    * The course covers various topics such as computerized accounting, income tax, business law, marketing, and management, but lacks relevance to real-world scenarios.
    * The curriculum is divided into six semesters over three years, with two exams per semester.
    * Students need to appear for four sets of exams throughout the academic year.

    Teaching Quality

    * Faculty members are well-educated, having completed their Ph.D. and Master's degrees from local universities.

It is worth spending Rs. 60,000 a year on BBA degree fees plus other facilities.
Placements: Every year, about 15 to 30 final-year students are placed in various MNCs. Top recruiters are Capgemini, Accenture, HCl, Wipro, etc. The average salary package offered goes up to 2.75 LPA. Professor Vikram Sharma is the head of the placement department.
Infrastructure: DAV College is equipped with all the required labs for each course. There are biology labs for biotechnology students, chemistry labs, physics labs, etc. Each individual department has its own computer lab, which is connected through a LAN. The library is double-storey and is situated a distance of 70 metres away from the college in a separate building. The Wi-Fi service is unfortunately unavailable at the campus for students. The hostel facilities at this college could be far better than those that are being offered now. Rooms are extremely small with little to no proper ventilation. The bathrooms are in an awful state. No provision for western toilet seats. Some can be completely fine with Indian toilets. DAV College has no playground of its own. Mess food is fine.
Faculty: All faculty members and the teachers are well-educated. Most of the teachers have cleared the UGC exam and are pursuing their PhDs in their respective fields. Teachers are highly knowledgeable, helpful, and always ready to provide tips. The course curriculum of BBA is fully relevant and diversified. It includes all the aspects of business administration, from computerised accounting to income tax, from business law to marketing and management. The BBA, just like any other bachelor's degree, is divided into six semesters for a period of 3 years, i. e., two semesters per year. The duration of each semester is approximately 5.5 months. Each semester consists of two examinations. The first one is mid-semester exams, and the second is semester exams. To elaborate, each year you have to appear four times for examinations. The exams are neither too tough nor easy. It totally depends on an individual's devotion to studies. Each semester, about 67% to 70% of students pass their semester exams, whereas this percentage decreases to 40% to 50% for mid-semesters. The reason behind this can be that students don't take mid-semester exams seriously as compared to semester exams.
Other: Overall, the campus is bursting with enthusiasm. Extracurricular activities are more likely to happen at the start of new semesters. DAV College hosts either zero or a single event in a year. Scholarships are available for students from outside the state, SC, ST, and OBCs. Apart from them, others can also avail of this opportunity by writing a letter to the Principal stating a valid reason. Moreover, students who have lost their breadwinners during COVID-19 are also eligible for scholarships. The hostel facility can be improved by building better and more spacious rooms, upgrading bathrooms, and improving the food in the mess.

The infrastructure of this college is average.
Placements: The average students were placed in this college. The highest salary package offered was 1.2 LPA. The top recruiting companies were TCS, etc. The students also got internships, and the top role offered was chief executive.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college was good. There were many sports in our college like football, cricket, badminton, etc. They organised sports day that held in college and encourage students to participate in various games like cricket, running. The medical facilities of this college were good.
Faculty: Teachers help students with projects and making an assignment. The semester exams were moderate, and some subjects of the course were difficult. For the first division, the percentage was 60%. Below 60 was the second division, and below 50 was the third division.
Other: I opted for this course, because of my interest in business and finance. The practical work in BBA can be improved.

It is an average college in Amritsar, but it is good for students who are interested in studies.
Placements: Great placements are provided by our college and a lot of companies visit our campus. Many students are hired by companies. TCS and Infosys came for placements and offered a salary package between 4 LPA - 6 LPA but the highest salary package offered was 8 LPA. That was a good experience.
Infrastructure: It has a great infrastructure and well-built design along with a modern facility. Moreover, labs are student-friendly. Wi-Fi is available in the library and classrooms. Mess food is like home food made by the mother, and it is so mouth-watering. Spring-roll is the best.
Faculty: Faculty members here are not so good. They impose themselves on students and critisize students. Therefore students cannot even score passing marks in exams. Teachers are quite strict and sometimes they will not even mark the attendance. But some teacehrs are good.
Other: I opted for BBA and it is fine. I was in NCC in our college. There was only Lohri fest.

Our teachers are the best, but the infrastructure and campus are poor.
Placements: 40% of students got placed, and the salary offered is 10,000 to 15,000 per month. The top recruiting companies were Infosys and Wipro. Very few students got internship opportunities. The top roles offered by companies were target sales and sales manager.
Infrastructure: The classrooms were good and spacious, but there were no air-conditioners. So, it is tough to study in summers as the temperature is very high, and in addition, the classes on the top floor are very hot due to direct sunlight. Lift facilities are not available, and it makes it very difficult to go to the top floor daily.
Faculty: Our teachers are the best part of this college. They are very helpful and friendly. There are also some senior teachers with huge experience. Teachers are very punctual and teach great human values. The college has a combination of young and old teachers.
Other: I belong to a business family, so it was very beneficial for me to do bachelors in business administration. Although, some additional subjects can be added to the curriculum.

Dissatisfied with the college as some teachers are not cooperative.
Placements: Around 40% of students got placed. 1.5 LPA is the lowest package offered, and 4.5 LPA is the highest package. The top recruiting companies are Wipro, ICICI Prudential, Decathlon, Infosys, TCS, Chola Mandlam, etc., for all streams. Around 30% of students got internships. BPO jobs are offered to the students. You have to work yourself in the college to get internships.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is bad, and Wi-Fi is available for teachers only. The library is average. The quality of food in the hostel is average. The canteens are separate for boys and girls, and the food is average. Medical facilities are not up to the mark. Sports events are conducted in our college.
Faculty: Some of the teachers are helpful, and some are not. All the teachers are well-qualified. The teaching quality varies from teacher to teacher. Some teachers are rude too. The curriculum is not relevant. It doesn't make students industry-ready.
Other: I chose this course because it best suited me. More practical knowledge should be provided than theoretical. Events and fests are conducted in the college, and they provide scholarships to exceptional students only.

    Dissatisfied with the experience.
Placements: 10% of the batch was placed. Same for the seniors. The salary offered was 10,000 to 15,000 per month. The jobs were very basic in nature and did not relate to the course structure at all. The quality of the compines visiting and the profiles offered were not of undergraduate level.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is extremely small and there is no campus life. No Wi-Fi in the campus. Classroom are old and need repair. Old food in the canteen. Open wires lead to risk of electric shock. Computer lab have vintage computers which cannot run new software.
Faculty: The faculty has done their Ph.D. and Masters from local universities only. Their knowledge is limited to theoretical aspects only. None of them any industry exposure. Some of the faculty are good teachers but the quality of students and willingness of students to learn is minimum.
