CMRIT: Placements Strong, But Faculty Lags CMRIT: Impressive Facilities, Academic Quality.

Faculty: CMRIT Bangalore offers a range of facilities for students, including well-equipped labs, classrooms with modern amenities, a library with a vast collection of books and journals, and high-speed Wi-Fi connectivity across the campus. The hostel facilities are comfortable and well-maintained, with amenities like clean rooms, laundry services, and a common room. The quality of food in the mess and canteen is generally good, with a variety of options available. The college also provides medical facil...

Average placements for 2025 as of now. The management should be more cooperative with students.

Faculty: The professors were knowledgeable and passionate about their subjects. The class size was large, limiting individual attention. The course curriculum covered a wide range of topics, but could benefit from more practical content. The semester exams were challenging but fair. While the curriculum and faculty were decent, the college could improve on class size.

Good overall experience and campus.

Faculty: The curriculum is very strict, with lots of things to study and lots of assignments to do but this helps in the overall development of the subject. The college has some of the best faculty members with great knowledge. The pass rate is also good, with students securing VTU ranks as well.

It's a good college, it got A+ grading, and it recorded the highest package in 2023.

Faculty: Teachers teaching here are highly qualified lecturers. They have very good experience, good communication skills, and are very kind towards students. The course curriculum is slightly relevant from the job point of view, but can't assure that it makes you industry-ready. Semester exams are slightly difficult, but it's easy to score because of so many repeated questions.

About my CMRIT experience .

Faculty: Teachers are usually well qualified, from M.Tech to Ph.D. holders. There will be three internal assessments and one external exam, which will be conducted by VTU. It's easy to pass internal assessment because hardly anyone fails anyone in internals, but external exams will be conducted by VTU, which is strict, and you need 33 out of 100 to pass it.

Overall, the placement is decent.

Faculty: There are many branches in CMRIT College, such as CSC, information science, mechanical civil engineering, and EEE. Almost all the teachers in CMRIT have completed their Ph.D. There are 3 internal exams and one final exam, which are converted into 100 marks. The exam conducted by VTU University is a bit tough and they do not give high marks. Sometimes, many marks are deducted and students fail. After that, a boy submitted a report, and it cost 600. If he passes, then the VTU will work to earn mon...

CMRIT: My experience at CMRIT as a first year AI and DS engineering student.

Faculty: Faculty here at CMRIT are very friendly and interactive. They take care of students by making them understand subjects and improve both theoretical and practical knowledge. The curriculum is not stressful. There are two internal exams per semester, and this college is affiliated with the VTU curriculum.

My college life with unexpectd twists.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful they teach each concept clearly and provide efficient sources for studies all are qualified teachers. For the second question yes they are making is learn coding so that it's helpful for industry purpose. Semester exams are ready but main problem is in VTU board. They do not correct papers correctly, passing students get failed, failed students get passed it's particularly a scam too earn money through re-evaluation, re-exams.

It's above average when it comes to faculty and teaching, but infrastructure could be better.

Faculty: Faculty is very good at CMRIT. They explain everything again and again as many times as you ask, and they'll clear your doubts. They are always there for students to guide and support them. We also have mentors who analyze our performance and guide us accordingly.

CMR Institute of Technology.

Faculty: The teachers provide well-rounded education which is relevant to the course curriculum. CMRIT follows the VTU curriculum. The semester exams are easy to ace if you have prepared well. The college has established many clubs for student-faculty interaction with the industry. Alumni talks are held which provide students connection with the companies they aim for.

Faculty: Our teachers and faculty are the best. They are very helpful and always motivate students to participate in more clubs and activities that will help boost their resumes. The semester exams are not that difficult but manageable if one studies properly.

Good infrastructure and facilities.

Faculty: The teachers are helpful and have good knowledge of teaching. They help us with everything that can be done by them; also, they give us more opportunities to showcase our talent. The courses are relevant; all the subjects are good, and we also get good knowledge from them, which will be helpful in providing jobs.

The college is good and the placements are fine.

Faculty: The academic schedule is relatively hectic, with more than 15 lectures per week. Exams are given each semester and monthly. Students can score well by studying just before the exams, or by simply writing from the textbook. There are not many industry visits, but practical discussions around case studies take place often. The library is well-stocked, and teachers help students with resources.
