Placements: 70 percent of the students were placed. The highest package was 64 LPA, the average was 5 LPA, and the lowest was 3 LPA. Tech Mahindra, Fox, Adobe, Manpower, and Kirloskar are the top recruiters; there are many more. An internship was secured at the college, as was a job fair arranged by Mr. Ruturaj Patil, chairperson at DYPCET.
Infrastructure: There is Wi-Fi available. Every classroom has a smartboard, and there are a sufficient number of labs and computers. For mechanical work, the required equipment is also available. The canteen is hygienic. All types of food are available in India, and fast food is also available.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful there is always two-way communication; they are understanding and will help guide you. The course does make you industry-ready if you give your best in academics and also a little bit of the co-curriculars. Semester exams are easy if you study, and the passing criteria is 50% .

Absolutely satisfied with the college.
Placements: Around 11-18% students were placed last year. Since it is an architecture colleges mostly don't have placements drives, our Institute being autonomous has started placements drives. Top package offered last year was around 5,40,000. Students were placed in different architecture firms all over Bangalore, Pune, Kolhapur, Goa, etc.
Infrastructure: Hostel facility is also available. Classrooms are well equipped with wifi, AC, projector and lockers. The quality of food available in hostel is pretty good as well. Sports competitions are also conducted yearly and department wide. The quality of food available at canteen is really great, with different food type to choose from. There's North Indian, Maharashtrian food, Chinese, etc.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and qualified. The student to teachers ratio is also pretty decent. The course curriculum is relevant to our degree and stays up to date with the latest trends and industry standards and males the student industry ready. ISE are pretty easy and mid semester and ESE are anywhere between moderate to difficult.
Other: The best thing about the course is having the ability to understand how every structure around us, is designed, planned and constructed. Having the ability to understand structures, design, aesthetics, planning. College doesn't hold as many events, 2/3 max per year.

DY Patil College of Engineering and Technology has been approved by the All India Council for Technical Education  (AICTE) and the Directorate of Technical Education Government of Maharashtra (DTE GoM). Also, it is affiliated to Shivaji University Kolhapur. The college offers BTech and BArch at the UG level and M.Tech at the PG level. Additionally, the institute also offers lateral entry to the BTech programme.

Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

A: 

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.

Students who wish to join DY Patil College of Engineering need to qualify the entrance exam accepted for their course.
