This college is not good in the history of engineering.

Placements: Around 60% of students get placed in our course. The highest salary pacakge offered is 3.6 LPA. The average salary pacakge offered is 1 LPA. TCS, Infopark, etc., are the top recruiting companies. Almost 70% of students get internships from our course as a trainee or low-level developers in companies.

I am absolutely dissatisfied because of infrastructure and lack of facilities.

Placements: Top companies, including Cisco, IBM, Oracle, TCS, Infosys, etc., visit our college for placements. The top salary package offered here includes 49 LPA. More than 60% of the students got placed from the IT branch. Among them, a good percentage of students got placed in dream category companies. Only a few internships were offered here.

The college is situated in Kerala and it is very scenic.

Placements: 60% of the students are placed in service based companies like TCS, Wipro. The average salary is around 3.2 lacs and the highest salary is 15 lacs (one of the student from IT Branch got placed ). TCS is the biggest recruiter with 125 placements. Companies like TCS, wipro, Musigma, Verizon India (Pool campus ), Snapdeal. Most of the students with at least one backlog till final year are placed in service based companies.

CUSAT is vey bad. No study, only politics are there in the college.

Placements: The college has very poor placement. In 2018, only 23 students got placed from this college with a very low salary. Only TCS recruited 23 students and give the package of 3.2 lacs only. No other company come on this campus. I am a student of this college, and I am so worried about my placement.

Real life in Cochin University College of Engineering, Kuttanad.

Placements: Around 10-20 students were placed. The highest package was 50k and the lowest was 20k. Companies that came were TCS, Wipro, HCL, Adobe, L&T Infotech. For internship, we must find them on our own from outside. The placements were good according to my opinion.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty, no placement, no infrastructure, no facility.

Placements: No placement for core branches. It was a complete waste of 4 years and almost 7-8 lacs rupees. However, placements in software branches were good. But in core branches like civil, mechanical, electrical as well as EC, placement is 0.

Talking about the second campus i.e. CUCEK is place like hell. They’re not providing basic facilities. Students are staying in that village called Pullincunnu. College was never concerned about how students are staying. They just want to fill their pocket by fund raised by government. Whatever marks students are scoring, they are because of the hard labor of students and not because of the faculty. If students depend on faculty of CUCEK then even God can't save him from getting supplementar...

Too much politics is leading this college to hell. Placement is poor. Too much partiality between North and South Indian students. Cut off to pass in every subject is very high. It’s not a good place to begin the Engineering career. Too much corruption on the basis of Exam supplementary fees.

Very poor faculty members and most of them are guest lectures. Most of the time strike are there and partiality exists in internal marks. Few faculty members comes to college just to give their presence. Never complete the syllabus. University doesn't have any timeline for conducting exams, publishing results and least bothered about student's future. It’s common to fail in exam and pass in revaluation. But they publish revaluation results after conducting the supplementary exams and it is dou...

Cucek is not good for north Indian students.

Placements: There is no placement in core sector for electrical students. If they want placement then TCS wipro and other it companies are only option. In 2016 placement of EEE is not more than 50 percent and all are in it companies they do not offer more than 3 - 4 Lacs CTC. Not good for placement. No company visit campus for internship.
