Best College for MCA. Not today But tomorrow.

Placements: Placement of CEG was very good till 2016, after that it goes on decreasing. I don't know why it is, maybe because of students. We can't blame the college for placements. All top MNC companies like Microsoft, JP, SAP, etc. Come to recruit the students of MCA. The highest package is around 17 lacs. And the average package is around 6 LPA. It changes every year.

Placements: About 10% of students got placed in PPO. Top recruiting companies in the past batch were Afcon, L&T, and Murugappa group. In the past batch, 100% of students got their summer internship, and we have two placement cells, one at the department and the other at the central level.

Overall, this college provides ultimate freedom to pursue what you want.

Placements: Placements were less for the civil engineering department in core companies. There are different reasons for such a drastic decline in the civil engineering industry. Moreover, companies hesitate to recruit freshers. Students must be prepared.

The review of Anna University.

Placements: Placements are good for the students of the marketing domain but not for the students of other specialisations. The placement cell is concentrating more on engineering students than MBA students. We had a pre-placement programme which was very helpful and enlightening. I hope they provide placements for all specialisations from next year.

Placements: Almost 40% of the students got placed, and a few placements were offered by core companies. This year, 6 students got placed in Caterpillar company with a salary package of 9 lacs per annum, and 10 students got placed in CTS and Infosys with a salary package of 4.2 lacs per annum, and some students got placed in Myntra. Few students got placed in a Japanese company, and they are trying to learn Japanese.

CEG a honest review by a CEGIAN.

Placements: The placements were decent during my time. Core company placements were there but they took less people. But, in whichever stream you are IT people will hire you. Very good companies like Citi, Polaris, Nvidia, Airtel, Microsoft, Amazon, wallsfargo came.

Awesome college if you are in the correct department.

Placements: Placements for our department were nil. But our previous seniors were placed in simple optics companies like: Appasamy associates and general optics. The salary would be around 15-20k a month which is equivalent to a Diploma guy's salary. The roles were optics design engineer and sales & marketing roles. One student from our department got an internship at Department of Atomic Energy, India because of his outstanding score. Two of the others in the 2018 pass out batch got opportunities in IIT Ma...

This is the best place to transform yourself.

Placements: When it comes to placements, CEG always stands ahead in offering high paid jobs for students. As far as the placements of the geoinformatics brach are concerned, you will have a few numbers of core companies, but they offer low packages. However, mass recruiting companies like TCS, CTS, and Infosys, etc., visit the campus for placements. There is a chance for you to get into product-based companies if you have good knowledge of programming languages. About 75% of the students who attended placem...

Placements: Excellent placement when you are best enough to manage the base knowledge which the course curriculum possess. The initial salary offering was about 4 to 5 Lacs per annum. The specialised departmental institutes are funding by various government departments and it has running eminent projects in various fields.

Placements: The strength of our class is 60 students, out of which almost 25 students got placed and a few got internships offers (full-time offers might be provided after the internship based on their performance). Around 12 companies visited our campus through the placement cell (CUIC). A review of College Of Engineering, Guindy.

Placements: At that time, we only had single placement opportunities unlike dual placements in other colleges. But we were happy since everyone would get a 50% higher chance in placements. Both IT and core companies came for placements, but bulk recruitments were done by IT companies, and many students, especially from our group, opted out as they preferred to go for higher studies.

Good exposure and international recognition, but dissatisfied because of placements for EEE.

Placements: Quality of companies that visit the college for placements has been gradually declining over the years, both in terms of packages and profiles. People in the electrical department tend to get placed in the IT sector which is nowhere related to their course. The highest salary package offered is 17 LPA, and it is offered by Samsung, Bangalore. The lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA by an average company.
