Chitkara - a dream of many but destination for some
Placements: About 80% of our class was placed, and many of us joined the same hospitals as our classmates. The highest salary offered was Rs 4 lac/annum. The top recruiting hospitals were Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, Fortis Hospital, and others such as GMSH-16 and Mata Kaushalya Hospital. Our primary responsibilities were to provide care for patients, perform procedures, administer medication, and provide support.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi was available everywhere on the campus. Libraries were also there and there were books from all aspects of the world. The hostel food and room environment were great; we were given the choice of selecting a two-seater or any other room. Talking about sports, facilities were phenomenal.
Faculty: Teachers were enough knowledgeable. They had both theoretical and practical knowledge. Along with this semester, exams conducted were designed in a standard way. Exams were not that difficult; anyone who is even average but has given an effort can definitely qualify it.
Other: I chose the course to serve humanity and excel in healthcare. About the course, I guess everything was fine but there should have been many holidays.

An honest review about my college.
Placements: Placements are not according to the output of the students. According to the tie-up with different hospitals, they give placements to the students. We are provided career options such as a guider, as a caregiver, as a counsellor, psychologist etc. But the stipend given is INR 15000 per month.
Infrastructure: Our campus is really clean and the whole campus is wi-fi enabled. The mess food is of acceptable quality and it is cooked in hygienic conditions. Library is quite small as compared to the number of students. Medical facility is available 24/7. Sports facility is quite good and there is a fancy gym too.
Faculty: Exams are difficult to pass, it's not like that you study one day before exams and you can pass. Teacher don't teach up to the mark and their is not much support from other staff as well, we have to manage our own. But our curriculum is the latest which follows industry standards.

Somehow satisfied with the campus life and good faculty.
Placements: In our course, there were a total of 50 students, and only 20 were placed by choice; the rest were not interested because of the low package. Many hospitals, like Fortis and Max, came for the placements. In our course, there was an integrated internship for around 6 months.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good, and the campus is happening too. There are lots of libraries, sports grounds, and many other facilities. The hostel was not so worth it according to the feel, and the hostel mess was also lacking. The sports department exposure is great in this college.
Faculty: The teachers and other faculty members are very cooperative and qualified. The semester exams were moderately difficult, and the pass percentage was 37 percent, which was easily achieved by students. The course curriculum was also great; in some courses, there was more focus on practical knowledge.
Other: The events and fests at the college campus were great, and different clubs are made for different extracurricular activities.

Good university. The ambience and environment are too good .
Placements: So I was the student of B.Sc. nursing in Chitkara University, Punjab. The university provides placement of 100% of students. The highest salary package was 26,000 per month and the lowest was 16,000. The hospitals in which students get placed are Max Hospital and many other private hospitals. It also includes Tata memorial hospital. Good placements .
Infrastructure: The department name is Galileo Block, that is for nursing. It contains all the labs, WI-FI facility, and library. The food is good in the hostel. All the activities are done inside the campus. All games and sports facilities are available. On each floor in hostel, there is induction kettle and iron.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and knowledgeable. Curriculum is relevant according to INC. If you study hard, it is easy to deal with the exams. Sometimes it's too hectic as the students have to suffer from assignments, group projects, and many more. The semester exams are easier than the annual.
Other: The course is good but hectic sometimes .
