Placements: The placements for our seniors batch and our batch were very good. Few companies that visited the college were Ford, GM, Hyundai, Whirlpool, Tolaram, Mu-Sigma, and Latent View. The package range was around 4-7 LPA. 100% placements were achieved. The roles of a data analyst, supply chain, industrial engineer, etc. were offered.
Placements: The placements for the college is good for the computer science and the IT department. But for the department, the chances are less and restricted. The placement cell is not taking necessary steps for the betterment of the placement opportunities for other departments. And for computer science and IT too, they are not negotiating the package. They have the power to negotiate.
Placements: We do have good placements like Hindu and many press companies. Also, we do get some of the ink companies from Dubai for the printing branch. Regular placements are from companies like Chennai Micro Print and Parkson. Our senior batch had placements in ink companies from Dubai and Parkson. There are also many bulk companies that are IT-related in which students of any department can go for placements Cognizant and TCS are the companies that come for bulk placements. ...
Placements: The placements are outstanding in CEG, Anna University. Various companies such as Microsoft, Myntra, Amazon, Flipkart and much more visit our college with a huge salary package of 20 LPA-28 LPA. Several other companies also come to the campus with a salary package ranging from 3 LPA - 20 LPA. Almost 50-80% of the UG and PG students get placed. The internships are based on students academic performance in addition to the company's written test.
Placements: The core branches have promising placements with at least 5 LPA as the minimum package. But this is not the case for other branches. As far as my department is concerned, the placements are very poor. Placement cell plays a double game. They are least bothered about minority departments and the non-core branches.
Placements: Our senior students got placed well and in good companies. 50% students got placed. The highest salary is Rs. 28,000 and the lowest salary is Rs. 8500. Wipro visited and software developer role was offered. The highest stipend offered is Rs. 15000 and the lowest stipend offered is Rs. 8000. But most of our students struggled to go in placements due to the lack of aptitude questions and answers.
Placements: More than 90 percent of the students got placed. The highest salary offered was around Rs. 15 LPA and the lowest salary offered was around Rs. 2.5 LPA. The average salary was about Rs. 4.5 LPA. The companies that visited are Microsoft, Samsung R&D, Accenture, Infosys, Latent View, Visteon, Nvidia, Broadcom, Adobe, Mu Sigma, Cisco, CSC, Polaris, etc.
Placements: Placements started with Microsoft's arrival. Many companies like Amazon, Paypal, Gigamonn, Zoho, Adobe, Samsung, Infosys R&D, etc. visited. The highest pay was about 28 lakhs per annum. There were bulk placements too from TCS, CTS and Infosys. A few companies offered the internship. The highest stipend was 50,000 per month for two months. Companies focusing students from other branches like ECE and mechanical also visited our college. Some of them were Hyundai, Qualcomm, Saint-Gobain, Wipro, Air...
Placements: Both IT sectors and core relevant companies provide opportunities for our department. Through the college seniors have approached many core companies and they do get average salaries and a few get high salaries. There are student placement coordinators to carry forward all activities. The stipend allowance ranges between 10k and 25k on an average. Companies provide salary packages from 3 lakhs to 10 lakhs per annum. Some students aren't interested in placements and if 60% students in the college...
Placements: The placement is good. We have at least fifteen to twenty core companies and fifty to sixty IT companies. There were management companies for on-campus interviews. You can use CEG brand for off-campus interviews. CUIC is working very hard making the students' future bright. One thing is you have to be serious about the placements.
Placements: In our batch, almost all got placed within December. The maximum package was 21 lakhs and the minimum went up to 3.5 lakhs. Airtel, Samsung, Cisco, Nokia, Caterpillar and Qualcomm were the companies which visited. Apart from these, software firms like Wipro, CTS, TCS and Accenture also visited and recruited people.
Placements: I got placed at an analytics company. The placements that come every year are really great and a lot of students get a wide range of opportunities to get placed in their dream companies. Being the top engineering college and for the name that it has, most of the companies come into CEG and recruit a lot of candidates. Also, many students get a pre-placement offer while they are still undergoing their undergraduate program during their internship period.
Placements: Placements in our batch were mostly in IT companies with entry-level roles like Software Developer and Software Engineer. Around 90% of the batch was placed and the average package offered was around 5 LPA. Microsoft and Samsung were some famous companies who were a part of placements.
Placements: The placements are really good. I got placed in the starting of the 4th year. Core companies(Vedanta, Bhel, GMMCO, Thriveni Earthmovers Pvt. Ltd.) and IT companies like Google, ZOHO, Accenture came for the campus recruitment. The college has a separate building for campus interview.
Placements: Only 7 candidates were placed in the core and a half of the class was placed in IT companies since we have dual placement. Core companies like LnT, Afcon, Wabag and Coramendal came. The highest salary offered by them is 7 lakh/annum. In IT, we got TCS, CTS, Accenture, Infosys and IBM with an average package of 3 lakh/annum.
Placements: The placements for the last year batch are little lower than the previous one. It is because of the prevailing instabilities in the industries, as my seniors told me. Lowest pay - 2.5 lacs per annum, highest pay - 21 lacs per annum. Amazon, Freshdesk, Microsoft were the companies in which students were placed for higher salaries. Other than those we had Caratlane, Samsung, Cognizant, Accenture, TCS as other recruiters. Very few people only got the internships. The stipends rangeD from 3500-5000...
Placements: The placement scenario for my batch is poor when compared to my senior batch, but still, the C.S students have very good opportunities. So far, around 100 companies visited but most of them are for computer science. The 3rd-year students usually get the internships, but only a minimal amount of the students receive offers. Those who are getting placed will get a decent salary ranging from 5 LPA to 24 LPA.
Placements: I would say that the placement was above average in my batch. If you are patient enough, you would land up in a good company. Right from the lowest to the top companies had visited the college for placements, and there were lots of preferences to the guys with higher CGPA, which could have been avoided. The salaries offered would range from 3 LPA to 15 LPA. The companies right from Aricent, Accenture and IBM to Microsoft and Amazon had visited the campus.
Placements: We get a good placements from the info-tech companies like Infosys,TCS etc. We are also allowed to be clubbed with mechanical department students and sit along with them for placements which includes companies like Renault, Ford etc. There are specific companies that look for guys for our department like TVS- Sundaram Clayton etc.
Placements: The placement has two phases: one is core companies and the other is a bulk drive. The bulk drive consists of IT companies like TCS, CTS, and Infosys. The placement was not bad but it is not up to mark as the previous placement. The salary ranges from 13 LPA in management companies to 3.3 LPA in bulk drives for my department. The students were offered with Junior Engineer roles. The internship is not compulsory for the other departments but for us, one-month industrial training is compulsory. ...
