Absolute reality of Cummins staff and the college.

Placements: They don’t guarantee placement and internship, and in my course, it is not there in most of the colleges. So, the companies approaching us for internship and placement are very few, and they select 1-3 candidates maximum. The students’ placement percentage in my particular course would be 30-40%.

Infrastructure: There is Wi-Fi available, and there is a common library. The books that should be added for instrumentation and control engineering are not there; the quantity of books should be increased. The labs are okay, but they also need to improve the performance of the PCs available in the labs.

Faculty: The staff, I would say, are very partial, and they lack knowledge in my field. They provide us with YouTube links, and some of the staff are confused themselves while teaching us the concept. The course curriculum includes old technologies; instead, we should be provided with the latest technologies and skills available.

Other: The course I chose is very interesting, and I’ve also completed my diploma in the same due to my personal interest. There are a sufficient number of events.

Best Engineering college

Placements: I m in computer branch and highest package is 52 and top recruiting companies are among Deutsche Bank, Citibank Barclays, MasterCard and BNY Mellon. Almost 100% of the students receive placement in our college and 80% of students receive internships and the roles offered are software analyst.

Infrastructure: College has very good library. It has silent zone and is it also has discussion zone. There are different sections such as account section. There are building such as computer building, IT department building, mechanical department building and instrumentation department building. The faculties are very good here.

Faculty: Various club are there such as GDSC and finance clubs with music club cybersecurity club and I will enjoy everything here. Exams are not very difficult, they are decent. There is a lot of scope for personal growth and development. There are various different kinds of club and they can be of your interest as well.

Other: Gandhaar is very good completely lovely and lively event. You get everything here from dramas to dance then singing and a poetry, shayaris, stand up, comedies. Everything is available you can take part in them and win. It's best like no other.

Placements: In our batch, almost 100% of students were placed in the 7th semester, and no one was left in the 8th semester either, thanks to the internship opportunities in the 3rd year. I got selected at Being India as a manufacturing engineer with a package of 12 LPA. Many of my friends also secured jobs in high-profile mechanical sector companies with an average package of 10 LPA.

Infrastructure: Our college boasts high-profile facilities and infrastructure spread across a large campus, featuring Wi-Fi-enabled labs with air conditioning. Reading rooms and various labs are available for projects. The campus also houses a mess and canteen at a convenient distance. Sports, games, and events contribute to a great overall experience.

Faculty: Teachers are qualified and some are even pursuing PhD. They teach each and every lesson and topic clearly. It's amazing how they teach and clear all out doubt. They pay attention to every student and do not overlook anyone. They teach so good that i love it.

Placements: About 83% of the ENTC students are placed with the highest package of CTC 50 LPA and an average package of around 12 LPA. The top recruiting companies are D. E. Shaw, Microsoft, Visa, Wells Fargo, Walmart, JP Morgan, etc. About 75% of the students get internships at top companies such as Amazon, Microsoft, Google, Adobe, etc., using a good CGPA or through hackathons conducted. As the college is autonomous, we get to learn software as well as hardware as ENTC students, so many top roles are offered in the course.

Infrastructure: The college is surrounding by lots of trees and greenery with all facilities such as library with reading hall and discussion hall , wifi, all the classrooms have smart panel and projector. There is lab of each subject with all experimental setup. There are three college hostel with good quality of food and wifi. The college gives medical help and encourages in games and sports and also conduct event for sports called pentacle.

Faculty: Cummins college has a very well qualified teaching staff with lot of experience they really help students in each of the difficulty they have. The college focus more on what the student is going to need in professional career and what are they should study. The exams are quite on the difficult level but helps to Crack the interviews and learn many things. The college does not have pass percentage but have 22 credits for one year.

Other: ENTC is the branch in which you learn software as well as hardware which helps to find career options in so many streams of science and technology . The ENTC branch has a bit of difficult core subject and it then becomes difficult to manage both hardware as well as software. As Cummins is known for its best placements its also known for if extracurricular activities, events and fest. The college every year arranges the event Gandhar in which all students enjoy a lot and also a sports event known as pentacle. The college also gives the scholarship to the merit students .
