The infrastructure, library, study atmosphere and faculty are good.
Placements: MS mass communication in Andhra University has 30 seats in the self-financed quota. Journalism in Andhra University has 30 seats for regular. The salary can be a minimum of 10,000 per month in the private sector. Students start their careers as a reporter in print media. A lot of opportunities are there in electronic media like Eenadu, Sakshi channels etc. There are limited opportunities in the public sector like public relations officers, Doordarshan etc.
Infrastructure: The college has good hostel facilities on the campus. The infrastructure in my department is nice. My department consists of 7 huge rooms, 3 classrooms, 1 seminar hall, 1 library, and 1 digital classroom. Wi-Fi facilities are available in the journalism department. Good lab facilities are available. Medical facilities are good. There is a hospital in Andhra University. A gym, a ground for sports and events are available. Lots of canteens are there, but the food is not bad.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful to improve student's knowledge. In addition to reading, how to duck in the community is also taught. They provide awareness of everything that happens in the community. They provide awareness on career growth. Every student wants to study at Andhra University. The teachers discuss each subject thoroughly. Teachers focus on each student to improve their efficiency. The teaching quality in AU is good.
Other: I joined the course to find out where the community is going. I joined this course to increase my knowledge in terms of society. It is very necessary to bring change in this course to suit the changing times. The campus has an excellent atmosphere for study. We have a lot of enjoyment on campus. Lots of students study at Andhra University. The campus crowd is good. The campus surroundings are excellent.
