Placements: I think our seniors had very good placement offers from mass recruiting and core companies. Placements for our batch are better than the previous batches. Popular companies like Caterpillar recruit freshers with a package of 7 lakhs per annum, and it is definitely worth it.
Placements: There was a special unit named Centre for University Industrial Collaboration (CUIC) which does an effective and efficient interaction on behalf of college with various industries. However, the placements have reduced in recent years, and it was the same with almost all engineering colleges throughout India. However, the placements were very good for some departments like computer science, information technology, MCA, EEE, medical physics, mechanical, and civil engineering. Other departments get...
Placements: Placements in the college are good. Most of the students get placed in IT. Even core companies preferred to recruit IT and CSC students this year. Students prefer to choose a career in their respective field, and there are no ways to chose our career here. We have to go with the flow, or we have to go for other things like UPSC or GATE and may opt for higher studies.
Placements: Material science and engineering is a relatively new course in CEG. It is a research-oriented course. Many core companies and IT companies recruit students from our campus, and they also provide internships. Ashok Leyland, Caterpillar, and TVS are some of the companies that visit the campus. The placement process is still going on for 2019 batch. Almost 10-12 got placed in core companies and almost 30-35 got placed in IT and other management related companies from a class of 60 students. While s...
Placements: There are huge recruiters such as Amazon, Microsoft as well as bulk recruiters such as cognizant, tcs, Infosys, Accenture. The placement is overall good but it depends on your department background. There are many job offers to core departments such as computer Science, ECE, mechanical.
Placements: Placements were very good and whoever opted for placements got a job. Only students with arrears had difficulty in placements. Around 20% of the batch opted for higher studies (MBA, MS). The highest - 19LPA. Average - 10 LPA. Companies - Amazon, Microsoft, Samsung, Groupon, CISCO, Chronus, Zoho, HP, Dell, Ericsson, Amadeus, Accolite, CTS, TCS, Accenture. Roles Offered - Mostly software engineer (or) Developer. Internship Companies - very few like Amazon, Microsoft only. Around 10 ppl got interns...
Placements: 65 students out of 70 students got placements. The highest salary package offered was 11.2 LPA, offered by PGCIL (2 students were offered). The average package offered was 4 LPA or 5 LPA. Companies like Wells Fargo India Solutions, PGCIL, Kone Elevators, CTS, IBM, Infosys, EXL, Latent View, Goldman Sachs, L&T, Mahindra, Daimler, Exide, Maruti Suzuki, Visteon, Airtel, Rotork, and Polaris have visited the college to recruit the students of EEE. The companies like Samsung, CCD, Ford and many well-e...
Placements: The placements and internship both are really good. Almost all toppers from Tamil Nadu study here. Most of the toppers prefer ECE, then Mech followed by CSE. One should get 199 cut off in Tamil Nadu board to get into this college. Almost all of my batch mates got placed. Companies like Flipkart, Google, GS, DeShaw, Microsoft, Google, Samsung, Amazon, GroupOn visit out campus. They also visit us for internship. For internship too they offer very high stipend around 70000 INR.
Placements: Almost every company in India, come to the college for the placements. The fact is that the opportunity here, is like an ocean and we have to make sure to take this opportunity. Not only for UG, but also for PG we have such an awesome placement. The professors who handle all those placement activities does everything for the welfare of the student and tries hard for the students to be placed so that they can have wonderful future. In our batch, though the PG had lesser companies than UG, the per...
Placements: There is a placement cell in our college. Placements were held on the whole for students including B.E and M.E of all the departments. Only 5 IT companies namely Hcl, wipro, cts, tcs, infosys held campus in our college. No core company placements were held for students in M.E High Voltage Engineering. No internships has been arranged from our division for us.
Placements: The placements are good when compared with other colleges and university departments. The circuit branches like EEE, ECE, CSE, Bio M.Ed show a considerable placement ratio, but the worth is not appreciable. The branches of printing technology, Industrial Engineering and Mining have good placements as they are rare departments all over Tamilnadu. The civil department has a very bad placement ratio. The mechanical department also has good placements.
Placements: Placements were pretty good when compared to the previous batches. Computer Science engineering had a lot of top companies taking a lot of students. Salary packages ranged from 25 Lacs per annum to 3 Lacs per annum. Companies like Citi corp, Goldman Sachs, HCL, Siemens, Mahindra came for placements.
Placements: Placement allotted for everyone but few students are placed. Many industries come for the placement. The highest salary offered for students is 10laks per annum and the lowest salary is 2.5lak per annum. Only 10 out of 1 or 2 students are placed in placements and others placed in off campus placements.
Placements: The college offers a very good placement opportunity compared to other colleges in the state. Wide range of companies visits for all the departments which includes all the top companies of the respective fields. Around 300 companies visit every year. But 75% of the companies are IT companies.
Placements: The placements are good for IT, CSE, ECE and EEE but for my branch, it is quite opposite. Placements and package are less for my course. The college is not good for my course. Even there is no accreditation for my course. Don't study B.E. in Agricultural and Irrigation Engineering course at my college, but it is good for IT, EC, CSE, EEE and mechanical.
Placements: Our college is the best place for campus placements.100% guarantee for campus placements. Many core companies and software companies also come for campus interview like amazon, flipkart, cts, tcs and also media companies. Anna university college students will get more preference than other college students.
Placements: Our College students have been offered placements from the top companies of the world such as Microsoft, Samsung, Siemens etc. The lowest salary offered was 25,000 per month and the highest salary was 1.84 Lacs per month. The roles offered were Graduate Engineering Trainee, executive.
Placements: The placements of our batch and of our seniors also was very good. Since it is a well established college and has a very good reputation hence we never faced any issue regarding placements. Almost all the students got well placed. The highest package was around 7 lac and the lowest package being 2.5 lac. Giants like Cognizant, HCL, Honeywell, TCS, IBM and many more companies visited the campus. Around 80 percent of the students got internship from the college. The highest stipend was like 30 tho...
Placements: The placement cell CUIC of the college is active in bringing core companies for placement. Several companies like L&T and many other environmental consultancy agencies visit the campus for placements. There will be a continuous placement update about career opening opportunities available in the field.
Placements: The placements are happening on the campus. Since I was a working professional, I don't require any placement, but a couple of my friends got good placements in well-reputed companies. Although the remuneration part was a little lower side for the fresher's, but it is okay.
