Allotment of MHT CET 2026 Exam Centres

This year onwards, the MHT CET exam will be conducted in the state of Maharashtra only. Earlier, the MHT CET exam centres were located outside the state as well. The decision was taken by the state authorities to strengthen the security and integrity of the entrance exam. In the past, there have been reports of irregularities at some out-of-state centres. This raised concerns regarding the transparency and conduct of the exam. Which is why it has been decided that the exam will only be conducted in Maharashtra.

Candidates are allotted an exam centre based on the choices of exam city filled by the candidate at the time of filling the application form. The exam city name and address allotted to the candidates are notified via the MHT CET admit card only. The exam city once allotted can not be changed. It is thus advised that candidates fill the exam city preference in the application form carefully.
