The best fisheries college in India.
Placements: Everyone who has studied in this college is doing something good in their life. Some are in the government sector, and some are in the private sector. A few students opted for higher studies and most of the students involved in the research field. Everyone has a bright career after studying in at this college.
Infrastructure: All the necessary facilities are available in the college. The campus has a separate academic building, auditorium, health centre, indoor games, a huge and separate wet lab etc. There are a total of 6 departments in postgraduation. A few more facilities like canteen, a huge residential complex for staff members, two separate hostels for UG and PG boys and girls, etc., are available.
Faculty: Our college has about 25 highly qualified professors, associate professors and assistant professors. All of them are polite, helpful and knowledgeable. Our college offers about 25 seats for the bachelor of fisheries science and about six seats for the master of fisheries science. Our college offers many courses like aquaculture, fisheries extension and social sciences, aquatic animal health, fish genetics, breeding and fish processing technology etc. Our college offers four seats in every department of master's programme.
Other: Every month, many training programs are organised in different departments. Every student studying masters gets a scholarship of Rs. 3,000 per month. This college organises many sports and cultural programmes throughout the year.

A review about College of Fisheries, Central Agricultural University.
Placements: Almost 60-70% of the students got government jobs, and others got jobs as research scholars or private jobs. All the students from our senior batch and our batch got placements. The lowest salary Rs. 20,000 per month. The roles offered are the improvement in the fishery sector.
Infrastructure: The college has Wi-Fi, central lab with AC, library, separate medical hall, classrooms with projectors and canteen. There is a sports hall with basketball, table tennis court, big field for cricket and football. Hostel with a dining hall is available for girls and boys separately.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified and well-known. They are very helpful. The teaching methods are in advance with field exposure (within the states and also all over India). Every batch got 30 numbers of students included girls and boys.

M.F.Sc. | Candidates having Bachelor's degree with 3 years duration will not be considered for admission through ICAR AIEEA (PG)-2023 in AU under ICAR-AU system except in few courses at two ICAR-Deemed to be Universities (DUs), viz. IARI and NDRI for which the eligibility criteria of the concerned ICAR-DU, including admission of graduates having passed with 3 years' degree are eligible for admission. Candidate should not below 19 years of age as on 31.08.2023. |
B.F.Sc. | Candidate who have obtained any Diploma or vocational course after matriculation will not be eligible. The medium of instruction in the admitting University will be English. The minimum age limit should be 16 years of age as on 31.08.2023. |
