B.Tech. in Agricultural Engineering - Batch of 2022
4.4
5Placements4Infrastructure4Faculty5Crowd & Campus Life4Value for Money
Infrastructure is 4/5 but lack of good administration.
Placements: Excellent platform for freshers to show up their talents. We had a batch of around 72 students out of which around 33 got on-campus placements and some had their own business or higher education plans. The minimum CTC recieved was about 2.25 lacs per annum and an average of about 3 lac per annum was recieved by all passing candidates with 4.5 lacs as the highest. Among the top recruiters were nestle, tata and mahindra companies with massive packages above 4 lacs. Top roles were sales executives, human resource manager, sales executive officer, soil engineer.
Infrastructure: College had fair amount of resources in terms of literature and digital services with campus Wi-Fi of speed around 250-500kbps but library was well-equipped with literature. Hostel were kind of old fashioned dormatories and cubicals of space 3 and 1 student respectively. Mess food was also at par with around 3 times dinner with paneer or chicken at night and paranthas in morning. Hostel had good playground for cricket and volleyball.
Faculty: Experienced staff of scientists, associate and assistant professors who had enormous contribution to their field. Every teacher had around 4-7 review papers and research articles published and seniors were also very good. I would rate the teaching quality as 4.5/5 based on my own experiences. There are around 22 courses divided into 7 semester and 1 semester for training. There are also some supporting courses such as library and communication which can provide extra knowledge. One credit seminar where students give presentation to the staff in one lecture on the topic of their own interest. In a semester there are around 4 types of exams namely 1st hourly mid term 2nd hourly and final term exams of composition 10-15,25-35,10-15 and 35 respectively cummulating 100 marks and 30 for practicals in some subjects. Passing marks are 60 out of 100.
Other: After JEE Mains, I had got this college by choice and I had heard very good things from my locals. As I took admission college was so enorm I hardly able to lookup for my classes at day 1. There is lack of administration and new students are unable to find their own classrooms at their day 1. Overall experience was good due to friends and supporting advisors. I wish there would be advancement in the digital labs for better coping up with technologies. College youth festival is the favorite of majorities as it provides means to know each other well and allow students to show their talents which they carry as we all belong from different areas. Also, prize distribution system is good as it cheers and promotes the students for more participation in events occuring. Also, there is an inter-departmental sports competition held every year of all games such as cricket, volleyball, badminton tennis, hockey and basketball.

B.Tech. in Agricultural Engineering - Batch of 2021
2.2
4Placements1Infrastructure1Faculty2Crowd & Campus Life3Value for Money
I am very disappointed with the facilities and teaching at the college.
Placements: Students are taken into the college by their EAMCET rank, which varies with the category of individual. The cut-off rank for OC is 28,000, for BC is 93,000 and SC and ST is 1,05,000. The highest salary offered is Rs. 28,000 per month and the lowest salary offered is Rs. 16,000 per month. ITC and tobacco came to the college, which is the top companies till the time. Superintendent role in the company is offered many times. In our course, the highest salary package offered is 3.6 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 1.5 LPA. Almost 100% of the students got an internship as marks are awarded for their performance.
Infrastructure: Facilities in this college are not that good, but they are satisfactory for students. Wi-Fi is provided here. Labs are provided, but they are not that used. Classrooms are satisfactory, and the library is provided and widely used. For sports, there is a ground, but faculty members don't encourage sports. They won't provide materials. There are 3 hostels with satisfactory facilities. Food is average in taste but has wide varieties. Canteen is the worst, and sports are below average.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified with basic M.tech in their respective department. They are knowledgeable, and the quality of teaching is satisfactory. There are no practical sessions in our college. This college has a very compacted system as per education, and it is relevant to private high schools. Lots of record work and assignments are given frequently, so there is time for students for developing their skills in respective branches.
Other: I have chosen this college by expecting growth in a different genre. However, I came to know that there is no other development as compared to degree students. I wish the college to improve the quality of teaching, more number of students and better sports activities. Events are conducted very frequently, but there is no impact on students. Scholarships are not sanctioned properly, but examinations are conducted properly with no disturbance.
