Infrastructure good, helpful teachers, high recruitment, average placements.

Placements: Only 23 students were placed in my course, the highest package is up to Rs. 1,90,000 PA. And the lowest 60,000 PA. Recruiters are like in pharma industries and life sciences based, fishery, dairy production on large scale industries. Top roles offered in this programme are manufacturer chemist, lecturer, etc.

Almost Satisfaction and the worst Experience of this college.

Placements: Honestly, not much placements are offered in this college, especially for our course B.Sc. In computer Science). Only about 2-3 courses will be there in our college which get placements continuously I. e B.Com BCA BBA etc. The placements are offered by less known companies and packages are also average or sometimes below average.

The college had good placements in the last few years.

Placements: DAV College conducts a bundle of placement drives, both on-campus and off-campus. Each year, a bunch of people gets selected for one or multiple job profiles. Not only this, our college also provides demo placement drives and numerous workshops that help students to be prepared before real drives.

Overall performance is good but improvement is needed.

Placements: As I am pursuing B.Sc. biotechnology, placements after this course are not much in my college. In the current batch of 30-40 students which is going to pass out this year, only 2 students were placed. Top recruiting companies are Infosys, Wipro and a few others. The range of packages offered are 2-5 l. p. a. Top roles offered in my course are medical scribe, data analyst, etc.

The best thing about college is that it is good and lush green.

Placements: Almost 30% of the students got placed in our course. As I am from non- medical course, I guess we are not offered placements by any companies. I have not heard about the placement in my course. I don't know about the percentage of student who got an internship for our course.

Good quality of teaching, quite ordinary infrastructure, no so advanced for exploring research orga.

Placements: I am a student at B.Sc. nonmedical. Like there is getting lots of rush towards engineering courses, so like obviously the number of students is decreasing in my course. There are about 90 or like about 8-9%of non-medical students in my stream and the reason is might there isn't that much internship that there should be for B.Sc. ones. What you have to do is to make more self-efforts and the jobs are offered much for this stream and the jobs offered are of likely to be of teaching only. In fact i...

Our college is worth the money, and some of the world top-rated industries offer placements here.

Placements: Above 60% of the students got placed. The salary packages offered are range from 2.2 LPA to 4 LPA. The placement cell works very aggressively. A good number of companies also visit the campus for placements. But due to less number of service sectors and industries in the nearby area of Jalandhar, hence recruitment and packages offered are not high. The main top roles offered are teacher, programmer, web developer and app developer.

Dissatisfied because of the infrastructure.

Placements: Almost all students willing to get placed do get a job in our college but sometimes their expectation for good salary package isn't fulfilled. As no one from my batch has been recruited for any company but from my senior batch, the best company came was Wipro. The average package offered was about 3 LPA.

Satisfied with the faculty and environmental.

Placements: There are total 40 seats in the biotechnology department. The placement council is urging more students to be placed in best of the companies but as in the areas like Jalandhar the number of companies visiting is less so placements is somehow less. The packages for undergraduate courses vary from 120000 to 380000 that is enough for beginners.
