The college is good for the students.

Placements: The placements on the campus are good. When we were studying, the placements were less, but now, a fair number of companies visiting for the campus interview. But still the reputed companies are less. The college must try to work on bringing the reputed companies for the campus interview.

Dissatisfied with the college.

Placements: There are no placements provided. They say 'we will call placements' but finally, they will call some call centre jobs, and they will say, it is IT job. If we didn't pass that one, then they will tell it is your problem, and finally, they will blame us. I will suggest you never join this college if you want to pursue the best career.

Good placements in 2014-15.

Placements: The placements in our college are not good as other the best colleges. Only 30-35% placements will be there including all branches. Our college is situated in Tumkur. In placements, it is better than other colleges. The college has good placements and training department to train the students.

The people who want to be well disciplined and want to score good marks can take admissions here.

Placements: As of now, the senior students who passed out from the college are saying that they didn't get placed from the college because the rural companies are neglecting us, so as of now, there are no placements. Maybe in future, companies prefer us for the job and give us a platform to develop their company.

Our college needs a lot of improvements. What is there is not upto the mark.

Placements: Placements are very rare. No reputed companies come for campus selection at all. Not even internships are provided. No matter how students put efforts. One among 100s gets placed outside the campus. We are looking forward for some improvements.

Satisfied with the faculty and infrastructure

Placements: The students who got placed from our senior batches are is comparatively less. About 30 to 40 percent of the students got placed from our college and the maximum salary offered to them was about 4 lacs per annum. Till now, no internship has been provided by the college.

A genuine review of the Channabasaweshwara Institute of Technology and about it's real nature

Placements: The placements are too low in this college. The mechanical engineering students don't get placed. No companies are visiting our college. The students from other branches such as computer science, electronics and electricals get placed with high salary packages. For the mechanical engineering students, the maximum salary package is Rs. 15,000.

Good at academics but very poor in placements

Placements: Placements in CIT, I can say, is zero for mechanical branch. Few companies visit campus but they end up hiring no one. Placement officer works so hard to help us but because of the communication problem of students, no one hires. The college management is trying too hard to make good placements happen.

I am dissatisfied because of the poor placements in the college.

Placements: The placements in our college are poor. Entry for all, but the students with high aggregate get entry to the next round. They won't display the written test marks. Mobile is prohibited, but they inform selected students in the WhatsApp group. There is no topic of an internship, by our interest we need to find the internship.

Unbiased review of CIT, Gubbi

Placements: First of all, don't join this college in hope of placement. Among 6/7 hundred final-year students, hardly 9/10 got placed that too getting a low package of 15-25,000 per month. Recently, the NAAC team reviewed this college by coming here and the college failed in this category though the overall rating given by them is B+. In their annual prospectus, they give many known company names as they come to the college but the reality is bitter. From some teachers or staff, I came to know that they don...

Good college but needs improvement in placements (2014 passed out).

Placements: Placements for our batch and our senior batch were the worst. 5 to 10% of the students will get placed in a year. The highest average salary is 3 LPA and the lowest is 1.5 LPA. Most of the companies are BPOs and only a few were IT companies. Global Edge and Tayana Software being among them. Most of the companies offered software engineer trainee. No student has got internships except one or two. The stipend offered for those are 5000/- to 7000/- per month.

A good place for studies but poor placement.

Placements: As per my personal experience, there are very few genuine placement opportunities. Opportunities will be provided through pool campus and you need to struggle a lot for getting placed. Not many MNCs visit our college.

My college is one of the best college of rural areas. All faculties are very skilled and talented as well. They always try to understand the students’ problems and do their best to solve those issues. You can join this institute without any hesitation.

It is a good college for study engineering. Far from city, located in village so far from city life facility and malls. Faculty are also not too good and its average college with very bad placement. For north student don't come to this college better to choose college in Bangalore.

Now I'm studying in 4th year of this college. Some of the faculty is very helping and guides us. But if anyone is looking for placement then there comes the worst scenario. The college broucher says a lot of companies like Infosys, HCL is coming but none of the company comes here for recruitment other than BPOs.

Will start from Infrastructure, as per Infrastructure college is good with big campus. As come to lectures, few of them are very talented and knowledgeable but many are ok not much to describe about them so it’s better to learn self rather than depending on lectures. In college lectures are all couples (80%), and worst politics. Few lectures acquired higher position in college and play worst politics among students and even lectures.

Well to be honest this college does not qualify to be an Engineering College. There is hardly any scope of learning stuff. Placements are very poor; don’t expect a good job after 4 years. Professors are not from strong background, there are so many lecturers who don't even speak proper English. The directors, principal and HOD’s are also not good.

A College with good ambience and excellent faculties One for all the college is student friendly

Placements: The top role offered in my course is the web developed job role for the CTC 13.5lpa where members of our branch has been selected for that company Another high job role is the software developed for the CTC of 6.7lpa where several students got selected.

It is an average good with teaching, and passing exams but for placements are not good.

Placements: There were no off-campus drives, only students have to try, and coaching for placements was not at all good. Faculty members were good but for placements, there were no good teaching and no off-campus drives. It needs lots of improvement in placements, whereas if students compare to other colleges they had good placements.
