Creative Learning with Great Campus Life.
Placements: Almost all of my seniors got placed, and the placement percentage in my department is pretty good. Some of the most well-known companies where my seniors secured placements include NDTV, Radio Mirchi, Big FM, Zee News, News 18, and many other prominent companies.
Infrastructure: My department is located in the Picasso building. Chitkara has given unique names to each building, making the campus so beautiful. You’ll find a library and well-equipped Apple computers on every floor, and the drinking water and washrooms are always kept clean.
Faculty: The teachers and faculty members are very helpful and always try their best to support us. My Dean regularly organizes guest lectures with industry experts to enhance our skills. The exams are fair, and we need a minimum of 4 CGPA to pass the exams.
Other: My Journalism and Mass Communication batch is known for its creativity. I chose this course for its media focus and storytelling opportunities. We get hands-on experience, industry connections, and inspiring guest lectures. I wish for more accredited internships for practical exposure. Our campus life is vibrant with fests like Virsa, Rangrezz, Udaan media fest, freshers’ party, stand-up comedy night, DJ nights for hotel students every month, and Rangmanch. The campus has great connectivity, clean facilities, and many extracurricular options. Scholarships are available, supporting students in a dynamic learning environment.

Good campus life and great curriculum .
Placements: Well, in my course, we are provided internships in our last semester, and the opportunities are lined up by the placement cell of the university. So you can say that all the students in my class are doing paid internships in different media organisations. For example, I'm working at a PR company right now.
Infrastructure: My department is nice, we have labs and studios in our basement. Radio labs, television studios, and other Chroma studios to record and shoot videos for our news channel. Yes, there is a library available for us in our department. I was a hosteller too, so the hostel was just fine, and we had mess facilities too, along with laundry service.
Faculty: The dean and teachers in my department were helpful, and they are the reason I'm working for a very good company today, and I got to learn a lot from them. Yes, the students are prepared for the industry, but I feel that because of COVID, we lost a number of opportunities because we were online.

Amazing university with numerous opportunities to grab.
Placements: Numerous companies visit Chitkara University to recruit students, and I have seen opportunities line up for students in my own department. Many media agencies have students from the mass communication department working there. Some work for radio stations, television news channels, PR agencies, and others as content writers and copywriters.
Infrastructure: In my department, there is a library specifically for mass communication students and books related to the same course. If I talk about classrooms, in my class there is a projector for teachers to use and explain the concepts to the students. Yes, there is Wi-Fi available in the entire department for students, teachers, and the dean. The hostels are good too; they are in good conditions. The food available in Mess is not always nice, but there are many other options for us to choose from.
Faculty: The teachers are really helpful, they are professionals in their field and help students become future leaders. We have received advanced learning from my faculty and several opportunities from the curriculum. I am pursuing mass communication, so I feel that because of the lessons I have learned at the university, I am ready to work in the actual field and environment.
Other: I chose this course to explore my potential and my inner interests and talents. I like to explore the world, and by doing mass communication, I can do the same.

I am satisfied with this college.
Placements: I don't know the total percentage of students who got placed, but about 70-80% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered was 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies like ABP, Aaj Tak, Red FM, etc., visit our college for placements. Almost 100% of the students from our course got an internship.
Infrastructure: Labs were good. I never went to the library, so I don't know about it. The hostel was not that good, but it was value for money. So I recommend you join the hostel.
Faculty: Teachers in our college were helpful and qualified. They have worked in this profession for more than 20-30 years, and now they are teaching us. They make students ready for the upcoming challenges.
