Commonly asked questions
On JEE Main Cutoffs

Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.

Good placements in 2022 and really good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Above 70% of students were placed in our course. The average package offered in our course is 8 Lacs. The recruiting companies for our course are Infosys and TCS.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure in our course is good. The quality of the facilities in our hostel is good and the mess, canteen, medical facilities, and sports are good. I also hope you can take admission in this college because its facilities are excellent .
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is much better; yes, it makes the students industrially ready for company interviews. The semester exam at this college is average; 85% is the pass percentage.
Other: I chose this course because I have many opportunities I can also go to electronic field and the computer field. The number of internship opportunities should be increased and the inclusion of IT in courses should be increased.

A good college at low percentile and average fees.
Placements: To gain admission to Data Kala College for the Computer Engineering branch, the minimum percentage required is 60%. The college doesn't offer much in terms of good packages from companies. Therefore, you will need to rely on your own skills to secure a placement. The college provides 3 to 4 internship offers from companies, but overall, the college is average.
Infrastructure: Overall, the infrastructure of the college is good and clean. All facilities, including Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and libraries, are well-maintained and in good condition. The college has its own mess and hostel, which are average. Additionally, the college supports other activities like games and sports and has a canteen.
Faculty: The college is very strict about exams. Faculty members are very good, and the college circulars are also well managed. The college environment is a bit strict but generally good. In this college, you will find all types of students, including toppers, average, and lower-performing students. The college surroundings are quiet and conducive to studying, especially during examination periods.
Other: I chose computer engineering at this college through the CAB process. The college is good and is improving. There are many courses offered by the college. The college celebrates all types of activities, including fests, events, campus connectivity, scholarships, etc.

The college is good. The college celebrates Indian festivals.
Placements: This college is good in nature; staff and teachers are helpful, and teaching is good, but placements are poor. The batch of 2024–27 consists of medium-level students. The college placements involve medium-type companies that visit the college for job requirements.
Infrastructure: My hostel is good; the hostel area is very clean and has a fresh nature. The facilities provided by the hostel include Wi-Fi, hot water, and cultural programs. The hostel has two rectors and 24-hour watchman service. The hostel rules are very strict.
Faculty: The exam is very strict; the rules of exams are very strict. Before the exam, the checking is very strict. The teaching of the teachers is medium. The unit tests are taken at the end of each subject, and all students are required to attend these unit tests. The teachers are strict about the exams.
Other: The college is very far from Pune City, around 100 km, so I am not interested in this college.

Overall college experience is good.
Placements: The placements offered by the college are average, with companies like HDFC, Infosys, and HCL hiring through campus drives. The average package offered is 2.2 LPA. In my class, only two students got placed in HDFC and HCL. The college does not provide any internships, and if they do, it is without any stipend.
Infrastructure: The college campus is surrounded by lush greenery, and Wi-Fi is available in both the laboratory and hostel. The library is well-stocked, and the infrastructure is satisfactory. Hostel rooms are shared, and the food quality is average. There are two canteens available, both of which serve good food. Every Sunday, students organize a sports match where cricket and badminton are played.
Faculty: Although placements are less common, teachers try hard to teach you and place you simply because they are awesome. The course curriculum is related to the course and makes the students industry-ready. Semester exams (CT, midterms, assignments, and practical marks) have an internal weight of 30 marks, and the end of the semester is 70 marks. Both 40% need to pass.
Other: I chose it because I think civil has scope in government, but later I realized I was wrong.

It should provide good placements and knowledgeable teachers.
Placements: There are no placements in the colleges, and the placements we get are not worth it. The salary package offered is under 1 lac or close to it. The average student who scores around 80% will not get any placements. Students who score above 90% in academics will get the placements but not much good.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is available in the computer department, but the network speed is too slow, which makes even searching for something hard. Classrooms are decent. There are not lots of books to read in the library, and the present books are just about study specifics and nothing else than that.
Faculty: Due to COVID-19, the college operates on an online basis. Teachers are helpful whenever I have some queries about studies or administrative stuff. Teachers will help with any hesitation. I do not know much about teachers' qualifications, but they do not teach very well. It is hard to understand what they are trying to teach us. Due to the online mode, there are no industrial visits and practicals. So I think it will not make us industry-ready.
Other: I have chosen this course because of the knowledge I received from this course. I will learn about hardware and software, which will be beneficial for me in the future.

Good infrastructure and facilities are provided like scholarships.
Placements: This college does not offers placement so we need to get placed by walk in campus but nowadays some companies around 2 to 4 small companies are coming in college for recruitment last year 10 students where placed through collegr campus the highest package was 10lpa and the lowest was 2.5LPA, the average is 3.25lpa .
Infrastructure: In my course there is a good working computer labs with high internet speed and software the staff is helping and supportive, the quality of food available in mess and canteen is average, library is very good we get many books from library for extra studies.
Faculty: Faculty is good with supportive nature z all the teafhers are well qualified and are experienced and their teaching is very understanding, semester exams are not much difficult if we have studied well and the university curriculum of Pune university does not make students industry ready as per my experience.
Other: The college is located in a nature place where we will refresh and free and it helps us for study, there are so many events in collrge like traditional day, other sports and there are also some investment snd awareness seminars.
