Good college with decent placements.

Placements: The placements offered by the college are good, and they have 100 percent placements. Multinational companies like Infosys, Cognizant, TCS, Wipro hire the students in bulk numbers ranging from 200-400 people. Many core companies also visit the college. They only select a few students, on an average, ten students per batch. The salary packages offered are good.

College of Engineering Guindy - CEG Chennai.

Placements: Placements were good. But the companies are not core companies. They're from IT and few other platforms. We were looking for companies which are related to our department. The department needs to send the students for more industrial visits so they can get a lots of opportunities in core companies.

Your life is in your hands, so work hard and get placed.

Placements: We got around 40 companies from Microsoft to Infosys. A lot other small companies offer placements for MCA, but comparing to B.Tech, we got fewer companies each year. You have a chance to get placed with the high package if you are talented and working hard.

I had an amazing experience. The placements are good on the campus.

Placements: There are 100% placements for the students in the department of computer science. The companies like Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, PayPal, Flipkart, Citicorp, Amazon, and so on recruited the students as interns and full time. The CTC offered to many students was in the range between 15 LPA to 20 LPA. At least 20% of the students from each department got internships in the college.

Satisfied with the college infrastructure and culturals.

Placements: The placements are good. About 80 to 85% students are placed in a good company with a decent salary. Very good companies approach sometimes, but if you have knowledge, it would be the place for developing it. The highest salary is the package of 15 lacs per annum from Microsoft company. The lowest salary will be 3 lacs per annum.

A review on Anna University (CEG campus).

Placements: Almost all the engineering colleges invite IT companies. CEG also invites IT companies for master's degree students, but for UG guys, there are not many core companies that come here to recruit. In my batch, a single person got selected for TCS while another person got selected for Hyundai.

No other college can be as heaven as CEG.

Placements: A well-reputed institution, where we can find the top companies recruiting highly qualified students. Every year, we achieve100% placement in the top rated companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, etc., with good salary package. The life is settled when you are a CEG college.

Amazing and marvellous college and satisfied with this college for the past three years.

Placements: The placements are there for the non-arrear students, and many of our seniors have got placed in MNCs and many media companies. Some of them are working in cine industry, editors, photographers, and so on. This platform gives us a safe and secure zone.

My review about the college.

Placements: The placements are too good. All my seniors are placed with good packages and expecting the same for us. Even though people go with IT companies like TCS, CTS, core companies also come to our college and recruiting our college students. So 100% placement is guaranteed.

Great campus with good infrastructure, good teachers, but disappointed with the placements.

Placements: The placements for our batch was a let down as compared to the previous years. Also this time it was a "one student -one job" rule. So after getting placed in a company, it's not possible to attend another company's tests. The placements for CS and IT branches are good as always, but for branches like ECE, EE, MECH, CIVIL, it is low. Not many core companies visit us.

The college has good infrastructure, and faculty members can get great exposure to the world.

Placements: The placements for IT, CS EEE, ECE, are good core companies come for the campus interview, and students who have above 8.5 CGPA are allowed to attend the campus interview. While for civil engineering the number of core companies is less (only L&T) come for campus interview. The companies like Amazon, Google, CTS, Cognizant are offering internships for students. The maximum stipend which a student got was Rs. 30,000 per month.

College with better placement, sport, festive event. The student will be best in the education.

Placements: More than 200 companies visit our college for the campus for holding the campus interview. The college provides the centre named as the centre for University, and industrial collaboration was providing an infrastructural test, interview to the student. The core engineering industries, IT and IT enable services, manufacturing industries are approaching the university for the campus.

A good place to do MBA in Tamil Nadu.

Placements: The placements are good, as in, 30 out of 60 students get selected in the campus. Students have to make efforts to bring in companies for recruitment. Industrial relations department of Anna University takes care of placements. They even provide internship opportunities.

Best knowledge park to improve oneself.

Placements: Assured 90% placements in Anna University. Our campus placement cell bring all the top companies such as Google, Microsoft, Ebay, so on and core companies. Also our placement cell will conduct the guidance programme for the student. The companies usually offer the Techie role.

College and university is excellent. Department under bad circumstances due to teachers.

Placements: We underwent some campus placement recruitment. But they were focusing on the engineering courses. I am from media sciences department, and I am no way nearer to the engineering capabilities. We expected companies are particularly focusing media, but till now nothing on our way. The students selecting media studies in Anna university expecting the recruitment can think twice before they place the leg.

Very well-satisfied with all the facilities available except academics.

Placements: The placements are good, but the students are expected to maintain a minimum CGPA to enter the placements. It stops the students who have talents but couldn't shine in academics to enter into the placement cell. It has been said that the placement is up to 95%. But I think it is not so. The students are also not trained well prior entering placements.

Good infrastructure but dissatisfied with academic administration.

Placements: Top companies will visit the college. The salary packages are good. The students can try for the placements only if their profile is all clear with a decent CGPA. The students are not given proper training before entering into the placements. Overall, the placements are good if we have a good profile with a good CGPA.

The faculty and the infrastructure of the college are awesome.

Placements: The placements are not better than before. The scope for engineering jobs is down nowadays. Only few core companies have arrived for recruitment and selected few students only. The placements are average. University must take steps to increase the placement opportunities for all the departments. Preplacement training should be followed strictly.

Really good college, faculty. Amazing infrastructure and good facilities.

Placements: The placements in the college are very good. The department of printing technology offers a minimum package of 3 LPA while the highest can be up to 10-11 LPA, depending on the student. Printing technology offers 90-100% placement, and my seniors have got placed in good companies like ITC, The Hindu, Infosys, etc. The average salary package is 3-4 LPA. The students are offered jobs in marketing, core and IT sector. Internships depend on the students, but departments help the student to get the im...
