Bharati Vidyapeeth College of Nursing is a private college and a constituent of Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University (BVDU). It was established in 1992 and became a constituent of BVDU in 1996. It is accredited with an “A” Grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and is approved by the Maharashtra Nursing Council, Mumbai and Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi.
Presently, the College offers BSc Nursing, P.B.BSc Nursing, MSc Nursing, PhD and GNM programmes in various specialisations of Nursing. Every year, the College admits a total of180 students under each programme.

Bharati Vidyapeeth College of Nursing Admission 2021: BSc Nursing, P.B.BSc Nursing
At the UG level, the College offers BSc Nursing and P B BSc Nursing programmes. The duration of BSc Nursing is four years, whereas P B BSc Nursing has a duration of two years. Both the programmes are offered under the annual pattern. Under BSc Nursing, students need to undergo an internship practical of 48 hours per week. Bharati Vidyapeeth College of Nursing MSc Nursing Admission 2021
At the PG level, the College offers a full-time MSc Nursing programme with a duration of two years. It is offered in five different specialisations with an overall intake of 26 students. As a part of the course curriculum, the College conducts lesson planning, industrial visits, educational visits, field visits, annotated bibliography and more for MSc students. The programme will cover subjects like Oncology, Neurosciences, Orthopedic, Nephro-Urology, Gastro Enterology, etc. Admission to MSc Nursing is entrance-based, and candidates are shortlisted based on the marks secured in the entrance exam. The College offers a PhD programme in Nursing at the doctorate level. PhD is offered with a minimum duration of three years and a maximum of five. The seat intake of the programme is six. BVDU conducts a common entrance test for admission to PhD programme. The final selection of students is based on the marks secured in the entrance exam. Bharati Vidyapeeth College of Nursing GNM Admission 2021
Apart from the degree courses, the College also offers a three-year diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM). The programme is offered under an annual pattern with a seat intake of 50 students. - Lila Poonawalla Scholarship: It is a merit-cum-need-based scholarship for girls. Candidates, who are a citizen of India and planning to pursue bachelors/ masters, can apply for this scholarship. The annual family income of the students should be less than Rs 3.50 lakh to be eligible for this scholarship.
- BSc students, who have secured at least 60 per cent aggregate in Class 10 and Class 12, are eligible for a scholarship of Rs 1 lakh
