Creative Learning with Great Campus Life.
Placements: Almost all of my seniors got placed, and the placement percentage in my department is pretty good. Some of the most well-known companies where my seniors secured placements include NDTV, Radio Mirchi, Big FM, Zee News, News 18, and many other prominent companies.
Infrastructure: My department is located in the Picasso building. Chitkara has given unique names to each building, making the campus so beautiful. You’ll find a library and well-equipped Apple computers on every floor, and the drinking water and washrooms are always kept clean.
Faculty: The teachers and faculty members are very helpful and always try their best to support us. My Dean regularly organizes guest lectures with industry experts to enhance our skills. The exams are fair, and we need a minimum of 4 CGPA to pass the exams.
Other: My Journalism and Mass Communication batch is known for its creativity. I chose this course for its media focus and storytelling opportunities. We get hands-on experience, industry connections, and inspiring guest lectures. I wish for more accredited internships for practical exposure. Our campus life is vibrant with fests like Virsa, Rangrezz, Udaan media fest, freshers’ party, stand-up comedy night, DJ nights for hotel students every month, and Rangmanch. The campus has great connectivity, clean facilities, and many extracurricular options. Scholarships are available, supporting students in a dynamic learning environment.

Chitkara is good to go for.
Placements: The placements of Chitkara as a whole is great, if I talk about my department in particular department than companies like, Fusion News 18, My FM and other media organizations have students from my department. Almost everyone from my department got the internship and are still working with their respective companies.
Infrastructure: There is library in my department and it has Wi-Fi facility because my course requires internet connection and the labs and studios have the same. I was a hosteller too so the hostels of Chitkara are also good not that lavish but good to go. There is also mess facility avalibale along with other facilites.
Faculty: Faculty; The teachers are helpful as well as strict. They will support you but the same time they will make sure that you are not distracted Curriculum; We have both theoretical and practical subjects which made our course more interesting. Exams; We used to have two mid terms and one final semester exams.
Other: The Course is really interesting and It has something different because in this course you go out of your comfort zone to work.

Amazing college and security .
Placements: In my course, there are 31 students, the highest package offered in our course is INR 100,000, and the lowest package is INR 10,000. Top recruiting companies in our course are the Tribune, India Today, ABS, etc. More than 90 percent of students get an internship from our course.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. The Wi-Fi at the college is good, it works properly. The library is good, and the classroom maintenance is nice. The sports facilities that were provided by the college are excellent. The hostel facilities are good. There is proper security in the hostels.
Faculty: The teachers of our course are well-versed in the subject that they are teaching to the students. There are so many assignments that help the students understand the subjects easily. The semester exams are easy, and the pass percentage is 33 percent.
Other: I chose this career because I love to be a sports journalist. All things are better. The events of this course are very interesting. When there was any event, the crowd was attracted towards the events. There are many other extracurricular activities that gave students the opportunity to explore their potential.

Good campus life and great curriculum .
Placements: Well, in my course, we are provided internships in our last semester, and the opportunities are lined up by the placement cell of the university. So you can say that all the students in my class are doing paid internships in different media organisations. For example, I'm working at a PR company right now.
Infrastructure: My department is nice, we have labs and studios in our basement. Radio labs, television studios, and other Chroma studios to record and shoot videos for our news channel. Yes, there is a library available for us in our department. I was a hosteller too, so the hostel was just fine, and we had mess facilities too, along with laundry service.
Faculty: The dean and teachers in my department were helpful, and they are the reason I'm working for a very good company today, and I got to learn a lot from them. Yes, the students are prepared for the industry, but I feel that because of COVID, we lost a number of opportunities because we were online.

Amazing university with numerous opportunities to grab.
Placements: Numerous companies visit Chitkara University to recruit students, and I have seen opportunities line up for students in my own department. Many media agencies have students from the mass communication department working there. Some work for radio stations, television news channels, PR agencies, and others as content writers and copywriters.
Infrastructure: In my department, there is a library specifically for mass communication students and books related to the same course. If I talk about classrooms, in my class there is a projector for teachers to use and explain the concepts to the students. Yes, there is Wi-Fi available in the entire department for students, teachers, and the dean. The hostels are good too; they are in good conditions. The food available in Mess is not always nice, but there are many other options for us to choose from.
Faculty: The teachers are really helpful, they are professionals in their field and help students become future leaders. We have received advanced learning from my faculty and several opportunities from the curriculum. I am pursuing mass communication, so I feel that because of the lessons I have learned at the university, I am ready to work in the actual field and environment.
Other: I chose this course to explore my potential and my inner interests and talents. I like to explore the world, and by doing mass communication, I can do the same.

I am satisfied with this college.
Placements: I don't know the total percentage of students who got placed, but about 70-80% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered was 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies like ABP, Aaj Tak, Red FM, etc., visit our college for placements. Almost 100% of the students from our course got an internship.
Infrastructure: Labs were good. I never went to the library, so I don't know about it. The hostel was not that good, but it was value for money. So I recommend you join the hostel.
Faculty: Teachers in our college were helpful and qualified. They have worked in this profession for more than 20-30 years, and now they are teaching us. They make students ready for the upcoming challenges.
