The college is good, and has to improve.

Placements: About 70% students get placed in our college. The packages offered are between 3.5 LPA to 10 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Wipro, TCS, Infosys, capgemini, Mahindra, ibm and others. Top roles offered are data analyst, software developer, and web developer.

The review of Channabasaveshwara Institute of Technology.

Placements: They will give you an opportunity, but you have to grab it. The placement team will not take care of students who are studying there, and the college is not responsible for you if you do not have a job. If you are good in English and somewhat have technical knowledge, you can survive, and it's left to you.

This college is neither good nor bad. People with skills get selected in the placements.

Placements: This college has very fewer placements and training. They take a proper care of every student. They help the students take up the projects. We need more campus placements. Very fewer companies are visiting our college. The campus is a very burden for us. There is no hope of campus placement in our college.

Dissatisfied with the college.

Placements: There are no placements provided. They say 'we will call placements' but finally, they will call some call centre jobs, and they will say, it is IT job. If we didn't pass that one, then they will tell it is your problem, and finally, they will blame us. I will suggest you never join this college if you want to pursue the best career.

The people who want to be well disciplined and want to score good marks can take admissions here.

Placements: As of now, the senior students who passed out from the college are saying that they didn't get placed from the college because the rural companies are neglecting us, so as of now, there are no placements. Maybe in future, companies prefer us for the job and give us a platform to develop their company.

Our college needs a lot of improvements. What is there is not upto the mark.

Placements: Placements are very rare. No reputed companies come for campus selection at all. Not even internships are provided. No matter how students put efforts. One among 100s gets placed outside the campus. We are looking forward for some improvements.

A genuine review of the Channabasaweshwara Institute of Technology and about it's real nature

Placements: The placements are too low in this college. The mechanical engineering students don't get placed. No companies are visiting our college. The students from other branches such as computer science, electronics and electricals get placed with high salary packages. For the mechanical engineering students, the maximum salary package is Rs. 15,000.

Unbiased review of CIT, Gubbi

Placements: First of all, don't join this college in hope of placement. Among 6/7 hundred final-year students, hardly 9/10 got placed that too getting a low package of 15-25,000 per month. Recently, the NAAC team reviewed this college by coming here and the college failed in this category though the overall rating given by them is B+. In their annual prospectus, they give many known company names as they come to the college but the reality is bitter. From some teachers or staff, I came to know that they don...

A good place for studies but poor placement.

Placements: As per my personal experience, there are very few genuine placement opportunities. Opportunities will be provided through pool campus and you need to struggle a lot for getting placed. Not many MNCs visit our college.

Now I'm studying in 4th year of this college. Some of the faculty is very helping and guides us. But if anyone is looking for placement then there comes the worst scenario. The college broucher says a lot of companies like Infosys, HCL is coming but none of the company comes here for recruitment other than BPOs.

Will start from Infrastructure, as per Infrastructure college is good with big campus. As come to lectures, few of them are very talented and knowledgeable but many are ok not much to describe about them so it’s better to learn self rather than depending on lectures. In college lectures are all couples (80%), and worst politics. Few lectures acquired higher position in college and play worst politics among students and even lectures.

It is an average good with teaching, and passing exams but for placements are not good.

Placements: There were no off-campus drives, only students have to try, and coaching for placements was not at all good. Faculty members were good but for placements, there were no good teaching and no off-campus drives. It needs lots of improvement in placements, whereas if students compare to other colleges they had good placements.

It can be a good college if the rules are proper.

Placements: Placements were good, it depends on students that how students were going to represent them in front of interviewers. Almost all students got internships from this college. The lowest stipend offered was Rs 300 per month, and the highest salary was Rs 7,000 per month. There were some faculty members for placements training.

It is not the best college, even if they get awarded as the best rural college.

Placements: Placements here are not that good, and none of the reputed companies visits the college for campus selections. Companies that visit are all very small and fake mostly. In the brochure, they claim to have more than 70% of placements. But in reality, it is only 1-2%. Only 1 or 2 students will get selected in campus interviews. If there are more than 10 students who are selected by the same company, then it is guaranteed that a particular company is fake or they won't provide call letters.
