the syllabus in about a month, you can easily get above a 7 CGPA.
Other: I chose this course because I think it has scope and can help me get placed and settled. The syllabus needs to be changed completely, teaching us more about front and back-end development, not unnecessary subjects or labs where we sit idle and learn nothing. If we come here to code, they should teach us how to code. Nothing related to AI has been taught yet. From the college alone, I won’t be able to create anything related to AI, and nothing about machine learning has been taught. The fests and events are the best—they have many fests and events, which are relevant and useful.
